Yes, he's ticket a shoe.

Speaker 7

He doesn't sound that bad way we.

Speaker 3

Feel bad.

Speaker 1

The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine and Out of Time four the four things you need a heads up on to start your day.

Speaker 4

So the faith of TikTok could be decided today. The Supreme Court said they may make an announcement this morning at ten am Eastern time. That'd be coming up seven o'clock our time. They could potentially deliver a ruling on the TikTok man.

Speaker 3

We just had to go in effect on Sunday.

Speaker 4

Now, some of them did recently signal that they may uphold the Van Biden said.

Speaker 7

Biden said, he just I'm not enforcing it. I'll leave that for the next dude.

Speaker 3

Yeah, he's my problem.

Speaker 1

Yeah see yeah.

Speaker 9

Uh.

Speaker 7

If you'd like to pay your respects and celebrate the life of Oakland A's legend Ricky Henderson, the A's announced this week that there will be a celebration of life open to the public. It's gonna be on February first, from one to three pm at the Oakland Arena. Henderson died December twentieth, just days before what would have been his sixty sixth birthday on Christmas Day.

Speaker 2

Mostly Claudi's mostly cloudy vibes today, definitely snuggle weather with eyes in the high fifties to low sixties.

Speaker 1

This was smooth.

Speaker 2

Yeah sorry, can I start over?

Speaker 5

Yeah?

Speaker 2

Okay, thank you. Mostly cloudy vibes today, definitely snuggle weather with highs in the high fifties to low sixties. Your umbrella will continue to collect us because there's no rain insight.

Speaker 1

Hey, torrest besties.

Speaker 7

Your day today is going to be an eight an optacle live between you and a romantic objective. I don't know what that means. And the way gossip for rumors. Keep an open mind and stay flexible with changes. Get creative to achieve your goal.

Speaker 3

Oh I like that.

Speaker 1

What's a romantic objective?

Speaker 7

Like?

Speaker 1

What kind of goal could it be?

Speaker 2

Like?

Speaker 7

Trying some new My wife is a Taurus. I should ask girl.

Speaker 2

Oh yo, maybe she has an objective she has not talked to you about.

Speaker 7

Please talk to me about it.

Speaker 1

I'm always or anything. Yeah, we're I'm here for it.

Speaker 4

Yeah, we have tickets for the San Francisco Symphony.

Speaker 3

We're gonna have that on standby really quick.

Speaker 4

Because these are the signs you're an embarrassing parent, according to teens.

Speaker 2

YEP, listen to parents, because there's a high chance that these are some things that you're probably doing already. I mean, there's no surprise that parents embarrass their kids just with everything they do, basically because.

Speaker 1

Parents are so scibby.

Speaker 3

I thought pubty was good.

Speaker 1

What, No, it's not.

Speaker 3

I don't know. I'm just I'm just guessing. Hey, I'm guessing just like everyone else.

Speaker 2

But anyways, so, so what you guys just did right now embarrassing. If you try using the youth slang, they find that super cringe and super embarrassing. If you attempt to do any viral dance routines from TikTok or social.

Speaker 4

Media and let's stop there, will you because you said that your kid, your son Ford Graham, hope you will throw out, like give me every once in a while the words. Will you try to talk to him in like using those same words.

Speaker 1

Yeah, but I.

Speaker 7

Don't think he's at the point where he thinks that I'm embarrassing. I think you think you're cool. You gotta be yeah, I mean he's only seven. You got to start hitting the teen years where like you're really cringing middle the stuff that you're like, yeah, the stuff your parents do my kid mostly right now is bro. Everything is bro, bro Bro. If that really bugs Kate, don't call me bro. Oh my god, dude, Bro, what are you doing? Bro?

Speaker 2

And Selena?

Speaker 3

You do have a teen yes?

Speaker 4

So when I use like alpha en Sigma and rire, yes, I do that.

Speaker 3

Intentionally to be embarrassing.

Speaker 4

So I'm not doing it like seriously, like because I know, I'm not using the word where I just kind of throw them in here and there just to But she does her friends.

Speaker 2

Embarrassing of course.

Speaker 1

Oh yeah, yes, super skimmity.

Speaker 2

What about this, When these are the things that parents do to embarrass their teens, you add your your kids friends on social media?

Speaker 1

Don't do that?

Speaker 3

Well, if they follow me, you follow back?

Speaker 1

No, you don't.

Speaker 7

They follow me though, It doesn't matter why you don't follow them back?

Speaker 3

Why not we're friends?

Speaker 2

No, you're not friends.

Speaker 3

I'm not friends like that.

Speaker 4

But they come over call me mom, like I'm cool with all her friends and they follow me first. I'm not like actively like seeking out her friends, like, let me follow her friend like that.

Speaker 7

You're following a bunch of tre girls on social media. That's creepy, people, super creepy. That's very Ohio.

Speaker 2

Because if it was a dad following, well it's not. Yeah, but it kind of is.

Speaker 3

But I'm not a dad. I agree, that'd be worse.

Speaker 2

Okay. Another one is you sing along to your favorite songs at the top of your lungs. Basically, so are you? I don't know that you're singing along and you are just like belting out these lyrics. Now, I feel like this is something Graham does.

Speaker 1

Singer.

Speaker 3

I'm not either. Okay.

Speaker 2

What about posting selfies to social media?

Speaker 10

Gram?

Speaker 2

I know you you don't do that, but Selena, I.

Speaker 3

Don't post a lot of myself.

Speaker 2

I don't know.

Speaker 4

I feel like I don't take a lot of pictures of just me. When I do, it's with my husband or it's with the kids. But even that, my daughter finds so embarrassing.

Speaker 2

Really, even though she doesn't follow you on social media because she doesn't have Instagram, right.

Speaker 4

She well she does now because she does now of Instagram. She does not follow me. Okay, she doesn't want people she doesn't want her friends to find my account, even though they already have, and that's why she thinks that everything that I post is so embarrassing, so she will literally go on my account, like take my phone, go on my account and start blocking people from her school so they can't see me.

Speaker 7

Wow.

Speaker 2

How does that make you feel, Selena?

Speaker 4

I get it because they're all boys, and she's like, mom, you're just too hot.

Speaker 3

And I'm like, look, I know, I know it's fine.

Speaker 2

Like it's a blessing and a curse.

Speaker 1

I guess.

Speaker 2

Okay, what about this. Do you guys listen to the same music as your kids do?

Speaker 1

Well?

Speaker 7

Right now?

Speaker 1

My kids are forced to listen.

Speaker 2

Sorry sometimes okay, and they do they find this cringe? Does your daughter find it cringe?

Speaker 3

I she hasn't said anything. Okay, Grandma.

Speaker 2

I can't wait till your kids get to this age, because I feel like, first of all, I feel like they're gonna be so embarrassed because I feel like you give me the vibe that you're gonna do whatever is in your power to embarrass them.

Speaker 4

I feel like you just even being you, not even trying, like yeah, you just you're I'd be so embarrassed.

Speaker 3

If you were my dad.

Speaker 1

WHOA, I don't know.

Speaker 3

I can't exactly pinpoint why.

Speaker 1

I just like the coolest dad ever.

Speaker 2

I think you're two dad, very dad.

Speaker 3

Yes, maybe that's what it is.

Speaker 7

That's because I am a dad.

Speaker 1

I know I'd be embarrassed if you were my mom. Oh, so take that.

Speaker 3

You guys are just embarrassing, embarrassing.

Speaker 1

The JV Show on Wild ninety Good.

Speaker 7

Morning V Show.

Speaker 11

This is Whitley from Nevado, and I have to agree with Graham. I have a five year old that says bro to everything. His favorite is seriously bro, have a great weekend.

