intro

Hi, everyone, Welcome back to another podcast episode. My name is Alisha Gogin, the host of the Globe Secrets podcast, where I help you expand your mind and become more self aware so that you can glow up into the best version of yourself. Boy, are we feeling it today? In fact, I have been feeling it all month. The winter blues they got me.

They got me in a choke hold. But I want to talk about five things that have been grounding me that have been truly helping me get out of this winter blue, this depression, this struggle that we all seem to face every year when the season's change. Now, listen, I knew that the winter blues had me in a choke hold when I realized I was drinking more than one cup of coffee every day. And that is not a habit that I want to continue to bring in to the wintertime or the new year.

Not only do I know that it's low key, just a way to cope. I just know that trying to have a second cup of coffee every day is not actually picking me up. Now, what I have been drinking recently is magic mind productivity, Because listen, what I'm not gonna do is pick up bad habits during the winter time just to have to wean myself off in the springtime. I'm not doing it now. I know you can only see this if you're watching on YouTube, but these magic mind shots are my

favorite thing. I have been drinking them since September. So in these shots they actually have new tropics, macha adaptagens, and vitamins. So I feel like this is way better in my personal opinion, than drinking coffee, because what is coffee doing to me other than giving me more anxiety. So anyways, every time I start the podcast, I will be having my magic mind shot because we're not doing coffee again, We're not doing the second cup.

If you guys are interested in magic mind shots, then I will have their information down below, as they are the sponsor of today's episode. So two quick things before we get into the five things that will help you beat Winter blues. One, my book is ready for pre ordered, The Ultimate Glow Up Guide, which is not only a book, but a journal guide to self growth, self care, and becoming the best version of you. You can get this book on Amazon. You can get a chapters. You can

get at Burns and Nobles. You can get it really wherever you get your books, all of the information and all the links for my book will be down in the description, and when you pre order the book, you can get my free shadow Work Inner Child Discovery Journal prompt Guide if you have not already gotten that, and the instructions to be able to get that journal guide

will also be in the description below. And also for anyone who didn't watch Monday's episode, I did talk about the giveaway, so if you want to enter, definitely go listen to that episode and the giveaway for that will be closing on December eighteenth. So the first way that you're going to beat Winter

#1 mindset shift

Blues is to have a mindset shift. And this mindset shift has been getting me through it, which is it won't be like this forever. And you need to apply this mindset shift to whatever you have going on in your life. Apply this to your finances, Apply this to your love life, Apply this to maybe you're in a phase of your life right now where you're just lonely, even if you have friends, even if you have a boyfriend,

whatever it is. Maybe people are far away from me right now. Maybe you're on your grind, maybe there's just not much to do socially right now. Maybe you're in school right now, maybe you're working towards a fitness goal.

Whatever it is, understand that this too shall pass. Truly, and recently, since I've been preparing for my book launch, there's a lot of content that I've been having to pre upload and edit and work on, and I think December is honestly one of the busiest months for most creators, I feel, especially for me in the self development industry, I feel like a lot of people are going through it, meaning there's a lot of content to make for you guys, to help you guys get through it, but also

preparing for the new year. There is just a lot of things. And then on top of it, like I just said, my book launch, there's so many things that I'm obviously working on behind the scenes, and lately it's been making me feel really lonely. But in the times that I've been witnessing this not emptiness but just loneliness, I remind myself, this is not going to last forever. This is not to deny or not feel the loneliness sometimes that we feel, for sure, and I'll let myself do that.

But even this past, specifically this past weekend, I was just working on everything, and I was reminding myself, this is not going to be forever.

You know, even with your book launch. You're going to launch your book, and this doesn't mean I'm never gonna stop talk Like obviously, I'm gonna keep talking about my book, but there's just things right now that I have to do, and it crunch time, and it's a lot of brain power, and it's a lot of editing, and there's a lot of nights where I am just alone and I just you know, I can't really escape it, and it feels lonely. But I remind myself, this is not

going to be like this forever. And I think that you really need to apply that to whatever it is right now that you're feeling down about or confused or lost with. I even definitely think if you're going through anything to do with relationships, I feel like that has always been something that's helped me. The mindset shift of this is not always going to be like this forever.

And what I like to do when I think about things that are making me feel sad or alone or depressed, I always think, Okay, how is my life going to be in six months? How is my life going to be in one year, It's gonna look different. And bringing it back to relationships. Okay, the relationship that you have right now, maybe it's not working out, maybe you feel alone, maybe you're confused, maybe you're whatever it is. Think about the dream relationship that you actually want in your life.

