Episode 38 - The Large World of Sci-Fi
Episode description
Hello everyone! Hope you're doing okay in these times! This week, due to some personal issues I could not prepare a larger episode which was an excellent collab and should be up soon. In the mean time, though, not wanting to leave a gap, I talked a bit about the Scifi market in Brazil, its limitations and lack of diversity, along with the obnoxious focus on dystopias to boot. Adding to it, I talk some more about my issues with them and how there's a lot more interesting Scifi than that that already exists! So a good time coalescing several different thoughts and ideas on these larger questions of writing, imagination, and portraying a different future. I do hope you enjoy it and let me know how you find the new mic too!!