Speaker 3

That would drive me crea.

Speaker 7

I'm telling you the bro is the number one. And give me the most used word of this next generation, at least amongst uh you know, boys and maybe and well I guess and girls too. Like the other generations use like like and everything like, and this generation is used broo because bro, bro, like, what are we going to do? Bro?

Speaker 1

And everything is bro? So be prepared Bro.

Speaker 4

No bruh, So Bruh's out. It's Bruh's out. It's just the bros.

Speaker 2

Yeah, I didn't know bruh or however you said it was ever in why did you say it's so weird? I feel like that's how you said it.

Speaker 1

Ruh, bruh.

Speaker 2

Yeah, that's how you said it.

Speaker 3

I didn't go bruh, all right, Jessin.

Speaker 2

So customers are fed up with the male instacart shoppers do better men. Now remind me, do you guys order your groceries online?

Speaker 12

No?

Speaker 3

Sometimes?

Speaker 2

Not really, Okay, I personally never have, and I think this is one of the reasons why I don't, is because you think it's going to make your life easier, but then it ends up doing the exact opposite.

Speaker 7

Pandemic I did, okay, and I mean I want to hear the reasoning, but like, in some ways very convenient, in other ways very annoying.

Speaker 8

Okay.

Speaker 2

Yeah, So women are taking to TikTok to vent. They are just fed up because they say anytime they get a male shopper, they don't get their orders right. They make really strange substitutions to the items that they order. One woman even said that out of five items, the

male instat shopper only got one right. And that's that's annoying because you expect to, like we said, make it easier on yourself, but now you have a bunch of random items and you still need to go buy what you needed in the first place.

Speaker 3

So what is it it be mad?

Speaker 2

Is it that men don't have that much attention to detail? They men do not.

Speaker 3

Know how to grocery.

Speaker 4

Look, I'm not gonna say all men, because maybe you listening, maybe you're a great grocery shopper.

Speaker 2

But probably not.

Speaker 3

But it's rare. But it's rare.

Speaker 4

I would never the few times I have sent my man to the grocery store, he has me on FaceTime the entire time because he can't find anything. He doesn't know what we need, even though like here's the here's the list, Like yes, I mean he knows the stuff that we eat, like it should not be that difficult.

Speaker 3

But for whatever reason, men just they can't.

Speaker 7

The right times. It's sometimes when my wife has sent me with a list to the store, you get there and then see I overthink things. I'm the overthinker. She says, I need this kind of soup. Well, there's four or whatever it is. There's four different kinds of that and eight different sizes. Which one is it do you need for this recipe? Do you need the really large pan?

Do you need this small. I don't know. I need I need like very specific instructions and then I'll bat, I'll bat a thousand, I'll get every single thing.

Speaker 1

But sometimes you're sitting there debating, well did she mean that? Did she mean this size? Or did I sit there?

Speaker 7

And I would be a horrible you know, INSTACRT shopper, because I'd sit there and I don't you know, well, what would be the good substitute. I think most of those guys, they the way that they the only way they make money is instcart shopper. Is you got to fulfill a lot of orders, right, You're not making much on one, so you got to I don't know if you've ever seen them at Costco or something. I mean

they're damn near sprinting through the aisles. They run up, they look at the thing, they throw in the cart, they go. You've got to be turning orders quick, I think, is the only way that you're successfully making any you know, any decent money. So they don't have time to sit there in him in haw over this stuff. And that would be my problem because I sit there in him in haw and I overthink it because I don't want to. I want to get it right. But those guys they

don't have time to think about getting it right. They just got to get in and get out of there.

Speaker 4

Like when you order it, like on Instacart or on DoorDash, you order whatever you need and not only is there a picture like it has everything you need, it has the size, it has this mini ounce's like.

Speaker 3

It's it.

Speaker 1

I get it.

Speaker 7

I'd be good at that, except when the item is not there, then they are. Then they either have to chat you because I don't know if you do that, and then they send you a message like they're out of this, how about this? And then they send you a picture of something similar and you're like, no, I would never eat that one.

Speaker 1

How about that? And you go back and forth, and that part is annoying.

Speaker 7

Yes, so they do have to make decisions if you're not and if you're not responding right there hitting them right back, they're trying to move through the store quick and if you're not messaging back like yeah, yeah, get that.

Speaker 3

Kind then that's what I understand.

Speaker 4

And a lot of times I leave it up to them to just pick whatever substitution they want. But it would just make things easy here if you could like pick like like another mom shopper for you who.

Speaker 3

Would probably know.

Speaker 2

And you know a lot of women are saying this. They're calling for an update on the app to be able to request whether you want a female shopper or a male shopper.

Speaker 4

That's yeah, but I think you can never do that because the men, they're going to feel discriminated again, feeling.

Speaker 2

Discriminated against just talking about this, and I don't want men to feel like we're bashing them. I just feel like men can never find anything, like they just I don't know if it's they don't have that much patience. And again it's not, it's not all men, but I feel like just most of you. You tell someone like, hey, can you bring me this, and you tell them the exact spot, and then they try to say that you're the one not giving them the right directions, but it's

like no, it's right in front of your face. You just get fit.

Speaker 1

See.

Speaker 7

But I think that's the problems you sending your men to the store. I think most of these in scar shoppers, like they've been in the store, they know where this stuff is. When you get a bad one that can't find anything, yeah, I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 13

What.

Speaker 1

I don't know what the excuse is. You have one job.

Speaker 7

It's shopping, like, be good at it, gonest things, it's all.

Speaker 6

All the stuff you need to know what's hot in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories happening today in the Bay.

Speaker 3

So I just want to go back really quick to talking about how Drake is.

Speaker 4

The biggest cry baby and.

Speaker 3

The biggest hypocrite.

Speaker 4

Oh my god, I told you yesterday how we filed this lawsuit against the UMG Universal Music Group, who Kendrick.

Speaker 3

And himself are both signed with.

Speaker 4

And he's mad at UMG for allowing Kendrick to release a song not Like Us, which called him a pedophile and it defamed him. And UMG pushed this song out there right, and UMG was like, boy, bye, we pushed your music too, whenever you were in these little rad battles. How dare you try to stop somebody else's creative expression. Well, now this there's a bunch of streamers and YouTubers who were also.

Speaker 3

Name dropped in the lawsuit. Drake made the claim that.

Speaker 4

UMG removed copyright restrictions from YouTube and Twitch to allow these content creators to be able to react to Kendrick's song as soon as it dropped in to be able to play the the song in their videos without without getting any like demonetization or any violations, I guess them against them. So you play any other song, it's gonna get flagged. You can copyright violation, but not like Gus drops and it was all green light.

Speaker 3

They were they were good to go. So Drake is like, you m G. And you what you were doing. You were basically, you know, behind this campaign to defame me.

Speaker 4

Well, now Drake is upset the entire YouTube community and all these really big streamers they are blasting Drake. They're calling him soft, they're calling him a baby, no streak, crag, like, don't upset the streaming community like they were on your side. And these people, these are guys who are so influential on the Internet and they have.

Speaker 3

Receipts they're they're showing Drake.

Speaker 4

But when you drop this song against Kendrick, look here we played it on this in this video here and I didn't get flagged.

Speaker 3

You did the same thing. UMG did the same thing for you.

Speaker 2

You do it and not for their own artists like they want their artists who do good and that is exactly their argument.

Speaker 4

Even u Kai Sinat or Sonnat Snat, I don't believe you yes to one of those. He even showed a DM that he got from Drake when he was like on the stream and Drake was about to drop a song, and Drake had messaged him and was like, hey, stay on the stream, no songs coming out because he wanted the streamers to play it. But when they do that for Kendrake, it's a problem.

