This week we present the concluding portion of this sermon. We as "Pentecostal's" seem to have forgotten why the Holy Spirit was poured out on the day of Pentecost. Let's remember the assignment given as the reason we have the experience.
On Pentecost Sunday 2018 I preached a sermon reminding us why the Holy Spirit was poured out on the feast of Pentecost. We've gotten stuck in the experience and forgot about the assignment.
Often times we look to assessments to tell us what to do with our lives. With the Motivational Gifts there is going to be a certain amount of trial and error. You learn things about yourself in the process of attempting new things. In this episode I discuss using the results of the assessment as a filter for the things you try in finding your fulfillment. I want to give you permission to try things and not have to keep doing them the rest of your life if they don't energize you.

As we go through life we will face the unexpected and the challenging. God has given us what it takes to overcome every challenge. Courage is not the lack of fear but it is moving forward in the face of fear. This week we are playing the first part of a sermon that my wife Sharon gave in May of 2018.
Unfortunately many have begun to believe that God doesn't love them. It may be because of so many unanswered prayers or bitter disappointments. I presented this message in a revival we were having in Austin, Texas. I felt God had given me an assignment to help people rediscover the immense love the Father has for them.
You've got to listen to this podcast. I was reading a scripture in Romans and it said God would crush Satan under YOUR FEET. Wait! My feet? Yes, your feet. Listen and be challenged.
This week we continue the message we started last week. We must establish who God is to us before we can truly believe Him for what we need.
Something I have come to understand is in order to have faith in God, we must establish who He is to us. Hebrews 11:6 says, "Without faith it is impossible to please God. But those that come to Him must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him." I don't think this means we must just believe He exists, but we must believe He is what we need in our lives at the time. Then we pursue Him with that understanding in our heart.
This is one of the most misunderstood of all seven gifts. There are more opportunities for the person to overextend themselves physically and emotionally. However, it is one of the most needed gifts in all our lives. Let's learn more about this gift together.
Why do I find myself taking over when no one is providing direction? Is there a reason I can assess a situation in an instant then formulate a plan? These are the things I think about. The answer came to me as I studied the motivational gift of leading. Listen along as I discuss all the ins and outs of this gift and you may become more self-aware.

I preached this sermon in Fort Worth on the Sunday before the Memorial Day holiday. As I was listening to it I felt the need to post it right away. I was going to schedule it's release for late August but it seemed I needed to let you here it now. God knows where you are because he placed you on this earth for this time and these circumstances. He has faith in you like he did for Peter that your faith won't fail.
