Bix Fields the streets. Hello, Welcome to the Gangster Chronicles podcast, the production of My Heart Radio and Black Effect Podcast Network. Make sure you download the I Heart Happen. Subscribe to the Gangster Chronicles for my Apple users, hit the Purple Michael your front screen, subscribe to Against the Chronicles and leave a start rating and coming ws that and everybody was happening was happening. It's another one. And I got my dog in here tonight was some big Jake saying,

what's happening with your big dog? I miss you man, man, just trying to live man, trying to live up. Check care of that boy, you know, got some issues with my daughter. Bro Um, everything going good, but it's not going good, you know what I'm saying. So you know, my daughter out there Rennegade, and she out there sucking up and she just won't get it. So I let her do a thing, and you know, I got her son and she ain't got to weary body. So other

than that, trying to maintain bro that's all we can do. Man. You know, it's a lot of man that's going on this weekend. I'm not going to live on it too much. But Kanye, don't blew up the damn Internet. That guy's crazy. Yeah, you know something something that's wrong with him. But I'm gonna tell you, James, the one thing I don't like about it. Man, we gotta stop exploiting our brothers. Man, it had never had well, I ain't gonna say that never happened, because it's a it's a lot of black

men getting the picture they're starting to to realize. But Internet, it's not gonna gonna let you or allow us to be on the same page right ever we get there, because everybody is at each other. Thrown on this ship. Yeah, it was, man, And when I say exploit. Man. Don't get me wrong, man, this is what we do for a living man. You know, you want to conduct the best interviews you possibly can. But I don't know about um. I don't know about doing this at the expense of

somebody else, you know. And then don't don't get me wrong, Kanye is very accountable for what he says at his mouth, what comes out of his mouth. But it's obvious that something that's wrong with this guy. Well we've been knowing that, and you start seeing signs when his mother passed. I can remember when his mother passed and how he just lift out. So I think I think a lot of that got to do with it. But you know, the white lives matter of ship and and all that. You know,

I look at it. I look at it from both sides. Nor you know, you asked yourself what the black lives matter me to us? It didn't do nothing for us. You know. I watched this which calling with uh what's the name Canda's once and they got eighty million dollars and they didn't put nothing back in the community. Is nothing from black lives. So here you got Kanye saying pretty much think like she do. And here he's saying white lives matter for whatever reason. Do I agree with it?

I think all lives matter. But when you're thinking about black people, we we we have to lead toward ourselves before we started looking at white lives because a lot of ship has played on us. But can you just suck up in the head kind of But he kind of makes sense to a certain degree. Do I do I agree with that white lives matter thing above black lives? No, I don't. But you know, some things he said makes sense. You know what I'm saying for some stuff he says

makes sense. And then I'm never liked generalizing the people though, James. You know, I didn't agree with the stuff he said necessarily about Jewish people. I have Jewish friends, good friends of mine, and some of the best people I know. I've never done nothing wrong to me. And I think you've got evil Black people, You've got evil Jewish people, you have evil Mexican people, you have evil Asian people.

They are bad people. Yeah, They're they're bad people. And every demographic and everybody, you know what I mean, every culture has they share bad people. So I don't think you can just generalize like that. And I think the one thing with us is the people. Man, if we find it spiritsly and every little thing. You know, Kanye was saying he think that people getting paid just to silence him. I don't know if it's that serious. Bro. Well, when you look at the industry, and you shouldn't know

better than I do. Uh, it is a such thing of being black balled out the music, the music business, uh, the acting business, you know, so it do exist. You can't be black balled. And I think that's what he's saying. They're trying to silence him. I don't know what for what reason, but I think it's possible that they wanted black balling. They don't think he make any sense. He's not doing nothing for our culture the way you're talking. So, I mean, you know, you've got a lot of people

managed to do. He could have these names. But I'll tell you this, man, I was in the music industry for a long time, and you saw a lot of stuff when he was found their death row, some of the parties and stuff like that. Man, just some of the stuff that go on. There's a lot of rich,

realistic stuff that goes on over there. Man. It's there are a whole lot of and I don't want to be too descriptive with it, but it's a lot of games that they play with some of these young boys to come in there, you know, and there's a lot of people when they talk about See, when people think about selling your soul, it ain't about no mystical magical stuff and the devil popping up and somebody dressed in all black in the circle over a pentagram. Note, you

see your soul. Whenever you decide to do things that aren't in your nature in order to advance in your field, that your soul. So if you're not a homosexual man and you decide to partake upon those type of activities, then you have sold your soul, right right, that's true. There are several artists and a lot of them do that I'm not. And you know they assume people today. So I'm not about to say people's names because I

don't have no videos, I don't have no pictures. It wouldn't even be around those six ways when they do what they're doing. But I know for a fact, man, it's several of your favorite entertainments out there that aren't sold out. Man. Yeah, I mean social media. You've got a lot of guys, a lot of people that shell out to do certain things just to just to generate uh lights, muse, oh kind of ship. Man. You know, my friend got an interest in theory about this. I