Speaker 7

I just don't get what. Why What's Drake's end goal here? Like, does he He's gonna recoup some damages and money if like he sues them and gets some money.

Speaker 3

You don't need the money, I honestly that's the thing.

Speaker 1

It's this is a bad look.

Speaker 4

I honestly feel like he is trying to get Kendrick to not be able to perform that song at the super Bowl.

Speaker 2

Interesting, that's my point because other than that, it doesn't really benefit him at all.

Speaker 4

Like you're gonna want some money that you already have, Like, who cares? I honestly think that's what it's about.

Speaker 7

You can't be financially motivated because he doesn't need the money exactly.

Speaker 3

Graham, what do you have all right.

Speaker 7

People are roasting SpaceX and Elon Musk for their explanation about what happened yesterday during the launch of their Starship rocket. The launch was the seventh test flight for this very huge, very heavy rocket. This is the one where at the landing pad the booster part of the rocket comes back down to Earth and they try to catch it. And they have you seen that before. I've heard that comes back and relands and they well, that part actually was

a success, which is pretty crazy. That part's incredible, But the spacecraft itself basically exploded as it was reaching space, Falling debris from it from this destroyed Starship briefly delayed airline traffic out of Miami, Florida, according to federal officials, Well Musk and SpaceX. They took to x Twitter and said, quote Starship experienced a rapid unscheduled disassembly.

Speaker 1

During it's a scent burn.

Speaker 7

Teams will continue to review data from today's test flight to better understand the root cause and everyone's bro A rapid unscheduled disassembly like it blew up. The thing blew up, it exploded, is what happened. It's not a rapid unscheduled disassembly.

Speaker 1

That's the funniest thing I've ever heard.

Speaker 3

Anytime something blows up. That's what we got to start.

Speaker 7

Yeah, explode, blew up. It's a rocket. It blew up. Sorry it didn't work. It didn't have a rapid unscheduled disassembment.

Speaker 3

What are you doing in the bathroom? Oh, I just had a wrap it scheduled disasse.

Speaker 1

I gotta go fund some new unfirth.

Speaker 7

There was a rapping up scheduled disassembly.

I think it was the ople ones, and then I saw another one that I guess I don't even know how to explain the shape, but it's almost like a pentagon. No octagon, no hexagon, parallelogram, no triangle, trapezoid, heart, No, it's a cushion cut.

Speaker 1

Oh wait, what cushion cut? That's a popular Yeah, good morning guys.

Speaker 2

Speaker 2

Don't tell my boyfriend, but I was looking at dresses online. I just got curious about all the different sizes I was looking. You guys, I will ready dress or well, honestly, let's be where I have a bit of a shopping problem. So any sort of dresses but wedding included, and they're really expensive.

Speaker 3

Oh my god, yes, but they're so cute.

Speaker 2

So I think when the time comes, I'm not going to be able to really decide what i want to go with. To be honest, That's why I'm like, I'm excited and i do want to get married, but I'm in no rush because I'm I'm kind of scared of the whole wedding planning.

Speaker 4

Can I ask Gramma question, sure, do you guys think it's a little bit psycho for a woman who has not even gotten proposed to just be looking at wedding dresses and planning out the wedding or do they understand like, hey, we're just we're just dreaming, we're just waiting for that day.

Speaker 7

I think we understand it as long as it doesn't come to the surface, like on our third date, you know, got I gotta want to hear about the wedding plans. We just we're still getting to know each other.

Speaker 4

And I'd be like, and you guys, you and your man have been together for a long time.

Speaker 2

Yes, Like maybe it would be if I already had the wedding dress, Like if I had already bought it, then I understand.

Speaker 7

You just attacked some ladies in the Bay air even know there's you know, there's someone listening that already has the dress and not the man.

Speaker 2

Guarantee manifestation at its final right, it's on.

Speaker 1

My vision board, it is. It's definitely on your vision board, all right.

Speaker 7

But he was the only person that just said dresses this morning, and that was the word. We had a lot of guesses. Most people were on rings. A few people guess wedding venues. Have you checked out a wedding venue prior to.

Speaker 1

Get an engaged Joe?

Speaker 2

I know where I would want to get married, and I've talked about this with my boyfriend actually, so we know it go that is a little psycho about it together and we both agree, well.

Speaker 7

Okay, okay, they kicked the venue prior.

Speaker 2

To get your exact venue, just the place like the city.

Speaker 1

What is it? Okay?

Speaker 7

Yeah, yeah, past those less hard passers, all right, our buddy Bo in Antioch. He did say wedding dresses, but again we were looking for just addresses to shout out to Bo.

Speaker 1

He was right there and Christine.

Speaker 7

I could not understand what where she said she was from, But she also said wedding dresses this morning. That was popular. I guess a lot of cat related things as well. Cat trees, cat towers things.

And that's it? How is everyone born today?

Speaker 4

That's what I don't understand, the word everyone's born today? Get it trending coming up.

Speaker 1

The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 9

Before we get to trending, Oh no, take a moment, say you're goodbyas there was a double There was a double bird homicide.

Speaker 1

At my house yesterday.

Speaker 7

More birds, you guys. Birds have been crashing into my house like moss to a flame. I can't figure it out. But yesterday, what I can only assume was a husband and wife bird. They collectively both collided with one of our windows, and sadly they passed away at a time of one point fifteen pm and then one seventeen pm one of.

Speaker 3

Them, you're not concerned.

Speaker 7

One of them died first and the other one stood over its lifeless body.

Speaker 2

But are you saying that with a smile?

Speaker 3

I'm not.

Speaker 1

You're making a face at mean, it's making me giggle.

Speaker 3

I'm like, I'm like actually concerned, Like, what is going on? How many bird deaths is this now?

Speaker 1

At least in the last two weeks.

Speaker 4

I think that's five five birds that have crashed into Graham's window and have died.

Speaker 7

And you'll be happy to know that I did get out the ceremonial rake and shovel, and I scooped him up, and I took them to the edge of our property line. And I just, well, then I have time to dig a hole or anything. And I return them to the circle, the circle of life. I get I and I said a few kind words about the couple, actually can I I mean, look, no, I'm I'm not actually laughing about this.

Speaker 1

It did make me very sad yesterday.

Speaker 7

What I can't figure out is why people have said all these things, Well, you got to hang CDs in front of your windows or put all these reflective stickers all over your windows.

Speaker 1

I brought that suggestion to my wife. She didn't like that idea.

Speaker 7

We just got done building this house, right, and birds just keep crashing into the windows. Now, I've been working on this house for the last three years, basically, and I've had windows installed in this house.

Speaker 1

We have a lot of big windows, I'll give it that.

Speaker 7

But the windows have been installed in this house for more than a year and a half now, they've been in the house, right, that's one of the things you put in before the siding.

Speaker 1

Goes on and all the stuff.

Speaker 7

And why were birds not crashing and dying in the windows over the year and a half. Why has it only been over the last weekend telling.

Speaker 3

You something bad is going to happen there.

Speaker 4

I've watched enough horror movies that this is a bad omen and that's why they didn't start crashing and dying until your family moved in.

Speaker 7

There After they see fresh out of the shower walking around in a towel, They're.

Speaker 3

Like, oh, that's right there, discussing that they just one day and.

Speaker 1

When they tried to get inside. No, but riddle me that.

Speaker 7

That's the thing I can't figure out about this because I've been out there working on site every day and this hasn't happened the second we move in.

Speaker 1

Bang bang bang bang bang bird.

Speaker 3

We gotta get trending, the hottest.

Speaker 6

It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories happening today in the Bay.

Speaker 2

You guys ready for.

