Sr. Pastor Eric Pickerill and Dr. Charles Montgomery Jr. interview author, speaker, and community advocate Joel Edward Goza. His first book America’s Unholy Ghosts: The Racist Roots of Our Faith and Politics, was endorsed by National Book of the Year Award Winner Ibram X. Kendi and NY Times Contributor Khalil Gibran Muhammad. His current book project tentatively entitled Rebirth of a Nation: Reparations and Making an Anti-Racist America. Joel is a graduate of Wheaton College and received his Master’s of Divinity from Duke University. He is currently in the midst of pursuing a Masters in Executive Leadership at the LBJ School of Public Policy at the University of Texas. When not working, Joel spends his time with his wife and two children.