won't say his name because he's very well known. I might try to get him on the phone if I can to night, and I might try to get him on the phone at night. But he told me something that was very interesting yesterday. Man, he told me, he said, Man, you know, he remembers he was walking down Sunset. One of his partners, she just came from the House of Blues to a concert, and he was walking, you know, the House of Blue. Sometimes you gotta park up the

street that wanted the parking lots. You know, you gotta go pay for parking up the streets somewhere. So sometimes you know, when they're parking lot get full, you gotta go park somewhere else. Right, So he said, him and his buddy was walking back to their car after the concert, right, And you said, cat pulled up on the side of him and try to so listen him a man, you know who it was? Oh, Kanye tried to Solsten. Maybe that'll explain some of the stuff. He got going on

in his mind. You see what I'm saying, because he wanted the rap game so bad. Dog ain't gonna tell him what he had to do to get to where he had. You feel what I'm saying. And now I was catching up with him. See the one thing people don't remember, Man, money ain't the bad and all the money is nice. I wish I had two billion dollars, right, I wish I had two million dollars. But you still came erase what you've done in your mind. If that is the case. The man told me he was walking

down street with his buddy. He pulled up. I couldn't believe it was him. Was that, you know? Like, but he didn't know what he wanted, you know what I mean? And dude, like, man, I ain't with you know, with all that wom but I look at it, you know, teach his own on him, you know what I'm saying. You know, I truly believe he's not the only cat in the Bage's so a lot of other cats that's out there living like that. Is that my business? No? Um? Is that some crazy ship? Yes? But I've been around

some rich people. I've been around people with money and you can never predict what they're gonna do, what they want to do. Some people just have people around them just to have friends or so called friends. So it's a lot of ship that goes on and and that business that you don't want to attach yourself to. So am I gonna put it past I don't put it past nobody. But you know that you know we're not gonna say no names again because we're not the gossip color.

You see what I'm saying. But it's just like you got to do that. We ain't gonna say this thing, but well known actor O G Rapper try to holl that one of the homies. That means you both know you know what I'm talking about, right, Yeah, you know what I'm saying. Ain't go say his name. You'll gotta do your own clues and homework. But he's a well known rapper, well known actor. When the O G is one of the pioneers and hip, I try to have that, Um, I know that's like that, but they never came at me,

so good luck. Yeah, yeah, for real, that's what I said. As long as then you know what, and then I want to say this to our audience. We love everybody, whatever your preferences, do your things right, do your thing, you know. I just think it's crazy though. I do think it's an issue though. Man, when you got cats just doing that to other cats under the guys because they kind of got um over the barrel. They know they have something that they want so they can force

the people on that. And I think it's because I think it's one of those things, James, to be honest with you, they want to catch you up in the bag, so you can't tell no secrets. Now once they get you, once they get you to force that your manhood, they know you can't go back and talk about nothing. We got heard individual has paperwork you gotta sign, so you could never speak on what the is going on our own them. So I think I heard it through with

the amazing and Puffy thing. So if that's true, man, that's some crazy ship. So you can never speak on or come out. You can be sued. So whoever it was signed, that is a grant to whatever is happening. So you've got a lot of cats that participating that ship. You know what I'm saying. It ain't no different from you know these cats that you know cats that being prisoned. If they come home and and back with Betty, you know what I'm saying, but go back to prison and

you know, laying over Rodney. So I mean it's everywhere, but in in a different form. So I mean it don't make it right on no side knowing. I mean, you know, but you know, everybody wants to put everybody business out there and not speaking they fucking dirt because it's some cats that's talking about other people and just as worse as them, but they don't want to air. They launch you feel me, and then give me a whole bunch of a whole bunch of yeah, and then

get mad when when certain individuals are their ship. So you know, I ain't I'm just ain'tle with the tip of tampoo and ship and whatever them cats doing over there. Because they're rich, they do what the funk they want to do. And the way the way social media is and all this other ship, people don't believe what they want to believe anyway, And it don't matter what you say the truth or not, even if he ain't doing that. Once you put it in the air like that, that's

what people believe anyway. So man, But like I said, Kanye, it's different. But if you look at what are you're talking about about, like Black Lives Matter, and then here you got this Candas Owns chick talking about, you know, putting these people out there that that raised eighty million dollars and black people are still where they act. They didn't come and fix nothing that needed to be fixed, and they got this money off off the name of a George Floyd. So you know, what do that tell

you about people that's doing this ship? I mean knowing this is just the funk up world we live in and sometimes that happened to ship. That's this to you. We got to accept it because we're not in a position to change it, none of it. We can talk about it, we can, we can we live the ship, but there's too many people on this planet to change this ship. Well you know the thing he was James,

