The Vinedresser Trims the Branches

A Nigerian rapper in London tweets, “The West is [toast] if it loses its Christian foundation,” and Elon Musk sort of agrees. The rapper from Africa and the richest man in the world may have a point. The proportion of Christians was trimmed back 50 percent in Europe and North America over 100 years, while the East and South doubled its Christian percentage of the world population. But will civilization survive after jettisoning the foundations put in place over the period of 1,000 years?
