Welcome to the first episode of a special edition of The Happy Hour called Your Last Decade. As we enter this new decade, I thought it would be fun to talk to a few friends and reflect back on what life was like 10 years ago. In these conversations, you'll hear guests speak about what God has done in their life, dreams, goals, things they would have differently, and things they're most proud of. And, looking back always causes me to look forward, so we'll also chat about dreams for the next ten years!
For the first episode of this special series, I thought it only fitting that I bring back my man, Aaron Ivey. Aaron and I reflect back on what life was like for us in 2010, and how that year stands out as such an incredibly hard year as we brought home our children from Haiti. Aaron shares about the goals he set for this last decade and how those goals were accomplished. Aaron and I also share what we learned about hospitality in those years, and that it doesn't matter what kind or size of house you have, it's how you make people feel by welcoming them in. I also end up feeling all kinds of emotions as we talk about the next ten years which includes launching all of our children out on their own!
