GUILTY ALL COUNTS! But What Will It Mean? Karel Cast 24-63

The First American President to ever be convicted of a felony, Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts. But what, if anything will it really mean? Will it move the needle at all in the election? And what does it say about the electorate that they would, in fact, allow a convicted felon to run for office?

Well, the sounds of champagne corks popping across the globe sounded like a sonic boom. But will the happiness last? Donald Trump convicted of all thirty four counts, the first US president to also be a convicted fellow, uncensored, unfiltered, fun hinged. It's the Cuell Cast. Listen daily on your favorite streaming service. It is the Crew Cast. I am Correl, so very glad to be here with you, So glad you are joining me. Happy

Friday. I know it was a happy Thursday for a lot of you all because the news came across right as Donald Trump was getting ready to leave the courthouse, figuring, oh, another day without a verdict, This is good for me. They came back guilty on all thirty four counts, and ABC News they had thirty four number categories and then everyone guilty, guilty, guilty, and it was it was astounding to watch from a historical standpoint, and the world was watching. I went to Sky News, NHK World, CBC

France twenty four. They were all wall to wall reporting about Donald Trump being convicted of all and he is now a convicted felon. That's no more hyperbole that's no more, you know, no more just wishful thinking. He is now a convicted felon, which means he has been convicted of felonies. Now they'll appeal. Who knows if they'll win the appeals. That's that's months,

possibly years away. His sentencing is July eleventh. Just so you know, in these cases in New York, most of the time, the defendants do not go to jail. They go to house arrest, probation, you know, that sort of stuff. But it's rare, it can happen, and it's up to judgements, Sean, whether or not he goes to jail. And the probation officer that Trump will have to meet with, he will have to sit down with a probation officer. He's gonna have to report for like

he's on probation, so he'll until the sentencing. So he will have to, you know, do everything that the probation officer says to do. This. If he says pin and a cup, he's gonna have to pein a cup. That's just the way that is. And a lot of you are reveling in this, are very happy. I was very happy when the when the verdicts came back guilty. Not because I thought that it was going to do anything to Donald Trump, but because I thought it would set the tone.

Okay, if these had come back not guilty or a hung verdict, hung jury, that would have been problematic for future prosecutions of Donald Trump. But now that twelve jurors have come back guilty, other people that go in to be jurors in the Donald Trump cases, of which there are three, you know, it's not a precedent anymore. They wouldn't be setting a precedent or making history by finding him guilty. It's happened. This will probably be

the only case before the election, which is five months away. That's a shame. The January sixth trials should go forward, but the Supreme Court is holding that up. The Florida and Georgia cass should go forward. In Georgia, they're being held up by them investigating Fanny Willis instead of the real criminals. And in the Florida case has been postponed indefinitely because the Trump is a I'm sorry, the judge is a Trump appointee and is finding a million reasons

for roadblocks, and there's a lot of that going on. Alito in the Supreme Court should norminally be recused. They should be thrown out. Alito should be thrown out, Thomas should be thrown out. Conan Barrett should be thrown out. Well, I think of the four of them should probably be thrown out of the Supreme Court. We won't. And that's the thing that really

has me sad today about the Donald Trump verdict. There was a time in this country when a convicted felon could get nowhere near a nomination for a party. Oh, they may run for president, but the actual party itself, the GOP or the Democrats, would not nominate them for the office of president. There is a time where people would not vote for a convicted felon, no matter how much they liked him. But now we live in a time

where this judgment will do nothing to stop his candidacy. And that's the sad part, not about Donald Trump. All of this doesn't speak about Donald Trump. It speaks about we, the people and the nation. Now. I know that most of you listening to me it would disqualify a candidate. You would not vote for a convicted fello. I get that. And for most of you, you feel that Donald Trump is going to get or is getting

what he deserves. I understand that, However, there's a large portion of America, seventy million people who not only believe this was a politically motivated witch hunt, but that it doesn't matter what crime he is convicted of. And that's the problem. Donald Trump has never been the problem. Everybody gives that poor old sack of crap way too much credit. Okay, he is not the problem. He is a symptom of the problem. Hitler wasn't the problem.

