072: Passion for God Above All

It can be easy to confuse passion for God and passion for religious things.  The church at Ephesus ran into this problem.  If you read the first three verses of chapter two, it seems to describe the model Christians: hard-working, perseverance, defending the truth, and enduring hardships.  All these are admirable traits.  We would feel pleased if Jesus described us in such terms. But the Ephesians were missing something.  This something was so important that Jesus said it threatened their identity as the church.  What was this something?  Love.
