I think I have the number one reason why the progressive message just isn't winning. And the eating strategy that really works is it? Keita? What is it? And don't wait? How I learned an important lesson today? All on the Correl Cast Uncensored, Unfiltered, Unhinged, Baulcast. Listen daily on your favorite streaming service. It is the Grelcast. I am Correll, Happy Wednesday, So very glad you are joining me. You lived through Monday and

Taco Tuesday and now here you are all right. This morning, I was having a very interesting conversation with a friend of mine who is the actual vice president of marketing for a Hispanic media network, and we got into the conversation about why liberals and the progressives which have a good message, Okay, they want good things, and why isn't that winning, in particular in the Hispanic community where the number one growth is conservatism and republicanism, which goes against their

own self interest and everything that they should want. And yet in places like Florida and Texas and other states, the conservative message is reaching the Hispanic community. And you know, we had a very lengthy discussion about it, and I wanted to share that with you, because it's the reason why there's going to be a problem come twenty twenty four in the general and why we could lose the House and send it at a time when all GOP should be thrown

out of government. You know, there should be no one voting for anyone in the GOP. But why, why is for instance, we know that rural America, Why is rural America more conservative? And I know the answer, and it's and it's been the answer for decades and decades and decades, and yet liberals and progressives won't learn, They will not take a page from the conservative playbook. They just act like this isn't a problem, and yet

it is their number one problem. What is it? What do you think is the progressives number one problem when it comes to why they're losing elections or why there's a risk of them losing elections. Do you really think it's voter suppression? Do you think it's that not enough progressives or liberals can get to the polls and vote? Is that what you think, because that's what they'd

have you think. No, that is not it at all. And I don't know if there's just no one inside the Democratic Party or any of the other parties that aren't MAGA. I don't know if there just isn't anyone inside that have thought of this, or if they just ignore it, or why

they don't pay more attention. And you know what that is. I'm gonna tell you, But before I do, I want you to know you need to like and you need to subscribe to this video on YouTube, YouTube dot com, forward slash really Correll or at my website which has everything on it really Correll dot Com. Okay. Also download the Correll Media app. Just go to any app store type in ka r el Media and there pull it up and you will have everything. We're even gonna add Vegan in Vegas into

the Correl cast of the Correl Media app. So be sure you get the Correll Media App. It's free, okay, and we don't collect data, none of that. And then my shows flow in the video flows in the columns. It all is there, all right. There is a conservative media company called vas Media, and they are buying up Hispanic radio stations and Hispanic TV stations by the dozens every week, and they are programming conservative programming.

Let me tell you why conservative media won the talk radio Wars. And they did because when I got into talk radio in the nineties, a very targeted and orchestrated campaign was already under way by well funded conservative media companies and hedge funds. And that was by every radio station that you could in every smaller market, not La, not San Francisco, not in New York, not Seattle, not at first, by every radio station you could in Poughkeepsie,

in you know, wherever, in whatever small they called they're called. Okay, So radio and television is broken into P one, P two, P three. P one markets are the markets like La and San Francisco and all of that. P two markets are the bigger cities, but you know, they're not La or San Francisco or Seattle. They're big, but they're not

that's like Denver. And then there's P three, which are the itty bitty markets that have you know, ten thousand people, twenty thousand people, fifty thousand people, rural stations where there's only one radio station within hundreds of miles.

And in the eighties, late eighties and then into the nineties, well funded Republican media companies bought all of these radio stations and small TV stations like Sinclair Broadcasting, which is a Christian conservative broadcasting company and owns most of Las Vegas. Las Vegas is a great example. The radio stations and the TV stations in Las Vegas are owned by conservative media companies. Thus were in a red state purple at best. So then these conservatives that owned these stations found

people like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck. We could go down the list, Michael Medbed, Dennis Prager, and they put their shows. They paid these people to do shows from a centralized location, and they syndicated these shows out to these smaller stations, and they didn't have to make money. Okay, Glenn Beck didn't worry about ratings, Michael Medbed, Dennis Prager. They didn't worry about ratings. It was never about ratings. It was about getting the

conservative message out there and being the only message heard in those markets. And look what happened. Soon they got so many stations in the P three and the P two markets, they were able to leverage those assets and buy stations in the P one markets, the KTOK Los Angeles, or media companies like

