The Longest Podcast in the World

Mike Russellnewmediaeurope.com
I'm Mike Russell, co founder of UK Podcasters community and New Media Europe conference. I was thrilled to host a 36 hour non-stop podcast on 21st & 22nd April 2016. I didn't sleep for the full 36 hour marathon and broke the world record for the longest ever continuous podcast. I was thrilled to be joined by thousands who watched, listened and chatted during the live event. Together we made history in enhancing awareness of all of the amazing independent podcasters out there. Podcasting in the UK and in the world is a huge growing medium that should no longer be ignored. There are many amazing independent podcasters who influence lives and businesses. Those hard working individuals are experts in their niches and provide incredible learning platforms for general public.

The idea of this non-stop podcast is to bring the spotlight on to independent content creators who deserve to get credit for the work they do. Join us in the UK Podcasters community and meet fellow podcasters in person at New Media Europe.