There's you know, wanna be dictators or a dime a dozen the German people that allowed Hitler to happen, they were the problem. And in our country, it's not Donald Trump that's the problem. It's the people that are allowing him. And I don't just mean the rank and file American voter. I mean the powerful politicians and billionaires who truly run things in this country and are Within moments, Lindsey Graham was tweeting and showing support for the president.

Within moments, the Speaker of the House and other high ranking Republicans weren't distancing themselves from a man who just became a convicted felon, but they were lining up to drop the soap in front of him in the showers at the prison, so he could ram them. And that's the part I will never understand about Donald Trump. What magic voodoo you know in Trump Tower? Are there voodoo dolls somewhere, like down in the basement or something. Does he have

like a Lindsey Graham voodoo doll? And he threatens Lindsay that he will poke can proud him? Well, Lindsay would like it. Let me use a different example, because we know Lindsey Graham is a big S and M queen. I mean, come on, look at her, She's an S and M queen. But I mean, really, does he have some sort of magical voodoo over the GOP? Does he have like dolls of the Speaker of

the House and of high ranking you know, Marjorie Taylor Green? Does he have them in bottles where he pulls them out and starts torturing them if they don't completely and totally suck up to his butt? Because I need an explanation how people in a party that has deemed a credible American political party back a convicted felon, not indicted, convicted, seven week trial. His lawyer's got to choose the jury just like everybody else. His lawyer's got to object and

witnesses. He was not denied any constitutional right, and he was found guilty. And now he is a convicted felon and it doesn't matter, you know, to his fans, to his sycophontes, and that includes the wealthy and the educated, And that part I will never understand. How do Supreme Court justices who went through law school, who you know, they they are not dumb people. How do they line up behind this man and support him?

What is their motive? You know? I know for the wealthy, their motive is that he likes the wealthy and he'll give them tax breaks and save them money. And they have no conscience, They have no soul, and they have no allegiance. The rich, they have no allegiance to any country because they can go to any country, So they have no allegiance. If one country doesn't suit them and you didn't serve their purpose anymore, they're off to another. So I get why rich people, why do poor people support

this man? I will never understand why the GOP and seventy million poor people in America support or middle class people, or I'll never understand how what he has over them. I still't think he's got a basement full of vood Do dolls at Trump towern he's got Evanna d Ivanka down there, you know, like, Okay, Ivanka, I want you to stab such and such in the eye, you know, I mean, really, it's got to be something like that, right, I mean, what else could he have on

them? What kind of photos could he have on Lindsay Graham? Because we all know Lindsay's a closet at queer, so you know, disclosing that to the public probably wouldn't matter much. I mean, we all know there's not anyone I mean, even his most conservative supporters in Georgia have to know that he's gay. I mean, he acts dayer than I do, and that's pretty gay. So everybody, you know, it is my belief that Lindsay Graham is gay. It's a lot of people's beliefs that Lindsay Graham is gay.

Does he have photos of him, what, having sex with a twelve year old or a horse or what? I don't you know, I don't get why Lindsey Graham, who was anti Trump, is now defending him after his conviction of thirty four felonies. Well at least one person in the GOP

has conviction. Ha ha, oh wait you mean convictions. Never mind, But truly I don't understand how the Speaker of the House, the person third in line for the presidency, could go down to the court and support this man, and now that he's been convicted and is a convicted felon, still lines up behind him. This is the party, my whole life that called me immoral. This is the party that is still rallying giggins drag queens.

There are five hundred and fifteen anti LGBTQ pieces of legislation in the various state houts across the country that the ACLU is keeping track of, five hundred and fifteen, and every single one of them championed by the GOP. This is a group that was so afraid of me getting married, let alone getting laid, but getting married, that they've spent billions all told in try to trying

to prevent me from getting married. And now they're trying to overturn the verdict that allowed me to get married because of the Bible, because of morality. You know, Christ was many things, but he was not a convicted felon. You know, Yes, the Jews convicted him heresy or whatever. But you know what that we that, you know, it wasn't It wasn't like this Christ wasn't caught stealing from the temple. He wasn't. You know.

