This week on the Geek Show we take a trip down memory lane as we look at retro media, so join us as we embark on a massive nostalgia-fest. www.thegeekshow.co.uk
Dark was the evening and high were our hearts as we set off on our quest to discover the secrets behind tales of epic proportions. We packed our Kevlar underpants and our prism goggles, some snacks, and The Magic Geek ball as we prepared to wander the internet wilderness in search of the wisdom of the sages. Unfortunately we took an arrow to the knee so we had to return to the studio. www.thegeekshow.co.uk
On this week’s episode we take a look at the world of collectibles and memorabilia, so join us as we find out if limited editions are really worth the money, dive into the murky world of merchandising, and try to discover why people are so obsessed with hoarding things. www.thegeekshow.co.uk
As ever, we continue to evolve, and Animex 2012 saw our very first live recording of The Geek Show. The only problem is that we had more than we could feasibly fit into a two-hour show, so we were forced to get the scissors and make a few cuts to keep to time. That being said, this download version saw us interview some amazing people live on the show. www.thegeekshow.co.uk
Ooooh er Missus. On this episode of the Geek Show we take a look at weapons (but not guns because they’re a bit too easy), and ask why there’s such a big difference in weaponry between Eastern and Western cinema, and why there’s a lack of superheroes with weapons. We also try to work out why we can’t hit people with chairs in games, and wonder if bigger really is better (or does it depend on the situation). Innuendo Overload. www.thegeekshow.co.uk...
Joining us in the studio this week are NTC Promotions, a local firm that organise gigs for some of the best musical talents in the area. We also try to work out why musical cinema suddenly left the mainstream, and ask why music is rarely treated as an integral part of a story (and no, Disney songs don't count). www.thegeekshow.co.uk
This week on the Geek Show, we investigate detectives and mysteries, but in true fashion things don't quite go as planned. We ask a lot of questions to which the answer is Skyrim (no, we don't really understand the link either), so join us as we try to find out who lied about the cake. www.thegeekshow.co.uk
On this episode of the geek show we are joined by Chris Williams and Dougy Pincott from the Animex International Festival of Animation to get the lowdown on what’s on and who to look out for. Also joining us in the studio are Mel Robson and Nyle – a dynamic duo of a uniquely talented model maker and quite possibly the world’s first motion capture guide dog, and together with Dougy they're producing a movie to highlight some of the issues around visual impairment. www.thegeekshow.co.uk...
… and we are back. 2012 promises to be bigger and better for the Geek Show, so stay tuned to find out what we have got planned for all of you lovely people. In the meantime, join us as we take a look back at 2011 at its very best and worst. www.thegeekshow.co.uk
[NSFW] Technically this WAS an MCM Expo interview, but its 30 minutes long and more in with my usual rambliness. Dr. Geoff is the author and artist of the Fetishman series of online comics, and the creator of the ‘First Tea Division’ fictional army. Generally he’s the creator of kinky, steampunky, tea-based, cute… things. http://www.islandofdoctorgeof.co.uk/ .
Unlike certain other, later editions of “Meandering Mic” we stayed on topic… Don’t give us that look, it’s both possible and true -_- FINE! See for yourself: listen as Harry talks to Charlie “Charlieissocoollike” McDonnell, and get a view into the work ‘schedule’ of a YouTube content creator. Also we talk Games, TV, Music and we even play a little game. www.thegeekshow.co.uk
Here is out our Christmas Special, in which we talk about Christmas things like tinsel, the pork sweats and old fat men in red suits… Sorry. This episode marks the end of series 3, coming soon are series 4 to 9 and beyond.

On this action packed episode of the Geek Show, we dive through windows, kick down doors, find out where the best weapons are, and walk slowly away from explosions. No, really. We weren't just playing [insert action game here], honest… Okay, so we wanted to be action heroes too.
Originally broadcast in 2011. Any competition mentioned on air is closed unless mentioned otherwise. Our good friend and colleague Momijisu (she of the usagimimi), decided to take a trip to Eurogamer, so we gave her a mic. Suffice to say she did so well, she scored some very nice interviews. We also talk a little about Steve Jobs, who sadly passed away during the week before the show was broadcast. www.thegeekshow.co.uk
On this weeks episode of the Geek Show, we examine (i.e. argue with each other then go for a pint), the move away from the clean cut, whiter-than-white heroes. Join us as we take a look at the bad good guys, musicians who use “shock” tactics and the rise of the super anti-hero. Oh, and we also wonder why morality systems only have two choices. Seriously, where’s the “I don't care either way so leave me alone” button? www.thegeekshow.co.uk...