Speaker 4

More drama with Blake Lively and Jesson Balon.

Speaker 1

There's more, Yeah, So.

Speaker 4

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, they start in the movie. It ends with us, right, they started it together. Justin was the director, Blake was the producer, and they all there's also drama aside from these sexual harassment claims, there's also a lot of claims that Blake tried to like take creative control of the film.

Speaker 3

Well, now they're at each other's throats with lawsuits.

Speaker 4

Justin Baldoni he is suing The New York Times for allegedly running a smear campaign against him and reporting on things that he allegedly did to Blake Lively, which he denies. Blake Lively is suing Justin for sexual harassment, among other things, and now Justin is suing her back. He just files a four hundred million dollar lawsuit yesterday against Blake Lively.

Speaker 3

This is her husband, and.

Speaker 7

These numbers are probably insane.

Speaker 10

Get your back your bag, four hundred million dollars. And then the other lawsuit he had out there, two hundred and fifty fifty, Like, bro, had anyone ever heard of this dude before this?

Speaker 2

I had all this drama Jane the Virgin, Okay, so a.

Speaker 7

Limited number of people heard of this dude. I'd be one thing. If you're like the biggest star on the planet. Maybe I could justify that. Yeah, your career getting summering here, and you know your potential earnings would be in one hundreds of million plates six hundred and fifty. We're closing in on a billion dollars in lawsuits here, and I don't bro I couldn't pick you out of a lineup like I just I'm trouble.

Speaker 1

I'm having trouble making the math work here.

Speaker 4

So he's suing on claims of civil extortion, defamation, and a few other things like the list goes on and on. Here's how Blake's legal team responded to the lawsuit. They said, this is an age old story. A woman speaks up with concrete evidence of sexual harassment and retaliation, and the abuser attempts to turn the tables on the victim. This is what experts call darvo, deny attack, reverse victim offender.

Speaker 2

Is that an actual thing?

Speaker 12

I don't know.

Speaker 3

She said that's the thing, So I'm just I'm going with her. She's an attorney, she must know what she's talking about.

Speaker 2

Interesting, Yeah, I don't know who to be.

Speaker 4

I can't wait for this to go to trial because I need more details. I need to know everything laid out in.

Speaker 3

Front of me.

Speaker 1

Here's what I want to know. How has there not been a documentary already made about that?

Speaker 3

There probably is, Let me look into that.

Speaker 7

Anytime we have any major event or celebrity death, whatever, a documentary comes out within fifteen minutes. I'm like, how about they do that so quick? Why is there not a documentary that I would actually watch? Because I'm having trouble keeping track of side.

Speaker 1

I want to be onto this. I need a documentary.

Speaker 3

I know, Graham, what do you have?

Speaker 1

All right?

Speaker 7

The roller coaster of the will TikTok itt banned or not continues this morning as we near the Sunday deadline, and unfortunately for you TikTokers, no, things took a turn for the worst this morning. TikTok presented arguments to the Supreme Court asking for them to review the constitutionality of the band and for them to strike it down, and the Supreme Court released their ruling today. No, said the

Supreme Court in a twenty seven page unanimous ruling. The High Court has cited in favor of arguments about the national security threat posed by the company's connections to China, overriding concerns about restricting the free speech of TikTok and it's millions of users here in the United States. Animus ruling that was. I found that to be very interesting and very telling. Now, current president, you know, he's on his way out the door. He said he's not going

to enforce the ban, so I don't really know. He said, basically, next dude, that's gonna be on you. Now, next dude has said when he takes office on Mondays the inauguration app, that he plans to try to save the app. The very same person that tried to ban it his first turn.

He's the person that set this all into motion. And now he's going to come in and be the savior, and hundreds of millions of TikTok users are gonna throw flowers at his feet and thank him for saving the app, when again, let me remind you, he's the one that tried to.

Speaker 1

Ban it in the first place.

Speaker 3

Thank you, Graham.

Speaker 7

We'll remember that, so that reminder will be in one ear and out the other. They don't care. They'll be happy that is saved. We don't know how that's going to happen, but I imagine an executive order will be handed down that will delay the ban and they will continue to find some sort of partnership deal with the US based company and attempt to save the app that way. I don't know how that's going to play out. I just don't think this thing goes dark on Sunday or Monday or whatever.

Speaker 1

But it could be wrong. But at least the Supreme Court, though, says the ban is in effect.

Speaker 2

Interesting.

Speaker 3

I'm scared you and everybody else.

Speaker 7

Yes, I'm finally that I got my popcorn and watching this our play out the JV show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2

Happy Friday to you.

Speaker 3

I'd like to bring on Rob from the San Francisco SPCA.

Speaker 1

Rob you there, Yes, this is Rob Hi.

Speaker 7

Rob.

Speaker 4

So, I have been seeing all over Bay area news sites that you guys are waiving adoption fees. Can you tell us a little bit about.

Speaker 3

That and why?

Speaker 16

Absolutely so. We have a population of animals that we're currently in our pipeline as far as adoptable or on the pathway to be adoptable, that we have been working to find homes for to allow us to free up some space to take adoptable animals or animals that were in their pipeline from Southern California and bring them up to our shelter where we can help them find homes. So as right now, the animals that we are waving fees for are actually some of those animals that came

up to Los Angeles on Wednesday? Are these not all of them?

Speaker 3

So are the Are these animals that have been displaced by the fires?

Speaker 1

No, those that were already.

Speaker 16

In the shelters, They were already in the shelter. Yeah, So the efforts for the shelters up here were to get those animals out, to give them the space to really support those that were displaced for insert or.

Speaker 14

Yeah.

Speaker 4

I imagine every shelter right now is just overflowing with cute, little, cuddly adoptable animals, dogs and cats. So what about anyone who's able, maybe they can't like take on a pet long term or permanently like fostering.

Speaker 3

Is that an option?

Speaker 16

Absolutely? So there are groups across the board, ares included, who are looking to expand foster networks. So you know, for the sp you can go to f FFPA dot org, where we have information on ways to get involved. The other thing people can do is consider donations, and we really are encouraging folks to look directly at those affected shelters in southern California. We've shared out on our social sites some a list of rescue organizations that are looking and need those monetary donations.

Speaker 7

Most Hey, Rob, do you do you guys have any cats with like different color feet? Or Jass on our show she loves cats, but she's very particular and she wants her next cat to be named Boots, but so it needs to have different color feet. Do you have anyone anything that could you know fit the Boot's name? Because if not, I don't know if I can get her to adopt one, not that I.

Speaker 16

Can think of right now. I guarantee you there will be a port anyone comes in definite.

Speaker 4

Yeah, but anybody else if you can't adopt or donate or help Rob, where can we find that list of places to donate you were just talking about.

Speaker 3

You said it's on yourself up.

Speaker 16

Yeah, so on our Instagram and on our Facebook pages and then thee Anything folks can do is just go to our website s FSPCA dot org. They can get involved with their email newsletter where we're going to continue to keep folks updated on how to best support the shelters, the animals affected by the shelters, as well as our long term mission which is just to support animals and need across the state.

Speaker 3

Definitely.

Speaker 7

Sorry, let me ask one thing before anybody bring in any birds, any birds.

Speaker 16

There are birds. We don't take birds at the s FSPCA. We do dogs and cats, but there are definitely birds and critters that have been affected by the fires that have been pushed out to the rescue.

Speaker 4

Are you with the market for a new bird, Graham. I don't think you should be having any birds.

Speaker 7

I'm just saying maybe because I might find one injured by my house. My house has been injuring a lot of birds lately. I thought maybe I could bring them in there, but they only do dogs and cats.

Speaker 3

Hey, Rob, thank you so much.

