Upon research, we here at the Hidden Archives have discovered that tonight's tale started as a suicide note. It is safe to say that this story is non-fiction (as is every tale we share), albeit slightly metaphorical. Depression is a very real horror. Please, if you suffer, seek help. There is no shame in this.
In our annual holiday episode for 2020, we hear the tale of a man who has moved to the town of Bowstring Wyoming. Being from a large city, and then moving to a country town is a big adjustment. However, with the holidays around the corner, he gets the idea to celebrate as the locals do. This should be no big deal, but when a small accident happens, a world of chaos is unleashed in the days leading up to Christmas.
This week, we are addressed by someone who has done something very bad. You see, he has killed someone and needs to tell his side of things, if for nothing else, just to try and make some sense to himself about what has happened and how. As you will see, an explanation of how things happen is easy. But coming up with a reason "why" often leaves us with more questions than answers.
Being a single parent is difficult. Even more so when you are trying to balance your work and family life. It can be challenging to know whether or not you are making the right decisions for you and your family - especially in the face of tragedy. In tonight's story, Rodney Strickland get's some help with these issues through what he believes to be Divine Intervention. But we are left to wonder if maybe this form of assistance is doing more harm than good.
Managing and maintaining a relationship can be hard. This can be compounded when it seems like the other party in that relationship seems disinterested. Change can often be daunting and difficult when this is the case. So, when something does change, especially if that change is quick and drastic, it may raise some questions. In tonight's story, we find out what happens when the protagonist of our story is faced with this exact scenario.

However, on many nights of the year, especially Halloween, the dead and dishonored have their chance at justice - and this includes Roadkill.

In tonight's episode, we explore a classical theme in horror as we look through the eyes, so to speak, of someone who is dealing with a dichotomy in persona. This change from one thing, into another, without control or consent can be frightening to anyone who experiences it in any form.

Welcome to our first Sci-Fi episode! However, don't let that fool you into thinking that it doesn't cover a rather frightening subject. Once again, we are joined by Admar Susic who reads a narrative written by someone in the distant future.
This evening's story originates from a small corner in the Archives that is often overlooked. It came from the Holiday section. In this story, we hear from a death-row inmate who just wants to feel the joy and fulfillment that the holidays bring to everyone. So he organizes a meeting with a priest, as portrayed by special guest star Admar Susic, with whom he discusses the meaning of the season.
We have two tales for you in this episode. That's right. In the first tale we meet someone with some nefarious motives and plans. In the second tale, we meet someone who seems to be seriously lacking the ability to plan.
Back to darker realms with this tale. Our character takes a dreadful journey that seems a bit unreal, but unfortunately for some people, it is too real. Take this one seriously.
