Karel Cast Podcast #195 Why is This All Happening Now? It's the #1 question I get via email every day…why is this happening now? Why are there so many anti-trans bills nationwide? Why are there record shootings? Why are we paying record prices for goods and groceries? Why is climate change not seriously being addressed? Why is there a record wealth gap? Why is there a record number of sick people? Why … on and on. And it really is just a few simple reasons to explain it all. Watch on YouTube and listen wherever you get your podcast. Today on the Crowdcast, we are going to talk about the number one question that I get via email at contact at really Correll dot com. No matter what day of the week it is, it is the number one question. And no it's not if I'm single, I wish it were. We're going to talk about that uncensored, unfiltered, unhinged Coulcast. Listen daily on your favorite streaming service. Here is the Crowdcast. I am Correl, silvery glad you are joining me. You know, for years I had the pleasure of

singing a song Can you tell me why? Uh? Bronsky Beats. You know. The name of the song is why, and I sang it into my concerts and I actually got to sing it with Bronsky Beat. Uh. And that song is from the eighties and it really was about you know, can you tell me why there's all this hatred towards gay people? You know? Can you tell me why there's contempt in your eyes? As a turn

to kiss his lips? You know? Why why would someone have contempt to see two men's you know, kissing broke and a lie on my feelings, denied blood on your fist, meaning they were attacked? Can you tell me why. So In the eighties, gay people, particularly Steve Bronsky and Jimmy Somerville and the band We're asking the musical question why, why you know? Is it so important to you that I'm gay? Why is it? You

know? For my whole life I have asked the question, why is my sexuality so important to so many people that they spend so much money on it, fighting it, legislating it, going out rallying with signs? Why you know? I read a thing from Cheryl Crow yesterday. She said, you know, when you if you believe in God, when you meet God, God is not going to ask you about the lesbians down the street and why they're lesbians. God is not going to ask you about the transgendered person across

the road and why they're transgendered. God is not going to ask you about the person of color, or about the atheist. God's gonna ask you, if you believe in God, did you love them like you were told to, like you love them yourself. Did you do unto them as you would have had them do unto you. God's going to ask you about you, not about anybody else. And that's a sobering thought. If you think about it now. Captain Care a great charity that you should support. She helps

all kinds of animals get out of really bad situation. And she sent me a note today that said, Correll, why are there so many anti trans bills? Right now? There's forty one states now they're trying to ban you know, gender, Why are we in Florida? Are they so obsessed with abortion? You know? Now they're banning it at six weeks before most women know they're pregnant, and they're trying to make it illegal to travel out of state to get an abortion. They're trying to Oh, they're just they're really

trying to criminalize women. Why why? Now? You know, trans people are about two percent of the population. Okay, so at three hundred and twenty five million, let's say twenty percent is sixty four million, two percent is six point four million or like nobody, okay, statistically two percent,

that's nothing. So why is eighty to nine ninety percent of state house politics in forty one states going to ban trans affirming care going to actually harm American citizens because legislators somewhere don't understand them, because they don't get it, because they're uneducated, because they're religious bigots. Why you know the wealth gap is only spreading in our country right now? You could be making one hundred grand

a year and you're basically poor. Food is out of control, whether you're eating out or trying to buy it at the grocery store, it's just out of control. Why Why have grocery prices just gone up, up up? Why? Why is hatred at an all time high? Why in Alabama are four kids dead today, including a promising athlete. Why you know, I was told for a long time don't ask why because a you may not like the answers or be there may not be one, There may not be an

answer. But to these questions about climate change, why aren't we acting like the house is literally on fire? About the drought in the West. Why aren't we doing more to bring more water and to help mitigate the drought. Why? Why is everything in such disarray right now? Let's go back to the trans issue. Why is everyone so preoccupied with what less than six million

people do with their lives? Statistically, even if you go at the high end of ten percent of the population being gay, you're still looking at thirty two million people. And when I say being gamman LGBTQIA somewhere on that spectrum you're still looking. You know, they say gay people like five percent.