He didn't bezel anything, he didn't forge any documents. And while he preached forgiveness, That's not why these Christians follow Donald Trump. They followed Donald Trump because he plays into their bigotry and their hatred and their xenophobia. And I just keep thinking, so does every other member of the GOP. He's not unique in that they're all racists, bigoted, white. You know, they're not religious. They say they are to get votes and they meet with religious

leaders and such, but they're not religious. They have no soul. You'd have to have a soul to be religious. And one thing those white Republicans ain't got is soul. Honey. Have you seen them dance? So yeah? No. So I want you all to not be happy. I know that sounds odd because you know most of you were overjoyed yesterday, but I want you to temper that because A don't know what he's going to be sentenced to for where you or I are sentencing would be like the next day.

But and b it's not going to move the dial in the election. People are still going to think that Donald Trump is a better choice to run the United States, that putting him back in the highest office of the land is okay. Well, because Joe Biden's old, you know, I'd rather take an old Democrat than a convicted Republican. Now there's a t shirt, but it's the truth. You know, at least Joe Biden hasn't been convicted of thirty four felonies, at least not yet. Donald Trump gets his way,

you know. So it's a strange time where we can't be happy that justice has prevailed because we know it won't mean anything. You know, if this were a Democrat on trial, and a Democrat had just been convicted, they would be out talking about how fabulous the courd system is, how the judge is a hero, how justice has prevailed. They would love the criminal justice system. If a Democrat had been convicted today, if Hillary or Barack Obama

or Joe Biden or Hunter Biden, whatever, they would be joyous. They'd be singing the praises of the justice system. But because it's their guy, it's a fake trial. It's all of ours. It's a there's no rule of law. It's all politically. I mean, Trump said yesterday that this is the Biden administration. The Biden administration had nothing to do with it, but he's out there saying they did. So be happy, but don't be too happy because in the long run, as horrible as this is, it

doesn't matter. Hey, Corell here, and I'd like to take a moment to thank all the patrons of Patreons. It means the absolute world to me and the show. And let's keep the party going as long as we can. So let me be phrased. It does matter, but it doesn't matter to the people that we need it to matter to. You know, we need the people who support him to back away from

him and say, no, this is just too much. You know, he's maybe I like it, maybe I like his pap, but he's he is a felon. We're not going to put a convicted felon in the White House. But we have had such a low in this country. If you ask anybody, should we put a convicted felon in the White House, they would probably say, well, there's been so many of them already, because there are a group of people in this country that think every president is a

grifting, you know, guilty of some sort of crime person. That's that's what they think. That's how lowly regarded the offense of presidency is by so many people in this country. And while it matters to you and I, and it matters to people who want to see the rule of law carried out, you know, equally to everyone. It needs to matter to the rank and file independent voter, to the rank and file you know, GOP voter. That's who it needs to matter to. And it needs to matter to

the GOP itself as a party. I mean, Trump is the sword that they're willing to die on because the GOP is becoming more and more irrelevant as a party, and the death rolls are everywhere, you know, and perhaps in two or three election cycles there won't be a GOP. They'll be down with OPP and so and so. As much as I want this to matter, and it is historical, it certainly matters politically, but it's nothing more than really something for the Hittree books. A. He's probably not going to

go to jail. I don't see Marshan putting him in jail. B. It's not going to change the votes of his rank and file voters, particularly in swing states where we need it to matter. So what does it do? I'd love to hear your comments down below. I know you're all very happy about it, but what does it actually do? I'd like for you to comment down below at YouTube dot com forward slash really Correll or at patreon dot com forward slash reallycarell. Where my patrons keep this show going the computer