How would that look, how will that feel? What would this guy be treating you like? Where will you be going, where will you be traveling to? What will your home look like? What your love look like? All of these amazing things. Let's not continue to focus and dwell on the things that are not working right now or are not feeling that good. We can honor those feelings, we can let them out, we can feel

bad about it, whatever we need to do. But at the end of the day, it is important that we have this mindset shift of Okay, we're here right now where it doesn't feel the best, but we are going somewhere. And it's important because if you don't have this mindset, then you will dwell. I'll sit in your bed every single day just waiting for something to change. But you have to be the one to change. And I even think about this with my gym workout that I did today. It was

really hard. I definitely had to, you know, get past all of the thoughts that come up in my head. But I'm so used to having some of these thoughts that, you know, these little old limiting beliefs, if you can't do this, or is this too hard, or let's just negotiate ourselves out of this next rep, and maybe we can only do three rounds instead of four, like all that stupidness. And I remind myself in the moment, those are just old thoughts that don't need to be my truth.

I don't need to live them out. But what I do in the

#2 the power of a routine

times where I feel like, oh my gosh, Okay, I have twelve reps and I'm lifting two hundred and fifteen pound hip thrust right now. This is hard and I'm only on Rep six, I like to tell myself just do one more, focus on the next one, focus on number seven. Okay, you did that. We can do eight, we can do nine,

we can do ten, we can do it. You have to tell yourself in those moments, this is something that I've gotten so good at doing in all aspects of my life, and this is the thing that has gotten me results in my life, because, like I said, if you don't have a voice inside your head saying you can do it, you will easily not do it. There's been so many times where I just didn't care to have that voice in my head and I dropped. And you can do it.

You have more power than you think. But you have to be the one to tell yourself that. And it's nice to have friends and family tell you that. It's nice to have me tell you that, but at the end of the day, you're going to be the one who has to tell yourself that over and over again until that becomes your truth, all right.

Number two is to have a routine. Now, we talk about routines a lot, and I feel like everyone knows that they it's good to have a routine, but I think, especially in the winter time, to have a routine is to release dopamine in your brain. Okay, when you let's say a morning routine that you have and maybe there's like three things in your morning routine. One you're making your bed, Two you're making sure you have a nourishing meal before you have coffee, and three you're going on a walk.

Whatever those look like for you. That's just in an example, when you check those three things off of your list, you actually release dopamine in your brain, and that is the same chemical that you would get from things that are not necessarily the best, but in quick, fast doses will make you feel amazing. Fast food, binge eating, scrolling on TikTok, talking to a guy who love bombs you but then falls back. You can go even as far as drugs, which we're not going as far as drugs, but

things like that. Obviously we want healthy ways to release dopamine. And when you actually accomplish things, yes, you are going to feel better about yourself, even if it's the smallest things. And not only that, not only that, it has been shown and doctor Huberman did talk about this on one of his podcasts about dopamine, and I will have it linked down below. It's a really long podcast and it's very scientifical and girl, just get ready.

But and I've heard other people say this too, when you're actually on a pursuit to a goal, there's actually don't mean being released as well. So it's not even the fact that you got the goal body or you got the money in the bank account, it's the fact that you're waking up every day and you're checking one, two, three off your to do list and

you're one step closer to getting that dream life. Now, your morning routine doesn't need to be like super goal oriented, but I just think in general, to get you through these long, gloomy days, it can be very beneficial for you to have a routine that you It's not that you're looking forward to it, but you know, these are certain things that you're gonna do every single day to release That don't mean, honestly, now, something that

I do from my routines. I have many routines for different things, but one of them that I've been talking about a lot is to have a weekly deep self care routine. So I'm doing my hair care, my skincare,

body everything like I'm making it a whole entire thing. And when I do that every single week, not only am I feeling accomplished, like I'm moving towards something like an end goal in the way, even though there's not a huge end goal with my self care routines, genuinely, I just know that it's great, but I know that I'm doing something good for myself every single week, and naturally, it just makes me feel less down, less alone, less depressed, because I know, well, every week I'm doing my

self care, I'm doing this routine, I'm getting something off of my list, I'm doing this for myself and if I want to think about some of the benefits, which is always something good to do when the times you don't really want to do something is to think about, Okay, well girl, do you know how amazing your hair is going to look in the springtime? Do you know how nice your glues are going to look in the springtime? Yeah, you don't really know right now, but just know that is coming,

you know. And I do find the more you mind yourself of those things, the less you have to do it, because it just becomes kind of like a natural thought of yeah, I know this is good for me, or yeah, I'm looking forward to this. So have a routine. It doesn't have to be a morning, a night, a new routine, a freakin' i don't know, a five am routine before you're nine to five,

and then your six pm routine before your freaking night routine. Like, you don't need to overwhelm yourself, especially if you don't really have many routines, but just having a little mini routine in the morning or at night, or even a weekly routine that you are feeling grounded in will really help you ground yourself in something that you know is going to do so much good for you your health, your wellness, your mindset, your whatever. Now.