I've always wondered, why is so much money and time politically, and so much capital spent on sixteen twenty million people out of three hundred and twenty five when there are so many issues that affect the good of the many three hundred and twenty five million people. Where there are issues right here, like the price of food, like climate change, like the wealth gap, income disparity, the lack of a social network to catch you. Why are there so

many sick people? Why are the hospitals filled? Why is medical expense? Why is it so expensive? There are so many things that affect everybody, and yet all we seem to be concentrating on are the things that affect almost nobody. Most of you don't know a trans person. If you do, they may not have come out to you. Most of you do not know a trans person you know, and yet you hear about trans people in the news every single day, and yet most of you you don't know a trans

person. Why, hey, why don't you know what be? Why if so much time spent on you know, trans people, when there's so few. Well, I have to tell you I have some of the answers to these questions, being gay and having watched this happen my whole life, watching America be obsessed with who I sleep with or Mary, watching America go through

making rules against who I sleep with or Mary. I have watched my entire life a country, a nation, many countries, and many nations waste their time on something so insignificant as who's screwing who or who's loving who, something that a government shouldn't even be involved in. I have watched my entire life governments be involved in things that they have no business legislating and wondered why. Now. The first and real answer to all of these questions is that there's

money in it. There's money in bigotry, there's money in hatred. There's just no two ways about that. There's money in it. That's one of the reasons why this happens. For instance, there's money in anti trans hatred. Most of the people out there protesting you know, pre pubescent kids don't know about you know, hormone blockers. They shouldn't be given them, and blah blah blah blah blah, are the same people that will let their kids

pose with an AAR fifteen. There's no sense or logic to what they're doing because they themselves don't know what they're doing. They have been told to be outraged about something and they are. Why because it's otherism. It's not like them. None of their families trans heaven forbid, None of their children are gay, None of their you know friends are black, none of their you know people are poor or whatever. Because it's easy to stir up hatred in

ignorant people, and there's money in it. There's money in hatred, in fact, in our day and age. Now, that's all there is money in. There's no money in kindness, there's no money in joy. We're gonna keep talking about this today on today's show, so don't go anywhere. But the first answer is why is all this happening? There's money yet if you're not visiting really correll dot com daily, you're missing out. Get the

podcast videos and the blug including recipes at really correll dot com. That's really KA R e l dot com uncensored, it's unfiltered, unhinged. It's the coulcast, Oh Correl. Why is nothing being done about the drought? Why you know, if I asked you, what's the biggest user of water in the West, Okay, what would your answer be? To flop the top of your head right now at home or in your car, wherever you're listening, what uses the most water in the West. Some of you might say

the city Las Vegas, Los Angeles. Some of you might say drinking water. Some of you might say the rich and their pools and their landscaping. Some of you might say farming. That's all too simple. Do you know what consumes the most water in the West of the United States? The most, the absolute most. Vox magazine is going to feature this on Wednesday. Cows. Cows. Cows consume thirty to forty gallons of water per day, per day. So the meat and dairy industry is literally draining the Colorado River,

just draining it. Now, if water is so important to the people of the West, they would get rid of cows. And we know, we know that climate change. The IPCC report which got censored by the meat and dairy industry for this very reason, because it said it is imperative that we adopt a plant based diet if we are to survive. And one of

the reasons is cows take too much fricking water. We would not have to conserve one drop of water if we got rid of eighty percent of the livestock in the West and not moved at someplace else, just got rid of it. Made people go plant based. Now immediately you have a problem with that. And see one of the answers to why is all of this going wrong is you. You're the problem. You refuse to change, and you gave up your power. You gave up your power long ago to the wealthy,

to corporations and to wealthy elected officials. You literally gave up your life for what the same thing I said in segment one money. Why do you give up your power? Why do you give up your life because there's money in it? Money in it for you? Well, I need money, Correllia. Worst you do. But how you get it, that's up to you and always has been. If you were told you could solve the drought in the West. The President of the United States, Joseph Biden knows this.

John Carrie knows this. They have the science. The number one consumer of water in the West cows, pigs, chickens, livestock. When they say farming, they don't mean grapes or lettuce. They mean cows. Cows take thirty gallons of water a day ahead of lettus doesn't. Carrots do not tofu soybeans do not. Lentils, which have more protein than cows, do not take thirty gallons of water a day per lentil. But what do you do

about that? Nothing? You know. I'm working with a friend to try to get something going at a hotel here, and their main focus right now is promoting their steakhouse. A steakhouse sells what cows? This is a steakhouse in Las Vegas. There should be no steakhouses in Las Vegas. It's taking all of our water to get that steak to that steakhouse. Does the hotel care no? Why it's money in it? Do you care? Not enough