the show is powered by that. You know, my patrons are the bomb. I would very much like to hear from you about what you think, not about your joy or how you're glad that justice is playing out. I know all that. What do you think it is going to do in the grand scheme of things? Yes, it's one more thing for Biden during the debates, I don't think Biden should debate a convey felon. How low have we sunk that the seated president of the United States, in order to keep

his seat, has to debate a convicted felon. I wouldn't do it. Once the conviction came in, I would have canceled the debate saying a United States president does not debate a convicted felon. You know, part of the reason we look down on the office is because people in the office don't behave presidentially. And I love Joe Biden, God bless him. He's a nice man, but he gives far too much credibility to Donald Trump. I'm not saying he should discount him you know, and I don't worry about him,

No, he should worry about him. But to dignify a debate. You know, huge Hollywood stars when they're choosing someone to be their co star, very seldom is an unknown chosen. It's happened, But very seldom does Brad Pitt's love interest end up being you know, Margaret Blue from you know, Coast to Mesa. You know who's done community theater and it's fabulous, but hasn't only made a movie and all that. You know that just that kind

of doesn't happen. And part of that is because when you reach a certain level of success, you're expected to behave in a certain way. When you are the president of one of the greatest countries in the world, the notion that you would debate a convicted felon, there's something else I want you to comment down below. What do you think it's going to do? And do

you honestly believe that Joe Biden should debate a convicted felon for president? If that's the best the GOP has to offer, I would simply say, if that's their best candidate, oh well, we'll meet at the polls. But I'm not going to dignify the stage. I am the president of the United States. I am not going to walk out on stage and debate a convicted felon. I'm not gonna do it. And that's the Joe Biden I want.

I want Joe Biden with some fire in his belly. I want him to say that man is a convicted felon and he's got three more trials. I am the president. I have never been convicted of anything. I am not going to go and debate this man. There's nothing he has to say that I want to hear. But oh no, then he'd be called this. Then he'd be called that. He'd win props in my book, So do you think he should debate still? Now that Trump has been found guilty

of felony charges, thirty four of them. If one wasn't enough, what do you think leave the messages down below on this Friday or Saturday or whenever you're listening, Because yes, I did a happy dance. I thought it was going to be not guilty. I really believed. I'm like, oh God, they're going to find him not guilty or they're going to deadlock, and it's he's gonna use it as a win, but he used the guilty verdict doesn't win. This is corrupt, this is wrong, this is a

witch hunt. We're going to appeal. The true verdicts will come on November fifth. They are already discounting this verdict by saying the real verdict will be from the American people on November fifth. No, it was from twelve people who already voted on you, and they voted guilty. There is already an election to Donald Trump yesterday by twelve jurors, and they voted guilty unanimously. And some had to like him, you know. It wasn't like twelve people

who hate him. Some had to like him. Oh what a mess on this Friday. I don't think it's gonna matter. I don't think that he's gonna lose one vote. And that's the sad. You know, I've been so sad for America of late, and I want to get back to being the Correll that doesn't talk about what I can't do, like, oh, I can't do a lot of entertainment because of X y Z, And just go out and do a lot in entertainment. You know, I'd just die

trying. You know, I don't want to be the cant or these are the reasons why this can't happen, or this is I don't want to be that person. I don't so I don't want to walk around walk around feeling sad for America all the time. I'd like to feel good in one or two departments about the country, but I just can't because there's so much sad. For instance, like the GOP strategist who us on TV when the verdict

came in, I was talking to theater or Steve or somebody. Everybody called me and I said to my to them, I said, you know, this is all great theater, but it does nothing to lower rents. It does nothing to lower the cost of eating out. It does nothing to lower the price of groceries. It does nothing to lower the price of gas. It does nothing to fight climate change. It does nothing to address and fix

them graation problem. It does nothing to affect gay rights. It really doesn't have any bearing on my life, and if you're completely honest, it has no bearing on yours. It really doesn't because it doesn't change the outcome of the of the upcoming election. Because people that are going to vote for him are are They're not going to change their mind. He was so profound when he said he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and not be you know,

