Episode description

Aadeel Akhtar is an entrepreneur on the frontier of bionics. He’s the founder of Psyonic, and alongside his team they've created the Ability Hand: an accessible and affordable robotic arm that nearly turns you into a super hero. From charging your phone, to 360 degree hand rotation, to touch feedback sensitive enough that you can easily pick up a hollow egg shell without cracking it… Aadeel’s mission is to be able to provide this kind of bionic technology to whoever needs it all around the world because the vast majority of amputees are in developing countries and only a very small percent have access to any prosthetic device.

As of this recording, they just launched the Ability Hand as a public product a few weeks ago. Aadeel and I talked all about what the development of Bionics means as we “redefine human.”