to do anything? For five years, I have stood here a vegan, having lost one hundred and ten pounds and now having almost all bill of health for almost every part of my body. And what do you do? You still consume meat and dairy. It's killing the West Coast, It's killing America. Why are there so many sick people in our country? Why? Because we've been fed a diet of horrible food and told to turn to omnipros all or whatever it is. If we're gonna what is that new on presic or

whatever to lose weight. Oh, the food you're eating is eating out your gut. Takeing omnipros all. Take prevaced, Take prili stack. Oh, record number of coronaries and heart attacks and strokes. Take this drug, Take that drug. They never say, change your diet. And you sit there powerless, saying to yourself, well, there's nothing I can do. I'm just one person. I've got to work, I've got to drive a car, I've got to do this. You ain't got to do shit except eat

crap, breathe, sleep. That's what you gotta do. How you do that has always been up to you. But there's money in telling you that there's not. There's money in hatred, there's money in anti gay bigotry. They raise lots of money off of anti trans bigotry, even though it affects none of them, even though there's no reason for their fear. I read a parody today that said, mom My school's being attacked by a drag queen.

We're hiding under the desk. It was an active shooter. Drill, but then every time they use shooter they put the word drag queen in there. It sounded absurd when you were reading it, it was absurd. But why has the nation suddenly turned against drag queens? Because there's money in it, Because they can fund hatred, they can derive wealth. Look at talk shows you know over at NAB today they're talking about the future of podcasting and

how to make money during podcasting. You know, how to make money during a podcast hatred. All the top rankings podcast that are making money are hate filled. They are hatred filled, bigotry filled, anti black, anti Jew, anti gay, anti trans everything but anti Maine. And they're rolling in the dough. People like me that just want to make your life better, that want to entertain you, that want to maybe get in the kitchen and show you how to do things, or take you out in the world and

travel. Ain't no money in that. Because there's no money in love, acceptance, tolerance, There's no money in unity. There's only money in division. There's no money in coming together as a people. There's only money in them keeping us apart. And since money is the only thing that drives the world, there's your answer as to why it's all happening. Why is the wealth gap getting bigger because they're taking more of your money? Why because they

can, because there's no one to stop them. Because again, you gave up all your power for money. What little money you have, what little money you get, you gave up all your power for You don't have time to go protest, You don't have time to sit on the phone, and more importantly, you don't have time to run for office. We all should be running for some sort of board somewhere, school board, county commission,

education boards, state senate, regular senate, in Congress. Each and every one of us should have at least tried to run for something in our community, dog catcher, justice of the peace. But you can't do that. You need money, and now just to run you need money. You know, money is not the root of all evil. We are humans. Why are they able to get these antitrans bills through? Because humans have sold out their power and love to finance hatred. They always have hatred and bigotry and

negativity has always sold, always made more money. So what do we do? How do we make it more profitable to actually save the earth than destroy it? How do we make it more profitable to actually empower trans people, empower gay people. How do we make it more profitable to lift up African Americans out of prisons, out of jails, out of poverty. How do we make it profitable to end homelessness, to actually stop it? How do we make more money in good than evil? How do we do that?

Every time somebody tries, they get struck down. Every time entertainers, podcasters, anyone comes along that if positive, they don't get supported and have to stop. It's really simple how we can solve the problem. The question is will you How do we stop cows from taking all the water in the West? Pretty simple? Make your device a whole smarter. Get the correl cast damp free at the app store of your choice, now uncensored, unfiltered, unhinged corel Cast. It is the qurel Cast. And you know, I'm

grateful for the six hundred and fifty dollars an from Patreon. I am really grateful, and I know that puts me in a higher level than many podcasters. Today. I read that teachers are actually starting Patreon accounts because they're not

getting paid enough to teach. How do you make a change? Sixty seven of you support me on Patreon. Tens of thousands of you listen to me, and yet you won't fess up five dollars a month to keep a positive voice on the air on SoundCloud. Every day I get a thousand downloads or more on the Progressive Voices Network. I can see the numbers. I chart number one there day after day after day on the SoundCloud Progressive Voice Network.

