He is the co-author of three books, including The Leader's Journey, and he is the co-founder of Faithwalking, a spiritual formation process that equips people to live missionally. He is the co-owner of a leadership development/coaching company also called The Leader's Journey. He and his wife, Betty, live in Houston, Texas, and have five children and six grandchildren.