Speaker 4

We're going to continue to pass along this information again. Anyone who could adopt foster donate do that now. And they're waiving adoption fees.

Speaker 1

Which is awesome.

Speaker 3

Yes, all right, Rob, thank you, have a great weekend. Okay, thank you so much.

Speaker 4

All right, bye. Graham. You were just talking about the birds that it's been crashing into your large window and dying. I think it's a sign that something bad is gonna happen. I hope not, but I've seen enough scary movies. Let's go to the talkbacks.

Speaker 1

But you guys, I haven't from Newark. This message is for the bird killer.

Speaker 10

I'm skidding, drab, but like count of how many birds you're gonna kill throughout twenty twenty five.

Speaker 7

Bye, I'm hoping that you know, the word gets out amongst the bird community.

Speaker 1

Don't fly over here, and then this number will start to drop.

Speaker 7

But that past couple of weeks, for whatever reason, it's been a rough it's been a rough go at the new house. Good morning JV show.

Speaker 15

This is that he said from Want to Creek okain Uh Graham, seriously, go on TikTok, go on YouTube. Dude, Come on, man, find the little hats for these birds so that way they don't run into your window. This is really depressive. This is sad like and it's like an omen. Something's happening. If your house hunted, did you you built your house on a burial grow m.

Speaker 3

I think there's something there.

Speaker 7

Well, I gotta put hats on the birds once. Yeah, I gotta go out there and catch him and then put a little hat on him. And that's going to keep him flying. I mean that would look cute, you get a little cute. Can I enter a theory? Can I put a theory out there? Because like I was saying, I've been working this house a long time. The windows have been in for a long time, and we didn't have this problem before, but just since we've moved in now bang birds are hitting the windows.

Speaker 1

And some of them make it, some of them don't.

Speaker 7

I think it's because I've seen on near our property, on this big tree, a big hawk.

Speaker 1

You have to be careful you say that on the radio. Big hawk. It's a huge hawk.

Speaker 7

And I think he's swooping down because look, you know big hawks they like to eat the little birds'.

Speaker 1

I think he's on the hunt.

Speaker 7

And then they're fleeing like and they don't look to see which one they're flying away, and bang, that's when they're hitting the window. Look, they would have gotten there, the big hawk with an with an h would have gotten him either way, probably, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2

So, but that doesn't explain why it's always the same window.

Speaker 7

This one, yesterday's incident was a different window. So I don't know, but I'm thinking, like they're fleeing apex predator out there, which is this huge hawk with an H and then they're running away, not running, they're flying away, and then bang, they're not looking to see where they're going.

Speaker 3

I just don't know what it is. Yeah, it is a solution and.

Speaker 7

Putting decorative you know, calographic tape, hologram tape all over your whole house.

Speaker 1

That that's brand new.

Speaker 7

I just I don't want to do that, but I I just think maybe once this huge hawk goes away, maybe it'll stop happening.

Speaker 3

So how do we make it go away? Is what I'm saying. Like, that's the thing is I try to catch it.

Speaker 2

I don't think it's as easy as just making it go away, like something deeper than.

Speaker 1

Joy.

Speaker 4

All right, if you're just tuning in, Grandma's killed five birds so far, and he crash, no regrets none, he thinks it's hilarious, hilarious.

Speaker 1

Stop at the JV show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 14

You know that.

Speaker 4

Lightheaded, queasy feeling like anxiety is kicking.

Speaker 3

In your little shaky little clammy. That's me right now.

Speaker 1

Yeah too.

Speaker 2

I feel like one day when I'm eighty, I'm gonna wake up and still have nightmares about this game.

Speaker 7

You will you will.

Speaker 3

Smalldy four nine The JV Show. I'm Selina and I'm just all right. Friday mornings at this time it is eight twenty. We play what we like to call the Chug Wheel.

Speaker 4

I hate this game. I really hate this game. Let's go to the phones wild and for nine high.

Speaker 10

Who's this?

Speaker 7

This is morning?

Speaker 12

Hi?

Speaker 2

Moniic let me.

Speaker 3

Ask you a question. How how well do you know the JV Show? Do you listen every day?

Speaker 13

I do?

Speaker 1

This is not good good for us?

Speaker 4

So for us, here's how this game. Here's how this game works. EMONI thank you for for being on your callar twenty. So this week, Graham asked me eight questions. We're gonna go through each one of them. We're gonna stop down and if you can guess what I answered, We're gonna we're gonna we're gonna make it five. You gotta get five corrects, you gotta get five points, then

you win. We're gonna give you a JV Show chug mug we lose, Jess is gonna draw name that person is spinning the chug wheel, and it's gonna have the chug whatever it lands on and they're.

Speaker 7

On this week's chug Wheel. We have something called bean sprout water. Don't know if that is, but doesn't sound good. We have croon juice tonic water. A new spot for this week's wheel. I'm calling it the Jess Space. It's called Dealer's Choice. You hit that one. You can pick whatever you want off the wheel to drink. Of course, we have the soup do your on there. It's the soup of the day and today it's a hearty chicken noodle and uh, let's see, and I think that's it.

Speaker 1

It might be a couple of other gross things on there.

Speaker 3

All right, you ready, I'm ready. All right, let's go to question number one.

Speaker 1

If you had to delete one for life, what would it be? DoorDash or Instagram?

Speaker 12

Oh?

Speaker 3

What do you think? I said, delete one for life?

Speaker 4

I would say DoorDash Instagram.

Speaker 1

Really, I don't know me.

Speaker 4

Yeah, I just know me, and I feel like I can't resist DoorDash. Not leaving my house sounds way more appealing.

Speaker 1

Yeah, but you you scrolled Yeah, no, TikTok. And then you scroll on Instagram. It's like a smoker going out for a smoke. They can't help it.

Speaker 4

They got you yeah, but yeah, so think about what that says to DoorDash.

Speaker 3

I'm way more to that.

Speaker 1

All right, one point for us, thank god. Go to the next question. What team do you think it's going to win the Super Bowl?

Speaker 7

What do you think?

Speaker 1

Selena said, what team is going to win this year's Super Bowl?

Speaker 5

I feel like she.

Speaker 8

Wouldn't say Niners just to get under your skin.

Speaker 1

Well, super Bowl, they're not in.

Speaker 4

I want to say the Chief.

Speaker 1

The Chief fails.

Speaker 7

Oh the bill.

Speaker 1

Two points for the good guys.

Speaker 3

Anyone but the.

Speaker 1

Chief, anyone but the cheeses.

Speaker 7

That's my motto this year.

Speaker 3

All right, let's have the next question.

Speaker 7

What do you think is more likely to happen this year? Jess gets engaged or Nick Cannon has another kid?

Speaker 3

All right, Monique, what do you think?

Speaker 4

I said, like you're girls gross, I'm gonna say he said Jesse age.

Speaker 3

Nick Cannon doesn't have a kid.

Speaker 4

But I just feel like Nick Cannon's having kids all the time.

Speaker 3

You know, that's inevitable.

Speaker 7

That's a for sure thing I think, And I think I'm on record.

Speaker 1

I think Jess gets engaged. That's what that would be my pick.

Speaker 3

All right, so far, Monique, you have no and I am happy about that.

Speaker 2

Yeah, me too. This is the best game we've ever played.

Speaker 7

And if you got to get five out of girl, yeah, Lena, have you got to get five out of eight? That means she's got a clean sweep here from here on out.

Speaker 3

Why all right?

Speaker 7

Next question, have you angrily flipped off somebody in the last month?

Speaker 1

Monique?

Speaker 7

What do you think Selena said? Has she flipped somebody off in the last month?

Speaker 15

Absolutely?

