What's up, guys? it's Ian here, hope you're having a great day. Just wanted to take a couple of minutes to talk about stress, anxiety and all those emotions we feel emotions, we oftentimes coin as bad emotions. But before I get to doing that, I just wanted to let you guys know, I'm going to take a little break from the podcasts just to focus on school, finish up the semester, so I'm not going to be posting those on a weekly basis for the

next couple of weeks. I might just take a two to three week break altogether. But I'll still try to continue to post some videos on YouTube, as well as continue to post on both Instagram, Facebook, and even LinkedIn. In the first 10 episodes of my podcast, I've talked a lot about anxiety, worry, fear, self doubt, all these emotions, and I've talked about how to be more positive, and I just wanted to clarify some things on emotions. So all those, those negative emotions are not really

negative. I just want, I talk a lot about positivity, so I just want to make sure I'm explaining this correctly. Too much positivity is probably not a good thing, right? "Positive vibes only." That kind of thinking is just unrealistic. I would say on a regular basis, on pretty much daily basis, I struggle with worry, anxiety, fear, self doubt, all of those emotions. And I have my whole life and I don't expect them to really go anywhere. I don't expect any of you guys to live a

perfect stress free life. That's just, that doesn't make sense. That's completely unrealistic. I think it's better to think of those emotions, not as negative emotions just as emotions, they are what they are. Yeah, if if stress becomes a part of your life so much that it affects your way of living in a negative way to where you can't function properly, that's not good. But a lot of times, those emotions tell us things. And a lot of the times we can use those emotions to benefit us.

Let's look at stress. Stress is a very normal emotion, it happens to everybody over over little things, over huge things. It's just always there, it seems like. It's not so much about removing the stress from our life, it's more important to think about how you can handle stress and also even use it to your benefit, or any of these other emotions that seem negative. We need to figure out ways to handle them, and ways to

use them to our advantage. With something like stress, a lot of the times stress is necessary. They say athletes need a certain level of stress to perform their best. Stress often pushes us to get things done, it pushes us to

be better. That's okay, that's a necessary element to life, we need to learn how to properly manage our stress, I don't even want to say to limit our stress, because stress comes from new things, it comes from pushing yourself, it comes from trying something new, it comes from venturing into the unknown. So if we just try to limit stress, that's, that's not necessarily a good thing. And it can be detrimental to our growth, to our success, and just to our

life in general. So it's important to figure out ways to manage these emotions, and even use them to our benefit. So for example, with OCD, I worry about things i know i obsess on things bad, but I also obsess about good things. So I can obsess over my goals. I can obsess over the process, I can obsess over what I want to do with my life. But I can also control it, I can manage it. That's really what it comes down to: stress, fear, all these things should not be

limited. Managing these emotions, taking care of them, learning how to handle and process them is so much more important and valuable than just simply removing them. If, I don't even know how you could theoretically do that. Just go sit on the beach all day and waste away your life like Yeah, that would be fun for a little bit. But at some point we need to look for something more, to grow, to strive, to be better. And stress, fear, anxiety, worry, doubt, are all elements

to success. They are all necessary elements to reaching something greater. I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to talk about that because I've talked a lot about positivity. And I didn't want to come off in the wrong way that we should just remove stress and act like they're terrible things that are life threatening all the time, that we need to just completely negate them and remove them from our lives. No, no, that's, that doesn't make sense. They are

there for a reason. And they're going to be there for a long time. So let's figure out how to manage them and how to use them for personal gain. Make sure to like and subscribe if you enjoyed this video, more content coming soon. Again, I apologize that I'm not going to be posting some podcast episodes for a little while. I'll try to stay pretty consistent in posting a couple of these videos each and every week. Until next time, remember the Ion Motive: Live a Charged Life!