#3 ending your cycle

Number three is to have a reward. Now, a reward could be so many different things. Rewarding yourself at the end of the week by having your fancy coffee at a coffee shop house that is probably really expensive to go to every single day. If maybe once a month you have budgeted something where you

can buy yourself something cute. If you're like more of a material girl, maybe you're going on a monthly massage or a weekly massage if you got the money like that, or maybe simply you have something planned once a month, once a week, whatever it is, And we can put all of those

under the umbrella of a reward. But I think it's really important for you to know that you are looking forward to something like something is gonna come out of whatever it is, even if you're not necessarily rewarding yourself for let's say, like going to the gym for the week, or having your morning routine for the week, or like whatever it is, it's just having something to

look forward to. During the winter months, especially, we feel like it's endless cycles and days Like lately it has been so gloomy every single day. It just feels like the same day over and over and over and over again. And I'll give you an example. This weekend, like I already said, lots of work, it was kind of down. I was actually supposed to see some friends and stuff like that, and I planned everything, but

like things all got canceled essentially, so I just ended up working. But as I was working, you know, changing my mindset It's not gonna be like this. And then something that followed it was reminding myself, oh my gosh, you know what my best friend's birthday is on Thursday next week, not Joy by the way, my best friend from my hometown, and she's having a dinner. All the girls are coming up. It's gonna be so good. And I'm just gonna hold onto that. I'm just gonna know that

what I'm doing right now it's gonna be worth it. I'm gonna get my work done, I'm gonna do everything that I can, and then on Thursday, I'm gonna have my day and I'm gonna go out my girls and I'm gonna have the best time ever. That really helped me through this weekend of feeling really alone. And you know, you might not have like plans with a friend, but maybe it's with your boyfriend. Maybe you have a date night planned, or maybe you have a massage, or you know something that's

free. Maybe you're going to a Christmas market. I went to the Distillery Restrict on the weekend or actually it was Thursday with my friend and it was free, although I do think that it costs something during certain times of the month. But whatever, there's so many things that you can find. By the way, I do have how to romanticize winter on my Mai channel Alicia Gogin if you want to see like what I've been getting up to and the

gift ideas and things that I've been doing. So I don't know, that's just a video that you can watch, but even something as having a show to watch at the end of the night, like I right now love my Real Housewives, I love the Kardashians right now. I know that Vanner Pump is coming in January, I believe, I don't know, there's just something about you know, turning off that endless cycle that you kind of are always in and turning on something that's more lighthearted. And you know, we could

easily it's fine. I'll just after work, I'll just scroll on TikTok all the time, and like, yeah, I do that sometimes, but it doesn't hit the same, it doesn't feel the same. After I'm off of TikTok. I don't feel good. For the most part. I don't feel good when I've been scrolling, or you know, maybe some people won't feel good when they're watching reality TV show. I love it personally, like I just really it's so different than what I usually consume. But find something that

you genuinely actually enjoy. And now, for me, I'm not the most social person, but this specific night with my friends on Thursday, I know it's gonna be great. I know it's gonna be great because we're planning, we're being intentional. We're going to a really nice restaurant, we're gonna go out to a place we all love. We're all getting ready like it's planned. It's not just this off the whim oh, just come out to the

city because like there's nothing to do. That's good too. If you need to do that, do that, And I do think planning something weekly monthly can really again ground you and this energy of like, you know what, I've got this, I can do this, I can get through this time of my life, all right. Number four, Whatever it is you spend

#4 romanticizing aspects of life

the most time doing, do your best to romanticize that time or that process. So, whether that be the gym school right now, working on your finances, finding your career, self care practice, going on a healing journey.

