Bondi Rescue's 'Beardy' on becoming a new dad and saving lives

I didn’t know this, but Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach was shut down for the first time since WWII in March last year due to Covid. But it’s now back in business, and that means the team from Bondi Rescue are back. I can’t believe the show is in its 16th season, and during that time there have been a lot of changes – on and off the screen. One of the biggest changes this year involves Daniel McLaughlin AKA Beardy, who has been promoted to head lifeguard alongside Hoppo AND welcomed a new baby six months ago. The new dad joins us to talk about juggling a new baby and saving lives.
