Court's decision on racial jerrymandering represents. You have to have lived through the last fifty or sixty years of seeing the Voter Rights Act increasingly abused for Democrat gains in order to truly appreciate this. This Court all but outlawed racial jerrymandering after five or six decades of having the Democrats and the activist left abuse a piece of legislation that was meant to bring fairness to the South after decades of Southern Democrats racially abusing the ballot box for

their own gains there. And yes, this allows several states, especially Southern states, to redraw their maps and add seats in Congress to the Republican side of the aisle. And

we'll get to that. But it isn't wishful thinking to believe that this Supreme Court decision could ultimately mean somewhere between twelve and twenty new Republican districts created between now and twenty thirty if the Republicans controlling those states all decide to redraw their maps, and of course they'll be under heavy pressure to do so by President Trump and

the Republican strategists. But let's start with the ruling itself, because it's another landmark decision, and it's yet another decision in which we finally, finally, after many decades, have a Supreme Court whose members want to genuinely make constitutionally correct decisions and get us back to a time in which we honored both the letter of the law and the Constitution, but also to a time in which the three branches of government had limited and defined roles and stuck to them.

This is another great instance of this six' to three conservative court finally finally being in the position and having the numbers to correct a, wrong an abuse of the law in the system that was never legal or. Constitutional the era of racial gerrymandering in order to segregate black And hispanic voters and put them into their own districts so that The Democrat party could essentially create political plantations

to keep them on is essentially. Over The court has finally ordered The Democrat party and the active is left to stop being racist and treat Every american voter the. Same and, wow is the left in a meltdown over, this. FOLKS a good way to size the importance of any win For republicans or how big it is is to see how The democrats and the leftists are reacting to it on social. Media And, WOW i, mean the bigger the,

Opportunity because what The Supreme court did here is further unravel a sixty year racial grift that The democrats have been using against this country in order to keep control and power for. September it's just not going to. Happen but could they be in play for twenty twenty? Eight, absolutely depending on how fast these red state governors and legislatures are and how motivated they are to. Act could a dozen new red seats make a huge difference as part

of the twenty thirty redistricting based on a new. Census, Absolutely the implications here are significant for the twenty, thirties they loom large for twenty twenty, eight and they aren't likely to be all that significant this. Truth but you, know The democrats are mortified when one of their own left wing activist groups has calculated that as many as Nineteen democrat congressional seats could now be in.

Jeopardy which states could move quickly. Well the decision was based on The louisiana, case and So builicgans In louisiana can quickly move to implement a new, map which could mean one more seat For. Republicans, again not sure if

it would be in place for, fall but. Maybe then There's, tennessee WHOSE gop leaders seem to motivated to scrap a map that gives them a seven to two advantage currently and put one in place that gives them an eight to one, Advantage so an additional seat could be created there for twenty twenty eight and. Beyond republicans In alabama immediately, said, hey we are free to move to add a seat and make their map seven to one now that a court ordered black district is no longer required, there so

there's another. Seat ditto For South. Carolina Another republican seat could be created there with little. Trouble Georgia republicans have started to make. Plans mississippi has, options and this is all based on a ruling that says these state leaders no longer need to be forced into having quote majority minority. DISTRICTS i assume nearly all of these states are going to engage in mad scrambles to get new maps in place before, fall even if all of them are slowed

down in court and aren't ultimately available for. Fall i'd expect The republican lawmakers in these states to swiftly move, forward only to have their efforts stopped in. Court and of, course since the wheels of justice turned so, SLOWLY i don't see a major new advantage For republicans in fall due to. look where we are. Now The virginia map probably doesn't court. Challenges Ron DeSantis's probably. Will texas's map has officially been put in place By scotus and that should be four or five New republican seats, there and the landscape has dramatically flipped in favor of The republicans. Again al. Elujah it's just a few days, later and The democrat's big redistricting win looks a lot, different doesn't. IT i was quick to suggest that this Big virginia victory probably wasn't

going to stand. Anyway the Bullying democrats there took a map that was a pretty good representational map that had Six democrat districts and Five republican, districts and they conducted an extreme jurymander to virtually wipe out all of the red districts then turned around and forced it onto the voters Of virginia by selling it as. Fair, moreover they did so in a procedurally clunky and unconstitutional. WAY i didn't think it was going to stand or really ever

come into, play and it still. Might it still, might BUT i. Doubted The State Supreme court immediately denied The Virginia Attorney general's request to put that map into place after a lower court judge blocked. It and it was just a day or two After virginia's special election that

this district judge refused to certify the. ELECTION i, mean the net effect is that it throws the democrats carefully engineered power grab here into, chaos and it makes it increasingly unlikely that this new map will be in place for the fall election at the very. Least but based on The Virginia Supreme court's, reaction it raises real questions over whether the map will ever be approved for. USE a lower court judge is refusing to certify the results

of that, election which means no redistricting for. Now for, now nothing. Changes and that had The Democrat Attorney general Of, virginia who's a legitimate Scumbag Jay jones appealing directly to the State Supreme court to allow the map to at least be put into place they want to use it this. Fall not only did The Supreme court deny as, request but its members did so with no. Explanation it was a harsh curt, no and that suggests the members of That Supreme court are not inclined to go along with

Cheat and, again we can only make assumptions at this, point but in, general when A Supreme court denies a motion to let something, proceed it's because the members of that court have real reservations about whatever it is they have been asked to put in. Them so having the members of The Virginia Supreme court flatly deny any request to allow state lawmakers to go ahead and use this map is not a sign that these Cheating democrats are going to get their. Districts it could well, be based on That latino shift that only three of those new districts go To republicans and two go To. C to Represent florida in the. Future to the average, person that's going to sound nearly as offensive as The Virginia democrats cheat making their map

Ten democrats to One, republican and it nearly. Is but interesting, Fact DeSantis's map still doesn't look as much like a crime against The republic As virginia's. Does there are no lobster districts or extreme boundaries of the sort that are in The virginia And illinois maps in this New florida. Map but bottom, LINE i wouldn't hold out hope that any New florida, map or any new hastily drawn red state map is actually going to be in play or

affect the race this. Fall if a few are, great but we basically hit a point on the calendar in which any arguments over new maps are going to be pushed into arguments about twenty twenty, eight not twenty twenty.