Usually the things that you're wanting to spend the most time on tend to have an end goal, which is great, But how can you romanticize and enjoy that process, because essentially you're probably gonna have to do this quite often a lot of the times, and when it's wintertime, when there's not sun coming out, or when it's cold, or when even doing this for so

long, sometimes you can easily fall back into old ways. And I think something that can really help you get to your goal or even just get through this period of time is to enjoy the process. Is to romanticize your little routine. So at the beginning of the year, when I was working out, I didn't necessarily have a routine or like this identity that I was stepping into. I kind of just was going and getting myself into the gym,

which is great. You don't have to romanticize everything, and I don't suggest you do because it just becomes too much. But I started to be aware of the things that were making me feel really motivated to go to the gym and things that weren't. Now, when it comes to motivation, you can't always be motivated with everything. And I am going to actually make a video on motivation on my main channel as well, probably to do with health and

fitness, because I'm that's what I do. But for me, what helps me not have so many thoughts about negotiating myself out of the gym is looking forward to the gym and how do you look forward to the gym? And for me, it is a playlist that I know these songs are getting me in the mood. These songs remind me of who I want to be when I'm in the gym, when I'm out the gym, when I'm wearing my

outfits, when I'm feeling the most alive. I also have workout sets that fit me right and I feel good in I wear my hoodies sometimes I have my headphones that give me the best sound that I could possibly have, especially when I'm doing leg days. I'm also making sure that my workouts are tailored to what I actually enjoy to do, along with making sure that my workouts

are actually sustainable and for me personally. I've actually cut down how many exercises that I do in the gym for my leg days, and I usually only stick to two main exercises. I do my activation, my warm up, and then I do two exercises. I'll switch them sometimes depending on what and of course, like i'm lifting certain ways, I'm changing them all the time.

I used to be a personal trainer, by the way, if anyone did not know that, and health coach, and I went to school for health and wellness, so I feel like it's kind of easy for me to program myself. But still these are things outside of what I even learned in school. Honestly, just taking things very very slow and just knowing myself and also having food that I look forward to eating afterwards to make sure that I'm fueled when I do this process. Going to the gym is not hard for

me. It's not something that I dread doing. Is it hard? Yes. Do I know that it's going to be hard some of the times, like harder than others, even if like I'm on a period or whatever it is. Yeah, but you know, the pre and post and the during

me doing these small little things, I really do enjoy it. And I think that there's been many times where I've wanted to go on a fitness journey and I didn't really have that, Like I didn't really care about a playlist, or I would just play random music, or I didn't sit down and curate a playlist. I didn't look for the clothing that made me feel the best. I didn't visualize the person that I really wanted to be. And

I'll give you another example. When it comes to deep work sessions. For me and deep work, it really just means like turn off your phone, D and D right on your computer or do whatever journal or whatever the heck you want to do for like however long you want to do it, usually

around like an hour or like ninety minutes. Recently, because it's been really depressing at night, like the sun sets at down near four point thirty, and on top of that it's usually gloomy all day, I know that I'm going to be still working into the night, and you know, my body

is definitely transitioning to this no sunlight vibes and it doesn't like it. And so instead of just sitting on my laptop and you know, being crunched up and really uncomfortable and just you know, not really having a process, I like to kind of set myself up. Whether that's in my office or out in my living room, depends on where I want to work. I have my lighting, right, I'll put on some jazz music. I'll make sure that I eat or I have a water, I'll have my magic mind,

whatever I have. Like, I have a whole little setup, and I turn off my phone, I make sure my area is clean and nice, and then I start working. That makes me not only more motivated, but I feel more clear minded. I feel like I'm actually like in the process of doing things instead of just sitting up and opening up my laptop and just

going away. Sometimes you have to do that, yes, but because I spend so much time doing that on the nights where it feels very depressing, I no longer dread another three hours of editing when I kind of know, well, actually it's kind of enjoyable when I put on the music, you know, when I get into a comfy outfit and maybe I have my little drink with me and everything is kind of clean, and I give myself this time like it goes by quicker. I don't feel so resistant to do it.

