Episode description

He played more than 50 times for his country, but Gary Caldwell will mainly be remembered by fans for one of the most iconic Hampden goals of all time. In 2006, he scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over France, sending the supporters into a state of pandemonium with just over 20 minutes to play. Caldwell speaks at length about his Scotland career, the managers he played under for the national team and of course that famous goal against the French. He also chats about his application to replace Gordon Strachan as manager at the start of 2018. A cracking episode, not to be missed! Learn more about your ad choices.
