The gifts just keep throwing in the generosity of the solar system on as full a display as ever here this year. And boss man, who's up next to this Christmas? I don't have a name yet, but it's from Pikeville, Kentucky. Okay, we're covering a lot of states we are. Indeed, I don't think we've had any repeats yet. It could be wrong, but yeah, that's a good point

too. State of shock, especially on a couple of these unveils. So we're like a standard uh media mail envelope here, That's right, but we have as I can definitely tell you it is a book of sorts wrapped gift inside. This one's come in my way, Yes, yeah, unless it's a book about I don't know, the Godfathers or book zoom haff I guess I'll keep that one. Book zuom haf book Merry Christmas, enjoy all the sweet moments to a wonderful holiday about Enjoy all the sweet moments a wonderful holiday

season can bring to my beloved co chairs. Please accept this my contribution to that lapsed bookshelf. I hope it can help one day on the journey. My most sincere wish is of peace and joy to you and yours. Number one in the ring, number one in your heart, number one in my ass. Yes, thank you for hulk Ulkmania. The Reverend Colonel goddamn Kentucky. So this is from the Reverend Colonel gift give. That's the name of the gift giver. We'll take it, he will take it, and it

It is from Saturday Night to Sunday Night. It's the Memoirs of Dick Ever Saul a fucking face idt. He's such a producer. You know what. What's great about the Olympics are the stories,

huh you know? And he yeah, he definitely is a guy who who for as long as he could, did the the T shirt under the blazer, you know, as long as he could, as long as he could. That's so I'm happy. I'm happy in particular because I've I've read the book, and it's actually quite good. So it's nice to have a hard copy. I have a copy. Absolutely. There we go a lot of lessons in there. You remember that episode I came out swinging saying that

the Dick Eversoll era of SNL is actually wrongfully maligned. Yes, it said right after I read that. Wow, good sales job. Wow, But no, the breath of that guy's professional experience, the amount of things he put his touch on, is just breathtaking. He is an all time legend in television, and Vince McMahon could not have been more lucky than to have ended up with him in eighty five on NBC. I mean, you know, we can talk all day about how Vince had a unique genius for the

business, but without Dick Eversoll, he's a bitch. Vince in the TV absolutely Absolutely, we've talked about Yeah, ohh he's got a lot. I'm just looking at right now. He's got a lot. He's got some Linda stories as well, apparently, Pedro Martinez stories, the guy Terry Funk threatened, or the Red Sox Pischure and the Einhorn's business partner. You mean, there's something called the I w a that was getting stolen in seventy that's right. Oh Jesus, that's nice. A lot of Boston stuff in there too.

Is his late son, Teddy, who tragically passed away in a plane crash. Was a huge Red Sox fan, and there's a there's a park in Boston named after him. And oh wow, I did not there's a lot of there about that Connecticut guy, Dick ever saw, Oh dude, absolutely, Oh fuck yes, and don't want to say that. I definitely want to see just the name hul Cogan good phul Coin. I looked looking in the index. Terry, Yeah, Terry Blayer, just see if that was in there. But now it's just Randy Savage is in there too.

Yeah. He has a He has an anecdote about Randy calling his house after Saturday night's main event asking about the ratings. Dick EBERSOLM mean, Randy Savage? Just call you want to ask you question? Uh? Okay, okay, Randy? Who who is this again? Get it? I get it? Whatchu mean? Randy Savit work for Vince McMahon up in Connecticut. Ah huh uh how yeah, okay, how did you get this number? Mochell Man doesn't need to review his sources. Monchill man is the source? What

was the source? The ever living source of it all? Can you put the funk pop in the camera? Why you do this? True of macho man. I'd love to see it, see how that. It's a very rare opportunity to see the boss of the video here. Oh he's taking it out going one step further. It's one of the earlier gifts. If you didn't listen to that show, it's a new smash hit, new mote to your benefit. All I want to know is there's one thing. Give it to me, Di Giversol, give me what I need. I need the

hell over he said. He said, give it to me, Dick Giversall. He means the overnights, he means the demo. I want to know the overnights. I want to know where it's coming. I want to know where we're going. I need to know the black and the white, the facts, the numbers. Need to know the truth. Dick Ebersol, give me what the much your man needs, and I will give you everything you

desire. Amazing stuff. Fucking fuck ah shit, Dick Aversaw so lots to thumb through from the tails the travails, the memoirs, the recollections of Dick Abersol This holiday season a great it's a great read. I recommend checking it out boss, if you have some time over the over the break, if anybody into entertainment and stuff. The guy is just coming up on another Olympic

season in Paris in twenty twenty four. NBC is doing all the all that stuff, all of our conception of how an Olympics is covered, it's all him. He started just researching. His His first job was just simply researching the athletes for the TV station. Like wow, it was just this sort of like a not and he ran with that ball and he innovated as far as like flying out to teams that's crazy, and interest stories and sports that

weren't automatically Marquee. Wonderful book, wonderful contributor. And we wouldn't be here in terms of talking about wrestling as big as it is if it wasn't for him in eighty five. Yeah, I definitely agree with that statement. And thanks so much for the for the gift from Maryland. It's it's great to uh to add to the bookshelf any chance we get, and many more journeys to come. We'll see you next time as we continue working down that backlog.
