Subscription apps aren’t making money

Tons of apps just aren’t raking in cash like you’d think they would. TechCrunch reports that just 17.2% of apps ever exceed $1k in monthly revenue, which is a scary statistic for app developers out there. Is inflation to blame, or is there something deeper here?
