The State of New Hampshire has reached the settlement in the wrongful death
lawsuit filed by the mother of Harmony Montgomery. The state will pay more than two million dollars to Crystal Surry, who filed the suit against the Division for Children, Youth and Families last year. She argues that they failed to act on numerous reports of concerning behavior from Harmony's father, who eventually was convicted of murdering Harmony. Adam Montgomery, was awarded custody of Harmony in twenty sixteen. Police believe she
was killed soon after that. A federal judge has filed a restraining order blocking the Trump administration from banning international students at Harvard University. WBC's Mike Macklin tells us one local lawmaker is furious at the president.
So wrongheaded everything that the White House is doing. I just stand in opposition to all that trap. I gotta tell you, this president and this administration is dragging this country down down every single day in the eyes of the world and the eyes of its own citizens and emotional.
Massachusetts Congressman Stephen inch hammered President Donald Trump for the decision to bar international students from enrolling at Harvard.
The people he has assembled in his administration are a goddamn disgrace.

It will take years, maybe decades to repair the damage that Donald Trump and that group of morons and buffoons is doing to this country each and every day.

The Department of Homeland Security accuses the school of creating an unsafe campus environment for Jewish students by allowing anti American pro terrorist agitators on the Harvard campus. President Trump commented earlier today on the situation, they.

So Harvard's going to have to change his ways. When asked about international students coming to American colleges, the President said, we don't want troublemakers here. Boston Mayor Michelle Will and the school superintendent, Mary Skipper announcing today that Min's Attorney Natasha Tidwell will lead an independent review of safety policies and performance under contracts with Transdev, the company that contracts
with BPS to provide transportation services. Tidwell is a former federal prosecutor and police officer who specializes in external investigations. The decision to initiate a review follows the death of Lens Joseph, a kindergartner struck and killed by a school bus last month. In case you haven't had enough rain, we got a little more for you. There's a lot of precipitation stretching across Vermont, New Hampshire and off toward the nord Heren coast of Massachusetts. This is Amesbury, Salisbury,
Newburyport getting it on. A little bit of rain, a little bit back toward Merrimac as well. And we are seeing some of this rain push across New Hampshire also from on a line here from Manchester down to Hampstead. Last out Havel had some rain earlier. Looks like they're out of the woods at least right now. There's much more rain back across the western part of Massachusetts, western Connecticut,
and eastern New York State. Some of this has been putting down some rain along I eighty four and along the mass Turnpike. So if that's the way you're heading, make sure you have the wipers on because you'll need them. And this will push off to the north and to the east, so everybody may get under a shower or even some occasional rain as we head into the early evening. It's not an exceptional amount of rain. It's not like yesterday for sure, but nonetheless more rain, which is probably
not what you wanted to hear. As we go later into the night, just clouds hanging around. Forty nine clouds with breaks of sun tomorrow. I did say sun, just want to make sure you hurt me. A shower or two is possible tomorrow, though temperature is near sixty. Probably dry from that point on times of clouds and sunshine on Sunday, temperatures in the low sixties, upper sixties on Monday for Memorial Day, more sun than clouds for us.
