SGE: Dr. Brant Hulsebus and Progressing Chiropractic

In this interview with Dr. Brant Hulsebus we learn about his family's legacy within Chiropractic and the strides they made to progress this profession. The Hulsebus legacy started when his grandfather was directed from BJ Palmer to be a Chiropractor in Illinois in 1949. The significance of this is predicated on the fact that it was illegal to practice as a Chiropractor in the state if you did not graduate from a school within Illinois! While evading arrest he carried on Chiropractic as BJ had told him to do and became a political figure for Chiropractic in Illinois. A phrase that stood out that the Hulsebus family used is, "do you support freedom of healthcare choice?" Something we still need desperately to this day!
