Episode description

John Johnson, Assistant Superintendent for the Assemblies of God SoCal Network and a co-founder of CityServe International returns to give us an inside look into the refugee crisis. With over 80% of refugees comprised of women and children, the need is greater than ever before. Today there is a New Exodus taking place as people from Syria, Iran, Somalia, and other countries are fleeing oppression and modern-day ethnic cleansing. The New Exodus Project comes alongside ongoing relief efforts in Jordan, Lebanon, Greece, and Turkey to provide food, clothing, schooling, and other resources to these displaced families. John provides easy steps to get involved and challenges us to become compassion brokers. There is no reason for every Christian not to be engaged in ministering to these people who are in desperate need
