Candyman (1992) Retrospective

Candyman...Candyman...Candyman! One of the most recognizable lines to survive the 90's. Clive Barker's short story "Forbidden" was adapted to the silver screen by Bernard Rose who also directed. Starring Tony Todd and Virginia Madsen, Candyman was a harrowing story centered on a notorious housing project in Chicago which amplified an already compelling narrative. We're excited to see how Jordan Peele can reboot this flick this summer.
