A Paralympic legend who, when racing, was defined by his iron will and absolute refusal to give up. Ever. 
Kurt had the ability to physically push himself into areas where few people go. His explanation of the mental attitudes required to do this are pretty special. 

But more than that, Kurt is a man who seeks out adventure, in a world where adventures are often a distant dream.
