Episode description

Coronavirus developments are coming so frequently that we’re delivering our episode early this week, and it is NOT 👏 TO 👏 BE 👏 MISSED 👏 . Dr. George brings us up to speed on our new COVID-19 reality, including precautions for people with HIV, gay sauna temperature testing and his plea for social distancing and self-isolation. We’re also joined by Anthony Spina, manager of DT's Hotel to discuss how the queer pub would cope with forced-closure, how they’re taking care of their LGBTI elder clientele and the very important role of drag queens in times of crisis. To ease the anxiety, in this week’s After Show we discuss the privileged nature of the self-care movement and ways to approach self-care as a queer person.
