""The Promise keepers" as they are fondly called lead the NPFL log with 68 points from 36 matches and have a massive goal difference of +27, With the 61 points already accumulated with five games to go, this is Akwa United’s best points tally ever in a single NPFL season. If they get a point or win that match in Uyo, they will win the NPFL title.