clear Channel that they ended up on Cumulus. They ended up buying the large media companies like CNN and making them conservative and so the only message that people that turned to broadcast, television, to radio, and now to streaming, the only message available was a conservative message by conservative host, conservative programming,

conservative news departments. Okay, news departments were a slant of conservative bias, but it didn't matter because they owned so many and they didn't care about profits. They paid their host well and still do. And when they're hosts like Glenn Beck or whatever would write a book, these conservative think tanks buy up all the copies, so it charts on the New York Times. Oh look, a New York Times bestseller from Dennis Prager. A New York Times bestseller

from you know, and culture. And really they're not selling that many books, but they are because conservative think tanks are buying them and then just giving them out, just handing them out at events. The conservatives are winning because they're winning the media war, and now they're fighting it in the Hispanic community, which has always voted left in democratic Now they are trying to turn that tide by buying the media companies. Buying companies maybe like the one my friend

works at. We don't know, but you know, they could buying stations in Miami, in Fort Lauderdale, in Tampa, in Allen, Texas, in border towns in Texas, buying these radio stations, buying these small television stations and putting their message on it. Liberals are not doing it. Why George Soros doesn't buy like the one my friend works at. Why doesn't he buy that company and then suddenly own fifty or one hundred Hispanic radio stations.

Progressives rely upon traditional media to get their message out instead of controlling the media. For some reason, it's not in the progressive DNA to try to control the message by owning radio stations, television stations, streaming media companies. They rely on their message and their guests and their people to get on those and spread the words, or they buy ad time on the They don't invest where they go we go. If you're not visiting really correll dot com daily,

you're missing out. Get the podcast videos and the blug including recipes at really Carrell dot com. That's really ka r e l dot com. Uncensored, unfiltered, unhinged correllcast. I think that is Correll, and I think that message bears repeating. Before we talk about eating strategies that work, and why most of them don't. You know, liberals and progressives do not invest in getting their message out there. For instance, why should my podcast struggle?

You know, Glenn Beck never had to worry about a dime whether he had one listener or a million. They pay him well all along, and they got him listeners. They went out and they promoted him, they put him on billboards, they did everything they needed to do. He didn't do that. You know, Premier Radio Networks did that for Glenn Beck, and they're

owned by conservatives. Why don't liberals support you know, David Packman, Stephanie Miller, Tom Hartman, myself, why don't and even the people I have seventy patrons on Patreon, for which I am forever grateful, Why don't I

have seven hundred? Do you think these conservative podcasters like Charlie Kirk or that other one, I forget his name, he's Ben Shapiro, they are rolling in cash even when they don't have a ton of listeners because the ones that they have are dedicated and give them money to keep the message going because they hear a message they like and they support it. Progressive and liberals do not. I am number two oh four in the United States today on the Apple

Podcast chart. You don't get there by not having listeners. I'm number one ninety three in Canada. You don't get there by not having listeners. Someone is listening to this show, but only seventy think it's important enough to support it. It's the same thinking. Hispanic community is up for grabs right now. They will go with the people that show up. Who shows up conservatives. Conservatives are buying their media companies are buying their TV stations right now as

we speak. In Hispanic media. The largest buyer of Hispanic media stations, both television and radio and streaming our conservatives because they want that market. Don't progressives want their message out there? Do they really think that MSNBC is enough? It's not. Why don't rich progressives support media companies that promote their agenda? Do they want to be seen as unbiased? This is not the time for unbiased. This is the time to be biased. They always talk about

how the nation is at stake. Every progressive and liberal talks about how the nation is at stake, but they won't even pony up five dollars to one of their favorite podcasts to make sure the message stays going. There are millionaires in California who could totally fund I'm well heard in the Bay Area. One of you listening to me right now has more than a million dollars. I

know one of you listening does. One of you could invest a hundred two hundred, three hundred thousand dollars in my show and help it expand, get the advertising that it needs, get the equipment that it needs, get the marketing and production that it needs. You could totally do it. You don't the differences conservatives do. And that's why they're gonna win. And it's not because their message is better. It's not because their hosts are better. It's

not because they own the biggest television stations and such. But it's because the ones they do own are the only thing that these people here. And when that's all you hear, that's what you believe. When all you turn on the radio and you turn to eight different stations and it's all playing the same

message. When you go to five different podcasts and they're all saying the same thing, When the only successful podcast that you see are people like Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro and Dennis Prager, and you know that Ben Boguno there, whatever is Dan Bugino or whatever. When those are the only successful billboards that you see or ads that you see in print, then you listen and you go and you get brainwashed to believe what they believe. Progressives could easily win.