Speaker 3

No, truthful. I don't flip people off.

Speaker 7

Jes let me side barthy for don't you see if anyone here on the show is going to flip somebody off rage, I.

Speaker 2

Believe, I believe, thank you.

Speaker 3

Just my road rages, I yell windows up.

Speaker 4

I am deathly afraid of getting into any type of confrontation on the road because you don't.

Speaker 3

Know what that person will do to you.

Speaker 1

That's true. Good point.

Speaker 3

I do not flip people off.

Speaker 1

All right, Monique. Unfortunately you are oh for four.

Speaker 7

Starting, and I believe that will be caused for celebration because Jess will not be spinning the wheel.

Speaker 1

Do you want to continue and see if she can get a point on the board?

Speaker 3

Okay, I think like's to go through the rest of the questions for funzies. Monique, are you down? Okay, I'm down.

Speaker 8

Let's do it.

Speaker 7

What would hurt you more? No one's showing up to your wedding or no one's showing up to your funeral? Monique, what do you think? She said, No one's showing up to her wedding, no one showing up to her funeral? What would hurt Selena Moore?

Speaker 5

I would say the wedding because she's not going to her funeral.

Speaker 3

No one's showing up to my funeral. That would hurt me more. That means nobody really cared about you.

Speaker 1

But he does a good point. You wouldn't know about it.

Speaker 7

But like say, as a ghost, you find out like and you're looking down to see who's there, and like nobody's there.

Speaker 1

That would say that would sting your ghost feelings.

Speaker 3

All right, let's go to the next question.

Speaker 7

How many times a week do you think a married couple should be getting busy? Oh, Monique, what do you think Selena said?

Speaker 3

I think she said twice, at least twice.

Speaker 7

On the bar A point on the board right now it is one point for Monique and five points for the good guys up here.

Speaker 3

Show I can't believe this. All right, let's just run through the last couple questions.

Speaker 7

Have you ever farted around your man but blamed it on one of your kids? That's a good question, Monique. What do you think Selena said?

Speaker 3

I think she said no, No, I don't believe this.

Speaker 1

I don't buy that one either.

Speaker 3

If I do, he knows that I do that.

Speaker 14

Now.

Speaker 3

I told you there's no reason to lie and blame I just so.

Speaker 7

He walks in and sniffs that and he's like, who did that? And you raise your hand it was me, or you're like one of the kids or the dog.

Speaker 3

Uh no, yeah, he'll know. Or I mean he's always around, We're always next to each other. But it happens.

Speaker 7

He knows. Interesting, okay, And I don't do it like all the time?

Speaker 3

Are on purpose?

Speaker 1

Okay? Are you going to watch the inauguration on Monday?

Speaker 3

Monique? What do you think I said? I hope you said no? Hell no?

Speaker 13

Hl right?

Speaker 1

The final score Monique three.

Speaker 7

Unfortunately that does not yet a jav show chug wheel stol, my god, the hell.

Speaker 1

Of a tri Jess?

Speaker 3

Will you be hugging just for funzies?

Speaker 9

Oh?

Speaker 2

Hell no?

Speaker 4

So thirsty, No, it's just how I naturally, look, Monique, thank you so much for playing.

Speaker 3

We're gonna give you a chug mug. Anyways, So hey.

Speaker 1

The JV Show on Wild ninety four.

Speaker 4

Nine, Today's the best Friday ever. We got saved from the chug Yeah, will.

Speaker 7

God spared us more?

Speaker 1

J Show Loop from South City.

Speaker 12

So I had an idea, even though you guys won the Chug Wheel game, what if you still draw names just to see who would have actually gotten it again or who actually saved themselves this week?

Speaker 1

You know, just make it interesting, all right, have a good week, love?

Speaker 3

Should we do it?

Speaker 7

Good idea?

Speaker 4

I really it would have been Jess's turn to draw a name, so she's picked one.

Speaker 1

Oh my god, oh my, oh thank god.

Speaker 7

Now I'm so mad that Monique did not win the game.

Speaker 1

That would have been staircle.

Speaker 7

Now, let that be a lesson to everybody that keeps accusing Selena and I. You guys, never do. You're being mean to Jess.

Speaker 1

You're bullying her.

Speaker 7

The names get drawn, it's a one in three and sometimes your name gets drawn a bunch of times and just happening called probabilities, right, wow, and Jess is.

Speaker 2

The one picking up last week.

Speaker 3

I had her pick the name for me.

Speaker 2

I'm gonna play it.

Speaker 3

I picked it and then she just ran. I don't know whatever, but there's no funny business going on.

Speaker 2

Well I got saved this week, and that's all that matters. I'm gonna have a great weekend.

Speaker 7

Too bad you can't drink because of DREGI would have been nice to crack a cell between right there.

Speaker 3

Don't remind me.

Speaker 4

Oh, by the way, tomorrow, I just want to remind everybody really quick if you haven't signed up.

Speaker 2

Yet to hang with you.

Speaker 7

Big reminder, Big reminder, everybody.

Speaker 4

I will be an old sugar mill that's a winery just outside of Sacramento.

Speaker 3

I'll be there from noon to two. We're gonna hang out.

Speaker 4

I'm gonna watch you drink wine because I'm doing dry January. And as a matter of fact, I need witnesses to come watch me not drink so you can report back to Graham and let them know, hey, Selena did not drink, because I don't think he's believing that I can actually or.

Speaker 2

Convince Selena to drink. That sounds better.

Speaker 3

Yes, I wish you would try. What do you see this would power? Please?

Speaker 4

Oh, but if you want to join me register now Wildney for nine dot com, slash old Sugar Mill, and then I will see you tomorrow. So the CEO of Walgreens, Okay, he's admitting that, I don't know locking everything up behind that glass wall or plastic, I don't know what it is.

Speaker 1

You plexiglass.

Speaker 3

Plexiglass probably not the best idea.

Speaker 9

You know.

Speaker 4

They did this to fire back against all the shoplifting mm hmmm that goes on at their stores, and he thought that this would be great because people would just go in there. They're not going to be losing inventory, they're not going to be losing any money. No, they still lost a lot of money, yet it wasn't being stolen. But people also weren't buying because they don't want to wait around for somebody to come unlock the dang thing to.

Speaker 3

Get whatever they needed.

Speaker 2

Yeah, this happens to me with deodorant, yep, anything because I don't want to I don't want the worker to stand there as I'm sniffing all of the different deodorants because I haven't decided which one I want to buy.

Speaker 7

Yeah, there's too much pressure you have to pick one immediately. Then what if you get stuck with about saying you don't like, I mean, this is this, this whole thing makes sense. You have to understand the United States consumer in twenty twenty five very short attention span, Right, you don't have time to stand around and wait.

Speaker 1

We just don't.

Speaker 7

That's the way people are wired. It's you need something, now, you need it there. I want to check out the deodorance or whatever. I don't have time to wait around for that one employee that's got the keys and I hit the button and nobody shows up.

Speaker 1

I'm done, Like I'm done.

Speaker 7

I don't.

Speaker 1

My day keeps moving. I don't have time, and they do.

Speaker 7

At the end of the month, they look, they they have They can do a simple equation and based on their inventory and their sales and see what their loss was. Now every company has an acceptable look. They understand that shoplifting things are gonna happen, and there's an acceptable range there for them. I mean it should be zero, but that's not being realistic. They have an acceptable range. We know we're gonna lose this much to shoplifting or defective items broken out, you know, whatever.

Speaker 3

It may be.

Speaker 7

We know we're gonna lose this much, but we're still making this much and it's all fine, and then you lock everything up and you realize, well, now we're still losing.

Speaker 1

We're still losing. So it's a lose lose, right.