Only three of you that listen to me that way actually give any money a month. I'm not shaming you. I'm just showing you why positive things don't get funded because you won't do it. If eighty percent of the water used for farming is in the West goes to cows, all of you listening in my areas of San Francisco, San Jose, Long Beach, all the places where I have been popular, and Los Angeles and San Diego, all of

you listening on the West coast, all the way up to Scattle. You have the power to put a dent in that starting tomorrow by not eating any beef, by not eating any chickens, by not buying any milk. But you won't. You won't do what needs to be done. You won't do it now The bigger question there is why, And you're going to go back to money. Well, Curl, I don't have five dollars or ten dollars a months to give you. Yeah, you do. You just choose to

spend it on something else. Some of you truly don't. You're on disability. You get five hundred bucks a month. I get it. Most of you have five or ten bucks a month. You could give to the podcast so I could go buy these two great cameras that I want to. I want to invest five grand into the show and get new cameras and new software. If I had ten grand I could invest, I'd get new cameras,

new software, and a new computer to run it. You don't know that it took me thirty five minutes to start the show today because wire cast won't work properly. These cameras, you know, they're not talking to each other properly, and the high death is not working, and I got to go down to seven hundred twenty P when these cameras are actually four K. I can't record in four K because it stutters and spits, and I can't get

it to do stuff. I need to upgrade. Everything I'm using is at least five ten years old, and for that I need five or ten grand. Will any of you support that? No, oh, you don't need a kroll. I mean, no one watches your YouTube anyway. But if I were spreading hate, if if I were Shapiro out there right now spreading conspiracy theories instead, I needed those cameras. Someone by the end of the week would donate enough money for me to go get them. Why Because people

that hate will totally and blindly support others who hate. And that's the answer to the why. Because good people, like they said during World War Two, sit around and do nothing. And they have their reasons. I gotta make a living, I've got a family, I don't have enough money. I Oh, there's a million reasons why good people sit around and do nothing in their communities. Why we all acknowledge that there's more black people in prison than in school but do nothing about it. Why we all go out and

say there's a homeless problem, We've got to do something. But when's the last time you actually gave a homeless person something or try to get them actually off the street where you called an agency and said, here's a homeless person, we need to get them when's the last time you did that? When's the last time you ran for city council to try to change something in your

city? Good people refuse to commit to taking their power back. And one of the ways you take your power back is by empowering people that are out there trying to do your bidding. People like me, People who are out there trying to tell the world, look, go Vegan, it will save the world. Look, I'm gay, I'm not harmful. Trans people are not harmful. Drag queens are not harmful. People who get yelled at and shouted at and beaten down people like me. You just won't do it.

You won't support the causes that actually help because you feel powerless. You think my support's not gonna matter. When's the last time you supported an anti gun movement? You know, when's the last time you took your kids out of school and said, I'm not putting them in public school until there's no more active shooter drills. I'm not subjecting them to that. When's the last time you actually changed self, your life, or sacrificed something for the greater goods?

When when's the last time you found thirteen dollars in your laundry pocket and brought it directly to the park and gave it to someone like I did two days ago. When when's the last time you did anything to expand your life and your mind for the better. They have taken your power, and they have taken your will power away from you, and you gave it up for money. You gave it up. We all did. I didn't, but

many of you have. And that's why it's all happening, because we're letting it happen because we sit by and say there's not much we can do, and so we do nothing because we sit by and say, oh, I've got to be concerned with my life. I can't give you ten dollars Correll. I've got bills. I can't, you know, go and run for office. I've got a career. I can't do this. I can't fight. You can't. And look and look where we are. You're right,

you can't do anything to change anything. Look where we are. You can't solve homelessness there it is. You can't solve climate change, and yet you can. It's like I said about when you have a large amount of stuff to pack, the way that you don't get overwhelmed is by packing one box at a time and putting it aside. Soon you'll make a dent each day if you just supported one positive change in your life each day, if you don't eat meat and dairy each day, if you support someone like me Stephanie

Miller, David Packman to pick your poison, whatever. If you support the people that are out there trying to counter the other side, and that means with money. That means sharing our videos, sharing our messages, That means posting stuff that you know, it means getting involved. If you got involved in all of these crews when until last time you actually went to some sort

of event to support trans people or drag people. My friend Death went to a drag march over Easter Sunday. You know, I went down to the Center. I went this pool party we were gonna do. I was gonna try to donate money to the to the drag and trans charities here in Nevada. Now that I don't think that's happening, I'll find another avenue to try to support dragon trans right here in Nevada. What are you doing? That's the answer as to why. Because people that hey are motivated, people that

are positive kind of set spectation. Can they ask themselves? Why I am Correll? Who you want to be found? And hurt you? Betty? Why?
