Episode description
Please join me to hear Carson Tueller's inspiring story (Original Airdate: 3/24/2021). In 2013 Carson came out as a gay man and in that same year he also injured his spinal cord in an accident that broke his neck, paralyzing him from the chest down. In that one moment, the course of his life shifted, causing an identity crisis which would act as the impetus for self-discovery and exploration.
Carson took that one moment and has turned it into opportunity where he has become an LGBTQ+ / disability advocate helping to educate people around the world as a vocal advocate and leader. We will discuss his work as a disability advocate along with work as President of the non-profit, Affirmation. With Affirmation he delivered keynotes and training to international leaders on topics like worth, inclusion, and suicide prevention.
In addition to all of this, Carson began speaking across the U.S. to universities, corporations, and nonprofits about how individuals can experience power, happiness and fulfillment in any circumstance in life. As part of his journey, Carson also immersed himself in transformational education, earning a B.S. in psychology, and receiving extensive training in ontological coaching methods.
