One of the things I’ve taken note of over the last few years is the relative “sameness” of most people’s programs — namely, it’s almost always the exact same movements using the exact same set/rep scheme done in the exact same way ad nauseam.

Now, don’t get me wrong: consistency is important. And you have to do what you want to get good at, so let’s not get that twisted.

BUT!

You’ve also got to do movements that will help boost your abilities in the movements you want to get good at — and that means doing some old school drills you may not have tried before.
