About Simon Bogdanowicz Simon Bogdanowicz is the co-founder of LaunchTeam, a marketing platform for authors. LaunchTeam helps writers through the author journey and book launch process through a combination of curated resources and new technology that allows authors to build a tribe of ambassadors, aka their launch team. Simon went to the University of Michigan and started his career working in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group of a prominent Wall Street bank in New York City. In the summer of 2010, Simon left to spend a few months in Brazil. Simon returned to New York City and made a career change, shifting into the tech world with a business development position at Thomson Reuters. He worked his way to Santa Monica, working for a Silicon Valley martech company before landing in the publishing industry. Simon has a real passion for making the world a smaller place by helping people develop impactful relationships that make a difference in their lives. His passions include adventure travel, snowboarding, University of Michigan sports, soccer and reading books. He's visited over 30 countries and plans to see at least 15 more countries by the end of 2017. Simon was born in Poland and moved to Flint, Michigan when he was 6 years old.
