Scott was raised in Ramsey, NJ, where he goofed off a lot in class & played a bunch of sports. He continued his sports, his music, and his liberal arts education at Tufts University and then, for his Master's, at the University of Melbourne in Australia. Scott was a National Merit Finalist in high school, a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar in his 20s, and is currently a member of Mensa.
He & his future wife, Ashley, launched in 2006 what has become northern NJ's premier network of academic mentors, BrainStorm Tutoring & Arts, which now employs over 60 people and has won "Best in Northern New Jersey" for seven straight years. BrainStorm has also been named "One of the Most Innovative Companies in America" by Entrepreneur magazine. The company uses customized, enthusiastic, relationship-driven tutoring to create outstanding life opportunities for its thousands of students.
Scott has taught on five continents and is a highly sought-after performance coach specializing in college admissions, test prep, and purpose-led life design and productivity. He is also a consultant to many start-ups, specializing in brand strategy, company culture, and client relationship management.
He & Ashley live with their two daughters in Hawthorne, NJ.
