Episode description

In today's episode of The Growth Medium, Mim and Sara are joined by one of Mim's best friends, Fariha Chowdhury. Fariha is a currently studying for her Masters in Chemistry in London, and has dealt with difficult societal and familial expectations to get to where she is now. We talk about what it's like to be a woman of colour in a male-dominated industry, how she navigated conversations around  applying to traditional subjects (i.e. medicine!) with her parents and any tips she has to thrive in non-diverse settings.
