Introducing The Hopeful

The Hopeful is a narrative long-form podcast that tells the story of an Iranian-Canadian who escapes Iran amidst the revolutionary crisis in 1982 and continues to reside in Canada today. Our lead character, Amir Omidvar, speaks to his daughter (the host of the show), Shayda Omidvar, about why he decided to leave and how arriving in Canada has impacted his life and the life of his family. The Hopeful, at its core, is about the Canadian Dream. Walk side by side with Amir throughout his personal journey to find hope and happiness in his new forever home. Coming October 5th.
