Episode description

On tonight’s show:

Phillies win 3 of 4 against Washington, and like I said about the KC series, that should have been a sweep, but winning 2 out of 3 and 3 out of 4 consistently will get you to the playoffs. Also, Michael Lorenzen threw a no hitter on Wednesday night, and in a crazy stat, all four pitchers from his high school that make MLB now have no hitters on their resumes.

Conference realignment: Stanford and Cal is getting interest from the ACC, but they are also getting interest from the Mountain West and American Athletic Conference. Mountain West probably would be better for the remaining Pac-12 schools, BUT conferences aren’t regionalized anymore.

Phil Mickelson, according to a book that is coming out soon, wagered over $1 billion on sports over the last 30 years or so. He even tried to make a Pete Rose type wager according to the author on the Ryder Cup that Phil was participating in. Maybe we know why Lefty was “suspended” a couple of years ago and why he has a disdain for the PGA Tour.

Reports out of Commanders camp is that new OC Eric Bienemy is being too rough on the offense. Joe thinks this is a product of the participation trophy generation that things are “too tough” on them.

On the Stupid S--- I Saw segment, I brought back the story I was planning to talk about with Rockin’ Reese about a car ending up in a second floor bedroom. Joe thinks there is something suspicious about this crash, even more than what the police are investigating.

Finally, Andre Duke joins we and we talk some football and other things.
