Alice Marie Johnson was sentenced to life in prison as a first-time nonviolent offender due to the lack of parole for the type of offense for which she was convicted.After receiving a commutation by former President Trump, she was fully pardoned shortly after her speech at the 2020 Republican National Convention. Alice received rave reviews and the injustice of her story caught national attention. Now, Johnson is devoting her life to good. In fact, it's in the name of her foundation.