So whatever routine that you have to do, romanticize it. And I even think about when I used to drive to work, when I used to be a bartender and server. Obviously I did not enjoy working those long hours. It wasn't the most fun thing. But what I would make sure to do is I made sure to leave enough room in the morning to have my

morning routine, like to put my time and effort into myself. But also as I was driving to work, I always made sure that I had a podcast that was talking about a specific topic that I personally was interested in. Maybe it was feminine energy, if it was healing self development. Maybe I'm really into oral health or hair health. There's so much content, there's so even listening to audiobooks, Like, there's so many things that you can fill

your time with that will really help you get through those moments. And I've had so many of them, guys, And I'm talking when I was seventeen eighteen. When I first went on that self improvement journey, I was waking up. And this is when I lived in a toxic environment, you know how I Sometimes I say I lived in a traphouse. I did, but I don't like to talk about it too much, but I did at one point, and that's actually where my self development started. And I really had

to make sure that my environment was exactly the way. I romanticized everything. I made sure that my room was nice. I made sure that I had certain routines. I would have a journal routine, a morning routine, and make sure that I go to the gym. When I went to the gym, I would be listening to a podcast. I listened to a podcast while I was at the gym. I just did so many things to kind of

get me through those times. And I am so grateful. I always will say, I look back at the seventeen year old version of me, and I'm so grateful that I decided to And this is not even about self work, whatever it is. I decided to choose things that were going to allow

me to get through the current period of life that I was in. And when I was seventeen, it wasn't the best, and you know, people definitely have it worse, but I also had it way worse than obviously I have Now I have a beautiful, amazing life and something that I always dreamed of. But it was because I would do those things now the last thing,

#5 three important wellness habits

and I kind of tied a few of these things into one under the umbrella of wellness. I think that you should, really, really, really and I know sometimes it's hard to prioritize three things, one being movement, one being sun, and one being nutrients. Now, movement can be any form, Okay, I just mean and for me personally, like go outside and take a ten minute walk. Please do that for yourself, whether you go to the gym or you do not, it is so good for yourself

to get out. And you know, maybe you have a busy schedule, so maybe you're driving to work and then you're at work all day and then you're going to the gym, so I understand. But even essentially, let's say you go to the gym after work, park far away from the gym, make sure obviously that you're around people and like you're not like too far,

and take that walk and get outside in fresh air. If you need to grab something from the store, push yourself to go walk to the store instead of Uber eats it or order it or leave it on Monday when you're gonna get all your shopping done, No, go and do those small little walks. I promise you it will make so much of a difference, because we're talking about nothing to do at this point with like end results or like

body things or anything like that. When you are like depressed and it's the wintertime, lots of winter blues, your life force energy is a little bit stagnant. It can get stagnant a lot of the times. You know, we're cooped up, we're inner heads a lot, we are watching the screens all the time. And we don't have to demonize all of that, but

just to remind yourself to keep moving this energy through you. And I mean even like your emotions, Like there's just something about moving your body that like sometimes you just can't even access some certain thoughts that come into your head until you move yourself. Maybe you don't even realize it, but like move your energy by going out on a walk or going to the gym, going in the treadmill, whatever it is. But I do think going outside is really

beneficial. I just think the natural air is great. Now. Sun I know, for the most part, the sun ain't out. It ain't out in Canada, that's all I gotta say. But even if you don't see it, you actually do get some vitamin D even if it's cloudy out. So I do suggest you do that walk and you can get that sunlight. I like to make sure, especially to look at the weather. When I see a little bit of sun, which is not much these days, I

will make sure to go outside. I feel like it's I'm doing myself a disservice if I look at the weather and it's sunny out and I don't go outside, Like that's insane. There's no reason on earth that I shouldn't go outside. And even if you work like corporate I used to work at corporate job as well, go outside on your lunch break and just do five ten

minutes. Please do that for yourself. Even today, Actually, when I was sitting on my couch, I ended up getting a new rug and I was like moving everything and I was sitting down after and having my smoothie, and the sun came out for a little bit, and I didn't think the sun was gonna come out today, and I just I put everything down and I just like turn my face to the sun and I just basted there and I just sat there, and I was just like, take every possible moment

that you can take this in right now, because it is not going to last. And it's just so crazy. I reflecting about how instantly you feel ten times better by simply the sun being out. It's actually really sad to think about it, because as soon as it's gone, it's like your mood has completely changed. But in general, just making sure that you maximize now. I will say, Vitamin D is something that I supplement with a lot in the winter time. I will make sure to have it in the morning,

like what vitamin D? Put it under my tongue. Sometimes I'll just add into my smoothi's if I need to. It's just something that over time your body will start to really utilize. So I would suggest doing that. I have my supplements down below on I like to know what I have, like a little category if you're interested in the brands that I take or use. And then, like I said, nutrients. So I'm not going to

push any sort of diet. You guys know, my thoughts about diets, and if you don't know, definitely go watch last week's episode all about how I heal my relationship with food. But I do think putting an emphasis on making sure that you are really fueling yourself with the nutrients that you need.