not have it matter. He was right because he's a cult leader and this is not going to matter to the cult. And this just proves they're a cult. Any American would back away from him. Now, this proves that MAGA and the GOP is not an American party. They're not. The GOP does not love America, does not respect its rules and values, does not even want what most Americans want. Equality, prosperity, you know, taking care of the planet, taking care of each other. The GOP wants none

of that because they're not American. They don't like Americans. They only like rich people. And to them, rich people are not from any one country. That's all they like. They don't like you and I. They don't like their own base. Their base is suffering, opioid addicted, welfare collecting, social Security, disability whatever, medicaid collecting, individuals, obese, dying planet. They don't love their constituents. They just want their vote. But

they don't care for them. Oh, they lie to them. And their constituents are so idiotic that they believe that they care for them. But they don't. The evidence is, you know, everywhere that they do. The GOP does not care about America. They they really do not, you know. And it's sad that this man that's in charge of the GOP, this convicted felon, does have no love for the country at all. I'bout choked when he said, Oh, but constitution has been trampled today. This man

wants to tear up the constitution. So I'd like to hear comments down below. Oh and I'm gonna start something new. If you want to call me and leave me a voicemail to be heard on the show, the number to do it is seven oh two eight five oh oh five oh seven. If you'd like to leave a voicemail to be aired on the show, seven O two eight five oh five O seven. That's seven O two eight five oh

oh five oh seven. You can also send a text message to that number and I will the next day or the next show, I will put your comments on. We'll have a special section where we take comments from you guys, because I'd like more interaction. So you can text or call seven O two eight five oh five oh seven and give me your thoughts. You can also leave them down below in the comments here on YouTube dot com, forward slash Really Correll, or at Patreon Patreon dot com forward slash Really Corell.

All right, before we go, I want to tell you about the shirt. Okay, before we go, This shirt is sentimental to me. I was doing the show at the Hotel Nico at the bathroom and my producer and her mother came. She was new, she was young, and right before the show, the black shirt that I had something happened to it and I was panic stricken. It was like an hour before showtime. I needed a black shirt for the outfits that I had, didn't have one, and I

didn't have time to go get one. So her and her mom went to some store in Union Square, I think Macy's in San Francisco and brought me back this shirt and it was one of the kindest things that anyone has done for me, and just helped me out of a jam. I was alone with Angel at the time, my little girl Angel, because she was diabetic and had to travel with me, and you know, I just I couldn't

go get any clothing. I was got to go out there fricking shirtless and I would have, but they went and they bought this shirt for me and I've kept it ever since. So this shirt, let's say, kgl my god, I've lived, moved ten twelve years. This shirt is like twelve years old, and it's a little afraid around, you know, it's a little afraid. It's got some wear and tear, but it's it's a sign of love to me. It's a sign that her mother loved my show,

loved me and wasn't about to have me not have a black shirt. And she went and bought it for me and brought it back to the hotel room and I was just so touched. And so I'm wearing it today because I've been feeling down for the last couple of days and even the Trumpert picked me up a little bit. It did. But Thursday was kind of bad day for me, and Wednesday night was really bad. So all of that was happening, and then Thursday at the park at Desert Breeze, I got accosted

by a homeless person. I had called park police. They were coming their third day in a row because I called them every day that there's tent. There were getting to be too many tents there. It was starting to be an encampment. There were three tents, and so we got it down to one tent and I called and said, there's still one tent here, and

now there's someone next to them with just stuff everywhere. You know, you can be homeless, but putting all of your stuff like everywhere over a twenty thirty foot area and it's just all crap, you know, bicycle frames and tires and sheets and bed sheets and porta potties whatever, it's just crap. It's stuff that you shouldn't have on display. So I walked by them and I said, park police are coming. They have been called your stuff. I said shit. I said, your shit is everywhere. You should pick

