Episode description

In this episode, I’m covering my journey from a blackout drunk to one year sober. (Think losing house keys, broken phones, and not knowing how I got home.) Making the decision to quit drinking isn’t for everyone, but a choice that aligns best for me in my own life.

I realised late 2019 and into 2020, that alcohol was numbing the pain I ignored for too long. When it stopped numbing and started making the hurt worse—I knew I needed to make the change.

In this episode I cover:

  • Why I decided to stop drinking
  • How I got to my lowest point
  • The process of quitting
  • The challenges of navigating sobriety
  • Revelations from reflecting on the last year and
  • Questions to ask yourself