Speaker 7

They had to do something because shoplifting was was taking that number outside of the acceptable loss range. It had gotten too high, so they have to take action. What's the thing that they're gonna do. It's not that because locking it. I'm I'm the same way. I shop a lot at Home Depot. Obviously, I've been building the house to go there all the time, and they locked a ton of their stuff up, and anybody that's I love

Home Depot, but anybody's been to home Depot. Do you know how long it takes to find somebody that works there to come unlock a thing?

Speaker 1

Or if you or if you have a question, well home Depot, I'm in. They were shout out to home Depot.

Speaker 7

But if you ever need help at home Depot, just hope hopefully you pack the lunch because it takes a while for someone to get there. And the same thing I look, I'll admit I have I needed a certain saw blade and it was behind the thing the other day and I reached up and under the cage and I grabbed it, and I took it and paid for it, obviously, but it looked like I was trying to steal it. But I was able to reach my long, skinny arm up there and grab it myself because I don't have

an hour. I just don't have an hour to wait. So I reached in the thing and I grabbed it, and it looked like I was stealing.

Speaker 1

I wasn't. I went and paid for it. But you can't lock everything up.

Speaker 4

Like when I walk into a store and something I need is locked up, I don't even bother.

Speaker 3

Yeah, I don't have the time to stand around of late.

Speaker 1

I'll order it on Amazon.

Speaker 3

Yeah, I'll order it. Amazon's a lot of idem's have same day shipping.

Speaker 4

I will instacart it. I will door to ash, It'll be at my house by the time I get back, exactly.

Speaker 1

You know what I mean.

Speaker 7

No, it's just you have to understand h to understand the modern day consumer. We don't have the patients. No, we don't have the patients to wait. I need immediately.

Speaker 6

Its hottest, It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories.

Speaker 4

Happening today in Jess, are you zooming in on the Justin Bieber pictures?

Speaker 2

Oh my gosh, I was for research purposes. I have a comment to make, but you okay, So listen.

Speaker 3

Go to JB Morning Show. That's our instagram.

Speaker 4

Check it our story because we reposted some of Justin Bieber's story where he is in his underwear. I don't know where he's on vacation too, but it's cold, it's snowy. He's wearing these white Calvin Klein you know, boxer briefs.

Speaker 2

And they're wet.

Speaker 1

Mind you, we want to let me zoom.

Speaker 3

In screenshots, take a screenshot and then and then zoom in so he's.

Speaker 1

I don't want to zoom in on that.

Speaker 4

These are a bit wet, which we think that he might have done so type of like polar bear plunge. And now he's like out of the water and drying off. But Jess, your comment after you zoomed into the underwear.

Speaker 2

Oh okay, So here's here's what I'm thinking, because.

Speaker 1

I have a comment. Yeah, it was cold in that water, that's my comment.

Speaker 7

Was it frigid in there?

Speaker 2

Right away? It reminded me that he had done a Calvin Klein campaign before. So they for sure stuff for those, right, because this is what his old campaign photos.

Speaker 3

Now it is a known thing that those pictures, yes they're stuffing.

Speaker 1

Yeah, they're definitely stiff.

Speaker 4

Wouldn't you just pulled up then his actual like modeling pictures of Calvin Klein and yeah, that was really cold on his story after the plunge.

Speaker 7

Or clearly there's snow on the ground in the background this picture, so he clearly jumped into some ice water.

Speaker 3

It's not there's not that much shrinkage. I mean, maybe there is. I don't know.

Speaker 4

I don't have one of those, but they're clearly stuff in for actual photo shoots.

Speaker 7

Yes, but there is that much shrinkage. Really, I'm just saying he could go from that to that. I don't I think the first No, the first picture is very embellished and it could go to this. What we're seeing is a more accurate thing because this rinkage is real and that water is real cold. It's like a frightened turtle going back in the shell.

Speaker 2

This is not an appealing picture of him. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1

You know, some ladies are thurston over this, regardless of.

Speaker 3

The do you boo it's not our story. JB Morning Show. All right, Wendy Williams attorney says, do not be fooled to buy her interviews.

Speaker 4

Wendy is not well. Yesterday we played some audio from Wendy on the Breakfast Club. She was talking to Charlemagne, and.

Speaker 1

She sounded fine.

Speaker 4

It was still heartbreaking to hear her talk about how she feels like she's a prisoner and she has no money and she's locked in this tiny room. But as far as her being able to like articulate herself, she sounded fine.

Speaker 3

She seems very clear minded.

Speaker 4

Well, her attorney is saying, look, do not be fooled by these interviews, because you know, she was also on Don Lemon's podcast yesterday as well. She says, Wendy is still dealing with frontal low dementia, which has no cure. But that is why a New York State Court, New York State Court yep a founder unable to make legal and financial decisions for herself. They didn't just like make this up, like and she basically said exactly what you were saying, Graham, that she has her bad days, she

has her good days. And that's what we witnessed yesterday she had a good day, a lot of clarity, but it's not always like that.

Speaker 7

I mean, it's just dementia is such a heartbreaking thing to watch people go through.

Speaker 1

It because if it's.

Speaker 7

Affecting one of your loved ones, Yeah, they have those moments where it is totally them, right, and it gives you almost like this false.

Speaker 1

Hope, like that's everything's fine.

Speaker 7

And then they have the other days where it is not and it's not them, you know, and it's just that feeling, whereas this is not the person I know, and it's just it's a heartbreak breaking roller coaster of emotions going having a loved one go through dimension.

Speaker 3

That is what Wendy's going through.

Speaker 4

When her attorney said Wendy's going to need care the rest of her life, Yeah, that's just what it is.

Speaker 1

Graham, what do you have?

Speaker 7

All right, let's get you updated on the fires in la I think this is pretty good news. Palisates fire thirty one percent contained. It's still holding around twenty three thousand acres burn. The numbers of acres burn has not really advanced significantly at all over the past few days, which.

Speaker 1

Is good news.

Speaker 7

Eating fire sixty five percent contained now and still holding right around fourteen thousand acres burned, So to me, that says, well, the containment numbers, you'd love to see them closer, you know, to ninety to one hundred percent contained. The fires aren't advancing and spreading like they were rapidly and destroying new structures. In other words, so I think that's good news for the fires, but obviously still thinking good thoughts for everybody in the LA area because they have.

Speaker 1

A long, long road to recovery ahead and now here locally.

Speaker 7

Holy battery fire, Oh no, A major fire erupted at one of the world's largest battery storage plants last night at Moss Landing in Monterey count You ladies that are from Salinas have inevitably seen the giant like smoke stacks from the Moss Landing power plant. You know what they look like.

Speaker 1

This is one of the world's largest lithium battery plants.

Speaker 7

And if you've seen a lithium battery fire in like an electric car something, you know they burn super hot. They are extremely difficult to put out. There are evacuation orders in place, warnings to stay inside to avoid all the fumes that are coming out.

Speaker 1

So if you live in Monterey County or headed there.

Speaker 7

They are saying you should stay indoors, keep your windows and doors closed, limit outdoor exposure, turn off your ventilation systems. A local county supervisor said, quote, this is a disaster. This is a this is a very big fire. There is some containment on it, but again, these fires burn so hot they're incredibly difficult to put out. We've seen like battery fires and tesselas and stuff before, and firefighters run out of water to put on the battery because they just keep burning.

Speaker 1

They're really hard put out.

Speaker 7

North Monterey County Unified School Districts said all schools are going to be closed today due to the fire and all the fumes that are coming off it.

Speaker 1

This is a wow, pretty big fire there.

Speaker 3

All right, Well, thank you for the information.

