Kevin Brewington – Episode 2

Kevin Brewington’s story is one of courage, sacrifice, and humility. Having initially gone to jail as a young man, Brewington turned his life around and dedicated it to service. Joining the Army, he shipped off to Afghanistan. After being there several months, Brewington swerved to avoid an IED when he stepped on a landmine. The next thing he remembers is waking up in a hospital with his legs cut off at the knees. In his early 20s when this happened, Brewington’s now-wife stood by his side and took up the mantle of Hero for her partner. The happy couple lead their life together as normally as any other would. Now, Kevin speaks around the country to schools, veterans’ groups, and more.
