Episode description

It began with hospice in the late 1960s, the first wave of an incredible movement to bring comfort and peace to people who were dying in misery, alone and in pain. There is another wave of empowerment at the end of life that is going on now; this time, on the individual level. There are independent practitioners all over the world, heeding the call to serve the dying in very creative ways. This podcast describes this movement, the organization Deanna Cochran created to nurture it, and the first gathering of this org, The End of Life Practitioner's Collective, all through a conversation between Lindsay Bakke, ELPC's Celebration Alchemist and Deanna.

Come to our celebration "An Anam Cara Gathering" in Estes Park, Colorado, USA, September 18-20, 2015. More Information Here.