And I just mean macro or micronutrients, So carbs, fat, proteins, all great, all a part of a balanced, beautiful diet, but also those vitamins and those minerals, making sure that you're getting magnesia, making sure that you're getting B twelve, all of these essential vitamins and minerals that you

can get in food. I'm not saying I'm not like pushing any sort of supplement, but I just mean really making sure that you are feeding your body, because at the end of the day, it's like your life force energy bringing it back to that is a little bit dim right now, and what can help you really move energy but also feel energized is having balanced, healthy meals, having meals that are going to fuel you. Gone of the days where we are wired off of coffee one two cups of coffee a day.

And I'm not saying that you can't have your coffee. I drink my coffee, but I make sure that I'm fueled as well. But we can't be doing that to our bodies. Having coffee maybe one meal, and that one meal is takeout meal, and that's it. And I'm busy and I'm stressed, and I'm just that, and you're wondering why you have like ruminating thoughts and anxiety every single day and you're feeling hopeless with life. I'm not saying you having a balanced meal is going to fix your depression, but I will

say it will help. It will help when you wake up every day and decide, you know what, I am going to fuel my body with the essential nutrients that it needs, and I'm going to do this consistently, and I'm going to reap the rewards and the benefit. I used to be somebody who was really depleted and really stressed out, feeling very lethargic, and really just burnt out. And there was many reasons. Obviously, I was operating out of a place of lots of trauma that I didn't heal from. I

needed to do a lot of healing practices. My nervous system was shot. But I was also doing really high intensity workouts that weren't really helping me with my hormones or my adrenals or anything like that. But also I just wasn't

necessarily eating the best for myself. I was kind of eating whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, sometimes not a lot, Like I would have maybe one meal a day sometimes because I wasn't even that hungry, and it would be I don't know, let's say, like a bagel with like bacon and chicken or something. I don't know what it was. But and I'm not saying that that's bad because this actually is a great meal. Sure have that.

That's a good pre workout or sorry, postal workout meal. Chicken, bacon, mao, lettuce, tomato and a bagel, that'd be really good. But if that's the only thing that you're gonna eat every single day, coffee bag or coffee bag or coffee bagel, what nutrients is your body having

other than that? Genuinely, and we're wondering why we don't feel so good, right, so we just want to think about holistically, how can we support ourselves mentally with the mindset shifts, physically by moving our life force energy and just getting out moving, breathing fresh air. But also what are we feeding our bodies because our bodies are listening, Our bodies are here. Do not ignore. These are some things that I am absolutely grounding myself in absolutely

stop waiting

making a priority. I know that if I do not do these things consistently over the winter, it's just not going to allow me to have a more embodied, more beautiful, more present life. And I just think the fact that the winter can last so long, and I know some people don't live where it really is that gloomy, so you guys are just honestly lucky.

But for the most of us, we cannot only live for summer. We cannot only live for spring and summer, Okay, And I know we kind of do in a way, and like a lot of things we do during the winter kind of are preparing ourselves for summer. But I do think that there's so many great things that does come out of your hibernation season. Lots of healing can be done, really pouring into your own cup. You know,

just so many deaths and reverse that we all go through. But I just think that I'm not here to only live my life half the year. You know, I can go out with my friends and feel alive and feel well and feel energized during the wintertime, but it's going to take me committing and doing a few more things. And yeah, does it feel harder than

it does in the summertime. Maybe sometimes, But I will say over the years, it has gotten so much easier for me to not feel like, oh my god, I have to do all these routines for the winter to keep me out of depression. It definitely still happens. I always talk about this on a healing journey. You're never going to like not be untouchable, but you don't go as low. And I used to go very, very

low. I used to really fall into depression during the winter months. But the more times I got consistent at doing these these behaviors or these habits, the less I would fall into these depression modes. And they still happen. The dips still happen. Naturally, your body's going to feel the fact that the sun's not coming out. But because I have been pouring into myself, because I've been you know, moving my life force energy and really pouring into

myself, telling myself it's not going to be like this forever. I'm moving through these lows a lot quicker in my life and that allows me to be That allows me to be available for whatever the universe is wanting to give me during the winter months, because the universe is here ready to give you some things. Girl. If you didn't know, okay, So if you're feeling down and depressed, just know, focus on yourself, do the best you can. And there's gonna be so many great things that are gonna come out

of winter. It's not just gonna be in the summer. It's not just going to be in the spring. Cannot wait for it, yes, but there's so many great things that are gonna happen for us during this time.