it up because they're coming and you'll be cited for this. So I'm giving you warning that if you like your stuff, you know that you should pick it up. Because well, that was it, and I was kind about it. I said, look, your shit's everywhere, you should pick it up. Park police is coming, you know. And what is this woman in this bikini top? Do starts calling me faggot and queer. She knows my dog's name and says she should kill ember. She starts picking up things

near her and brandishing them. As a weapon. I called nine one one. I said, I'm sick of this. So they came and they arrested her, but she was out Thursday night. I'm sure. And now I'm probably not going to go back to Desert Breeze, a park I've been to every morning for six years, because I don't want to deal with that. But the sadness that I feel for America is about there's nowhere that I could move. There's no American city that I could move to where I'm not going

to encounter homeless people. And now homeless people are attacked. In Los Angeles in the Venice Canals, two women were attacked, ages fifty three and sixty. They were sexually molested by a homeless person and now the sixty year old is being taken off life support. They were just walking their dogs. This just happened. Also in La a homeless man was standing on the side of the freeway throwing rocks into traffic, large rocks. He hit a motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist went down. Homeless people are now starting to attack people, and we're almost powerless against them. And you know, on this subject, I turn into a conservative Republican. I say round them up, put them in FEMA camps. And if they don't want to be in a FEMA camp, put them in jail. If they want to get off the street and clean up and get a job, help them do that. If they need medical help, give them to give it to them. If they any help they

need, give them. But make them live in a FEMA camp and not in our parks and not on our streets. It's time to round them up. They're like cockroaches. I hate to say that homeless are like cockroaches, but they are. They're multiplying. You can't seem to get rid of them, and they're becoming dangerous. And so being attacked by a homeless person by for just telling them to pick up their stuff because the police are coming.

Having an hour long call where I was yelled and screamed at, going through the fear monster of self doubt, and because everything has changed in today's world for entertainers, for everybody, we're all just trying to make our way. I've been having some down days and so I put on this shirt to make myself feel loved and to make myself and I cried about that because Daniel Charleston, who died would have said, do you need a trip to the mall? How many of you sometimes need a trip to the mall? Let me

explain what that means. In the movie Soap Dish, we had Sally Field's character whenever she felt insecure because she was aging on a soap opera, Whoopi Goldberg, her producer would take her to a mall where she would be thronged by fans because that's where a lot of her fans, soap opera fans were older women, and it would boost her morale. And so whenever I would feel like I've been feeling the last couple of days, Daniel would say to me, and this is what he would say to me, Now, do

we need to go to the mall? And it just meant, do you need your ego boosted? Do you need to feel good about yourself? Because you've been feeling down about yourself? And I kind of do, I kind of need a pick me up. I got a letter from an old KG A listener who still listens now an artist. I followed them on Instagram and they just said the kindest things. They said, you should have a position at the White House. You know, you say things that no one will

say. And a lot of you have been commenting that under under the YouTube videos that like, I listened to you because you just say stuff that no one else will say. And you're funny and you're this and you're that, and believe me, sometimes that's all I've got to make myself feel good about myself. So uh yeah, all right, I'm gonna go. Yeah. I thank you all for this shortened week. I'm glad Donald Trump was in fact convicted of thirty four counts felony counts. I'd like to hear from you

down below what you think that means. You know, what do you think it matters? I I kind of don't. I don't think it's gonna move the dial for the election. Uh so we'll we'll see, but I'd like to hear your thoughts, and don't forget. You can call seven oh two eight five oh five oh seven, or you can text seven oh two eight five oh oh five oh seven. That is not my personal number, by the way, that's a Google Voice number that I have set up just for

this. It doesn't ring my phone, it doesn't. You know. I get an email when you send a text, So go ahead and text me or call me with your how you feel about the Donald Trump conviction and how whether you feel it will matter or not. Also tell me what your mall is. What do you do when you need to boost your spirits? You know? What do you do? You know? Do you talk to a friend? Do you go someplace like cheers where everybody knows your name? What

do you do? What's your mall? I'd love to hear from you. I am Corel, be who you want to be. Son, doesn't hurt anybody. Have a great weekend.
