Albert R. 'Cubby' Broccoli

Albert R. Broccoli, known to all as Cubby, is perhaps the man - beyond Ian Fleming - most responsible for the cultural phenomenon that is James Bond. Initially as co-producer with Harry Saltzman, then later as sole producer, Cubby oversaw the films as they developed from their relatively low-budget origins to large-budget, high-grossing extravaganzas, and Broccoli's heirs continue to produce new Bond films to this day. The team take a look back at the man's life and legacy, specifically his input into the world of 007 and the British film industry.