Speaker 1

Graham the JV show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 4

I don't know if it's just the energy drink, but I'm feeling those Friday vies me too, or juice.

Speaker 3

Yeah.

Speaker 4

Are we the only people that will crack open and ice cold energy drink at eight o'clock in the morning.

Speaker 3

Yeah, mostly because it's not eight o'clock for us.

Speaker 2

It's technically lunchtime.

Speaker 7

You're right. I'm like a half hour from dinner time, I would eat some meatloaf and go to bed like an hour.

Speaker 3

It's that is so true.

Speaker 4

I mean, when you have the hours that we work, like Jess, we'll go to in and out at like ten thirty in the morning.

Speaker 3

Why, I'm just saying, you know what, I'm proud different for us.

Speaker 2

Yeah, I'm not ashamed.

Speaker 3

Oh, we do have your chance to win some crazy cash. That's one thousand dollars.

Speaker 4

That is on standby. By the way, thanks for hanging out with the JV Show. I'm Selena, I'm Jess. We were talking earlier about how the CEO Walgreens was like, you know what, we decided to lock up all of our inventory, so when you go in there, you have to wait for an associate to come unlock and give you the doordorant that she wants and you're gonna go pay for it like that. He was like, Yeah, doing that didn't really help. Turns out, when you lock items up, you don't sell.

Speaker 3

You don't sell as many of them.

Speaker 13

Hey guys, it's Kat out of Walnut Creek. Happy Friday. I'm curious on the Walgreen situation. You remember those Amazon stores that you could just take things off the shelf and had all those sensors and then when you left the store, it would just charge you for what was what you took. Why don't they implement that in more of these stores? Is it not profitable? I'm just I don't know what happened to those or if they're still out there.

Speaker 3

So those are still a thing, right, ye?

Speaker 1

Still, I don't know.

Speaker 3

Here's my They're just not common.

Speaker 7

Well, yeah, here's my theory on the whole thing. Amazon's just testing out the technology. They don't want to be. Amazon has Whole Foods, but they don't want to be in the brick and mortar grocery store game right on their own. They don't need store. You're buying enough stuff online. My thought is they probably were like, let's try this out. It's proof of concept. People can go in. Yeah, you just add the stuff to your cart and walk out

and automatically charge your card. Now they take that technology, which they fine tuned over those trial process. Because I don't even know if those stores are still a thing. Someone could let us know if you've gone to one of those Amazon stores recently where you can.

Speaker 1

Just walk in and get your groceries, walk out.

Speaker 7

I'm assuming they were just testing that whole checkout system, and now they go to the big grocers, the big stores and say, look, hey, you want to get rid of all your human employees and have AI and everything run your whole store for you. It's a lot cheaper this way, and look it works and people can't shoplift as much, and it's just going to charge their cards automatically. I'm assuming they are shopping that technology. And then I

still think that's the future, right, don't you? At some point, I think it's gonna happen. You'll go into a store, grab the things, walk out, and you'll never have to take a wallet out and never have to put things on a conveyor belt. You just go in, grab it, walk out, and your card gets charged. I'm assuming their shop in that technology. That's just my theory.

Speaker 3

That's that makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 4

One more talkback. We're talking about Justin Bieber. He's got some undie picks on his Instagram story. You can check him out on our story JV Morning Show. But Graham, you noticed the shrinkage.

Speaker 7

I hate Graham per se. It's like a frightening turtle going back into his shell.

Speaker 3

Look, I think it's an accurate way to describe.

Speaker 5

Look.

Speaker 7

I mean, I've swam in the babe before, I've swam in cold rivers, I've swam in Lake tahoees cold and just trust me, ladies when I say that's an accurate definition.

Speaker 1

Of what is transpiring there, because you're like, when you'll.

Speaker 4

Get out of the water big and why like after that, why would he decided like now that's a great time to take a picture of my junk and put it on my story.

Speaker 7

Yeah, it's like, why, it's probably there is something you get out of a ice cool. Anyone that's ever done a cold plunge or whatever, you get out of water looking ripped because everything, like, you know, you're.

Speaker 1

You do look good.

Speaker 7

You look really toned, you're wet and like your muscles all kind of I don't know what it is you look rip when you get out of that cold water. Now, the one thing it doesn't look that looked too impressive is your little buddy there, so exactly you know, you weigh the frozen.

Speaker 4

Cons We do have to get to crazy Cash, a really quick one to spend a couple of minutes on this Grams. I need some advice for help, and I feel like you're the perfect person, because I feel like the only person that can really answer this is someone who's maybe gone through it, and it's got to be a dad, a man. Okay, Graham, here's my question. Okay, at what age do boys stop pooping the pants?

Speaker 7

I look because it every fifty five and then it starts again at seventy five. Probably even sooner than that. It was probably a brief ten or twelve year window where it doesn't happen.

Speaker 3

I have never experienced, not with myself, not with my daughter. But now I have a son.

Speaker 4

I am having to cut his underwear off of him at least once a week.

Speaker 7

What do you mean about what do you mean cut it all like beaut like a paramedics like you can't. They start cutting your clothes off and they're getting to a giant wound on your body.

Speaker 1

Why are you cutting?

Speaker 7

Then?

Speaker 3

I don't want to.

Speaker 4

I don't want to get too graphic, but it's just it's just the better option to not, you know, make a message Rereddit, so.

Speaker 7

You make your son stand there in the undies that have witnessed a traumatic experience, and then you're staying there some scissors and you're just cutting them.

Speaker 4

Literally, have to cut them off the literally have to put these things off of him and throw them out off the old fashion.

Speaker 3

I just told you why. I don't want to get to graphic, but it's the it's the best option, trust me.

Speaker 7

Well, but then you have to buy new.

Speaker 2

I know that's what I'm met about. This is not what I signed up for.

Speaker 1

Maybe it's not the best in a washer.

Speaker 3

No that all of my clothes, everybody else's goes into.

Speaker 7

I send him into the bathtub first, for I sent him in the bathtub first for a pre wrinch.

Speaker 2

No, that's nasty, but I'm not you can't.

Speaker 7

I don't have just biden wear a pair of underwear one time, throw it away and that kind of money.

Speaker 3

That's why I'm asking you how long does this last?

Speaker 15

Wait?

Speaker 2

So I told you, how often is it happening?

Speaker 3

I'm saying, well, at least like once a week?

Speaker 2

Now, Oh no, put them in diapers again.

Speaker 1

Yeah that's so.

Speaker 4

And you're saying this goes on till fifty you're probably fifty fifty.

Speaker 2

Your husband also going through this, Yeah.

Speaker 1

Not that he tells you.

Speaker 7

Yeah, but I know it is weird that he brings a pair of scissors into the bathroom every time he.

Speaker 1

Goes in there.

Speaker 3

Are you cutting in there?

Speaker 1

What are you doing? Why do you need the scissors?

Speaker 13

Yeah?

Speaker 2

Is he constantly buying underwear too?

Speaker 10

Yeah?

Speaker 1

Why Amazon?

Speaker 3

He needs a new one?

Speaker 7

Wow? Amazon keeps delivering the twenty packs of the Fruit of the Looms.

Speaker 1

Yeah, I mean, I don't know. I mean, look, I've never cut the underwear off.

Speaker 7

I guess I understand why you're doing it, but yeah, no, I it's like the times that I've done. I don't cut him off, but it's it's like playing that game of Operation where you can't touch the sides, you know, and you're moving the underwear down the legs but you can't touch you know. It's like a it's like a game, really really disgusting game.

Speaker 13

Yeah.

Speaker 7

I don't like it.

Speaker 2

Parents are brave. I could not.

Speaker 3

I could. I am paradise and I cannot.

Speaker 5

I can't.
