Health officials lift the bacteria advisory they issued for Sprague Pond earlier this month. They first sounded the alarm weeks ago about high levels of dangerous blue green algae that were killing fish in the pond. Health officials closed off the area
from the public just to be safe. But now a new test conducted last week finds that the algae levels are now safe, allowing health officials to lift that advisory. This all comes months after waters around the state face closures this summer because of unsafe bacteria levels. A Black Friday, shoppers may be deal hunting with a little more urgency this year. CBS's Heather Bosch says the President elect proposed tarra could do away with the low prices by now
or pay more later because of US imposed tariffs. That's the warning from many US businesses to consumers. President elect Trump has promised to impose a twenty five percent tariff on goods from Mexico and Canada and boost the price of products from China by at least ten percent. Retail experts tell The Wall Street Journal that country's exporting goods to the US will likely pass on the increased costs
to consumers. Trump believes tariffs will ultimately boost manufacturing in the US and convince foreign manufacturers to open plants.

No pandemic or chip shortage to worry about this year, and incentives, while not huge or definitely back. Kelly Bluebook says there are a lot of no interest financing deals out there, particularly on GM's full size pickup Crux. Chevy also has some good lease offers on the outgoing model of the Equinox small suv. Other vehicles with good deals include the Honda Cord and SUPERU cross track.

Here's a look at what Triple A expects will be the best and worst times to hit the road these next few days. For Saturday, the best time to travel is before one pm. The worst is well anytime after that, but especially between four and eight pm. On Sunday, you'll want to start your journey well before the clock strikes noon. a high near forty degrees. Right now, it's forty four in Boston at four oh ooh five and two Boston residents are accused of stealing mopeds from the same victim twice and one day. Police say they arrested Sebatian Faku of Dorchester and Nikita Struthers of Roxbury Tuesday morning. They're accused of stealing mopeds from a man and his friend, and then stealing them again after the man tracked them down and took them back. Fako and Struthers allegedly confronted
the man showing guns during the second theft. They'll face charges including assault and battery when they're arraigned in Dorchester District Court. Well, it's Black Friday if you haven't heard, But if you got up dark and early this morning to chase door doorbuster deals, you might not have encountered much of a crowd. Wbz's Kendall Buele.
Reports doorbusters, of course what they call the big Black Friday deals, evoking images of huge and rowdy crowds waiting outside when stores open up. But the early birds who came to a major box store in Peebdy before sunrise found they had plenty of elbow room.
It's much easier getting in, but there's less deals. Thought it would be more hectic, not as chaotic.
This years seems barren.
That last chopper came out with a full carts, but says he's still disappointed with this year's Black Friday experience.
This seems like they opened later than they should usually and the majority of the stuff they surely have on sale at nod And.
It wasn't just that big retailer cars that the parking lot of a major mall nearby were similarly sparse. Whatever deals people are finding, the big crowd seemed to be a ghost of Christmas past from the North Shore. Can't be able to be a busy Boston's News Radio.

I'm John Fink and Stoneham Police are searching for suspects in an armed home invasion early Thanksgiving morning yesterday. The victim told authorities that two suspects armed with knives entered their apartment on Fallon Road while they were sleeping. They allegedly took off with cash and other valuables. They also punched the man who was sleeping at the time. Police say there's no ongoing threat to the neighborhood. One suspect is described as a black man in a green north
faced jacket. The other man is white with blue eyes, wearing all black. Both were wearing masks on their faces. Anyone with information is asked to contact police. You are now in the loop.
