Episode description

Fr Rob Galea is a Catholic priest, singer-songwriter, film-maker and author. I was super lucky to be joined by Fr Rob and my friend Ashley as a co-host to talk about Fr Rob's story.

In this episode: Fr Rob grew up in Malta, a party island, and developed depression and anxiety as a teen. After hitting rock bottom, he joined a Christian youth group and later - the priesthood. We talk about prayer, misconceptions of the Catholic church and what Fr Rob's "elevator pitch" about Catholicism is.

Trigger Warning: We talk about depression and suicide in this episode from 7:38 - 14:29. If anything you hear has a triggering effect, please reach out to someone who can help keep you safe. Or remember, you can find lifeline at any time at 13 11 14 or www.lifeline.org.au.