They have a great message, diversity, inclusion, equity, equality, women's rights, climate change issues. They are talking all the right talk, but they're talking to nobody because they won't invest. It takes money. It takes media stations that have money. KGO would still be on the air if progressives had bought it and actually invested in it and kept it on the air.

Green nine sixty in San Francisco would still be a progressive station if progresses with money had supported it, didn't care if it had ratings or not, just supported it. We don't. All right, let's move on, because you know that's I mean, look, it is what it is. You know, as I said, I'm grateful for the seven hundred bucks a month I get from seventy patrons on people. Why isn't that seven thousand a month.

That's what Ben Shapiro's making. That's what Charlie Kirk's making. That's what these right wing Christian evangelicals that go out there and preach just hatred towards everybody. They're running megachurches and progresses with message like mine. We're over here dying on the vine because we don't get the support from other progressives. And I don't mean Reagan file, progressives on disability or you know, I mean the ones with money, the people that make a couple hundred thousand dollars a year

or more. I know you're listening to me, I know my demographics. Where's your thousand dollars a month support just because you like my message? Where's your donation of ten grands so I can go buy new computers to upgrade the show? Where where is that? Because conservatives get that like that, we don't. Where is a a millionaire out buying Hispanic media stations to get the progressive message out into Hispanic media. You just expect them to vote your way.

They're not gonna They're going to vote the way that they hear, all right. You know, a friend of mine today said he downloaded an app that's going to help him intermittent fast and I said, intermittent fasting doesn't work. It's been debunked, just like Keto has been debunked, just like high protein, low carb not sustainable, been debunked, okay, And I started thinking to myself, you know, there's so many fads, and there's so

many people telling you this is the way to eat. And yet for the last seven years since I became a vegan, I have studied everything there is to study. I have talked to nutritionists, I have talked to cardiologists, I have talked to dietitians. I have talked to so many medical professionals about what we should be doing. And I know I know what we should be doing, how we should be eating. I stand before you someone has lost one hundred plus pounds, and now I know I have thirty to lose again,

and I know how to do it. And because I have talked to the doctors, I have talked to the best specialist in the world, people that some of you could never access. I've spoken to and they've all said the same thing. So what is it? What should you be doing diet wise? First, let's talk calories. For me to lose weight, I need eighteen hundred calories a day. Okay, that's it. Your calorie intake

is different, and you can figure that out on the web. You put in how much you weigh how much you want to weigh, and it tells you how many calories a day you should eat. So let's go with my number eighteen hundred. All right, so what should I do? It's really easy, and this is the secret. You don't really need an app other than an app to count your calorie from your food. And you must measure

your food. You must log everything you eat, at least for a month or two, so you know how many calories are in what a serving looks like. Once you get trained in that, you don't need to be quite so measury anymore because you'll know what a tablespoon of something looks like or what half a cup of something looks like. So the first thing to do is to measure everything. Okay, so let's say, with eighteen hundred calories,

what and when should I eat? It's so simple. You don't need an app, you don't need intermittent fasting, you don't need to stand on your head until you're blue. You don't need to, you know, eat small things every half hour and then not eat for to No, it's really simple what you must do. Would you like to know? Do you want to know how to eat properly? For the rest of your life, how to maintain your weight loss or how to continue to lose it? Do you want

to know? Because I gave this information this morning to my friend and he didn't want it. He's content to stick with his app. He thinks the app knows better. Do you want to know? Make your device a whole lot smarter? Get the correl Cast damp free at the app store of your choice now uncensored, unfiltered, unhinged the correl Cast. So what have we learned so far? We've learned that the progressive message doesn't win because progressives don't

get it out there. They don't with their pockets. They don't buy radio stations, they don't buy television stations, they don't buy streaming media companies. They do not financially support podcasters who are spreading the message. They just don't. Oh, rank and file progressives might those of you on disability or you know, the people out we're making fifty seventy eighty K a year, Yeah, you support it. But the ones with the money, the actual money,

they do not. Meanwhile, on the other side, they do. They buy up the stations, they pay the host well to get out a message. They don't bother the host about ratings. It's just about the message. And now I'm going to tell you how to eat. So let's say you you're supposed to take in let's say fifteen hundred calories for those of you that aren't large like me, and you only have to you know, to lose weight, you need fifteen hundred calories. So well, how do you

eat? First of all, you start eating at six am in the morning and you stop eat at six pm at night. No excuses, No, Oh but my work schedule. Oh but I don't eat in the morning. No, No, you wake up and at six o'clock. It could be five o'clock to five o'clock, four o'clock to four o'clock, six o'clock to six o'clock. But there's a twelve hour window in which you eat, starting with breakfast. And let's say you're on a fifteen hundred calorie a day diet.

