We appreciate when our organizations bring a community together to have challenging conversations about diversity and inclusion, but we agreed that a culture of belonging is something we need to embed into our daily practice at work.

--What grassroots initiatives, events, or efforts are being developed at your organization to talk about the complex issues around diversity and inclusion?

--What questions/activities do you put into your meetings to learn about others within your office?

--How are you embedding ways to gain a diverse or inclusive perspective?

--How are you making your teaching, learning, and office materials more accessible with universal design?

--Who might be a helpful resource at your campus, organization, or institution to consider how you might embed diversity and inclusion into your work?

-Host a potluck to share a favorite food or dish

-Add your pronouns at the signature of your email

-Use a microphone for presentations or larger meetings

-Consider size and style of font for screen readers
