Known by Arkansas fans as the resident DJ at Razorback sporting events—DJ Derrick has been hyping up Hog fans for over a decade.  He doesn’t constrict his talents to just Arkansas sporting events. Derrick Dansby aka DJ Derrick, has spun at events across the realm of sports: SEC Championships, SEC Tournaments, MLB events—basketball, football, softball, baseball, gymnastics, track & field, you name it, DJ Derrick has been there doing what he does best. How did he get the gig and how does he go about keeping sports fans hyped up at games with his signature mixes? We sit down with DJ Derrick to get his story.