Breakfast four hundred calories, lunch four hundred calories, dinner four hundred calories, two snacks at ten o'clock and three o'clock one hundred and fifty calories. That's fifteen hundred calories. So you eat a good breakfast that should include fruit and fibers, so oatmeal and fruit or something like that. At six am four hundred calories. At ten am, one hundred and fifty calorie snack,

nuts, trail mix, protein bars, another piece of fruit. At noon lunch four hundred calories, and that should be a no processed foods, no fast food, no drive through. Okay, four hundred calorie lunch. Three o'clock in the afternoon with your tea. Another one hundred and fifty calorie snack, and again that can be bel vitas. It can be you know, fruits, nuts, dried fruits, protein bars, you know, whatever you want, so long as it's not processed food. It can even be dark

chocolate a hundred and fifty calories. And then dinner four hundred calories. That's it. After six o'clock at night. Nothing. I don't care how hungry you get. I don't care that you're out evening a late dinner. You know, when I lost all the weight and got down to one eighty five, if I went out to friends at eight dinner at seven or eight, I would go with them and I would not eat because I would not eat

past six sometimes seven. If I was late in the morning and didn't have breakfast, or if I knew I was going to go out to dinner, then I'd start my breakfast at seven, do my lunch at one, and then eat again with friends at seven, do my snacks at eleven and at four, and that's it. It's not brain surgery. You don't need an app. You don't eat intermet and fIF and keto that And what kind of

food do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks. A Mediterranean diet plant based, which is high in nuts and beans and fresh leafy vegetables, fruits, and yes, if you want to eat meat, then make it fish Pescterian. And if you want to eat dairy, make it things that are good dairy, like Greek yogurt. You know, things like that that have orobiotics in it, Greek yogurt. Keep the cheeses to a minimum. Okay, I say all plant based vegan. That is the best way.

According to science, the Mediterranean diet is the best. The DASH diet ranks one hundred percent, and that Dash diet is basically a low sodium filled with fruits, vegetables beans. On the Dash diet they do eat fish, very lean poultry and some dairy which is again Greek yogurts, you know that sort of stuff, low fat cheeses. And that's it. That there's the

formula. Find your calories per day, divide that by three meals and leave room for three hundred calories and snacks one hundred and fifty twice a day, and that's it, and then eat within a twelve hour window six am to six pm. That way, from six pm to six am, you're fasting for twelve hours and you're sleeping for about seven or eight of those. So it's not that terrible, because yes, your body does like a fast, that's why it's called breakfast. Break the fast, fast from dinner until breakfast,

don't intermittent fast throughout the day. You know what happens when you deprive your body of calories. When you get calories, it stores them as that because you've been depriving it of calories. It's not brain science. Three meals a day each around four five hundred six hundred, depending on what your calorie intake should be mine or five hundred, five hundred breakfast, five hundred, lunch, five hundred dinner, and then one hundred and fifty for two snacks.

That's eighteen hundred calories, and you eat them between six am and six pm or five am and five pm, and that's it. Have the discipline to not eat at night, and to not eat after five or six o'clock or seven o'clock. If you do seven am to seven am or eight am to eight pm, eat within a twelve hour window. Three meals and two snacks, and that's it. Let me leave you with this. This last year, I lost a dear friend of thirty years, Andrea Raderman. Her

husband Alan then took sick with a mouth cancer. His son, Reid, was helping him through it, and he was on a trial, and all kinds of good things were happening. For the last three weeks. Every time I'd come and work out every morning, I thought you should email Read or text Read to see how Alan's doing. But I didn't. I finally did this morning, and I found out that Alan died on the twenty second of March. He went off to see Andrea. Reid was very apologetic that he

hadn't texted me, but he's overwhelmed and blah blah blah. And I said to myself, see what you got for waiting so in your gut. If you keep nag getting nagged at to call somebody, to reach out to a relative or a friend.