whenever you have and that's just unfortunate. But it's just not like it's just not the Black Lives Matter Foundation, it's all of these foundations. Man, it's a money play right everybody. Man, I'm gonna tell you, everybody is able to monetize Black pain and struggle. Everybody is doing it

from these podcasters to everybody else. Everybody is able. Everybody is almost out there, like they monetize and black pain, whether that's our mental illness, whether it's you know, this brother's mental illness, because I do think something that's you know, mentally wrong with kind. Yeah, I don't think he's all the way crazy. He's a very intelligent cat. I don't agree with all the stuff he saved, but you don't make too big in dollars just about being a dumb right,

you see what I'm saying. So there's something tune there, and I once again I have to elaborate. I don't agree with a lot of stuff that guy says, but this is America, James, and we have a right to have an opinion, whether that's wrong or right. And that goes from the claim from the man the claim holding the rally talking to a whole bunch of other white folks who don't like us, down to the dude down the fairy con and then in the is Lion brothers.

Everybody has a right to say what they want to as long as they're not hurt nobody, as long as you're not putting your hands on nobody, as long as you're not hurting nobody. You can say what you want to. And I think we in the time in this country to where we overly sensitive. Now, Bro, you can't say nothing true. Anything you say you can lose your livelihood. Anything you say, you could possibly lose your lives here and you say something about the wrong person you true.

But white America has consistently been able to go under the guys of journalism and say whatever they want to about Black America. Like I look at this guy that used to be a UM. He used to be a football coach all Bern. Now he's UM. He's a senator in the state of Alabama. Right now. This guy used to coach UM, you know by me having a son to play college football and all that. Now here in the league. I had them visits to the house to

where the coaches to come in your living room. They sit down and talking to you and your wife, talking about how great they go take care of your kids. This dude, Tommy timber Timberfield is over racist. Used to be to here football coach for Auburn. Now he's out there. You see who the true him? Just amazed not many black nape living rooms. He don't sit in the black alsholds and live to them people, I'm gonna love your son like he mind, I'm gonna take care of him.

But this dude don't even like him. He used this because he needs just to win games. That it is so when people think that just because you're talking about the NBA, NFL or any of them other you know, big mega, multi, big in dollar organizations, all those people, all those organizations are ramped by rich white folks. Now all of them, O praguice, I would be a foolish citip here and say that some of them do. Who's up there? Because I heard the guy that owns New

England is a very good dude, good man. I think that people that the Rooney's the own Pittsburgh, I think they're good people. As a matter of fact, they was the ones pushing to hire more black coaches. But please believe, it's a whole lot of racism and all this stuff. Man, not everybody, but it's there. I believe it. But it's there, and we gotta stop being so. Our vision is real blurry and black people man as black people because we

believe any damn thing. We don't research something and whatever we here online if I come on here and say the most insane stuff. It's some of these people that's gonna take discuss well you like you're saying, we got all these the majority of our some racist coaches without that racist coach coming to sit down at your table and talk talk about all the things you talked about cross taking care of this kid. We're gonna make sure

your kids get the best. YadA YadA. We fight into that ship and we say, okay, right, did you did you research some of the coaches came and shut down with you to see the best or what was the best school for your son to go to? A hundred and ten percent because one thing I knew when I told my son this, because you can kind of get to me, that process ruins kids, right, And I'm gonna tell you why. Because you've got a bunch of prone people. You have a bunch of adults that's pretty much kissing

your ass. Right, you got a bunch of a dolts. You've got a bunch of a dolts that's coming, and they kissed me your ass. They're telling me what they want to tell because they recruit you to come to their school. Right. I told my son this and I told my wife this. Whenever they would say I like this coach, I like that coach. I see all the motherfucker's liars, all of my lives, because they're coming in your house just like they're going to the next twenty

hours that night to give the same ship. Oh you're gonna play your first year when you come here. Man, you look at you gotta just use common sense. You look at the depth chart. You can see. Man, they got dudes that haven't been there for three years already, four years, and you've been playing the last three. You think your son would come just out of high school and not came our position. Come on, man, they will tell you. They tell you whatever they need to tell

you for you to come to school. Now. Don't get me wrong, my son ultimately wound up attending usc best decision we could ever made it as a family because football. We don't know how long that school last form, but that degree you got, messy, it's gonna lasting a long time. See the whole thing else with that stuff, you have to know how to take advantage of the people that's taking advantage of you. You go to school, just don't

be there to play football. Get you an education major in the class that you want to come in because you're a student athlete not athletes student. You gotta remember, they're making millions of dollars. You're not really gonna get what you're supposed to get from them, So you might as well take advantage of it and go up then and get as melean degrees as you can if out of there right right, as many of them as you possibly can. And I think that that's the thing in America.

We live in a very, very racist society. But I'm gonna tell you this, I have never had a white man stopped even doing nothing I want to do right. They've never impeeded in me. And that's where I'm at now. Don't get me wrong. They can make stuff difficult for you if you allow them. That's why you have to walk a certain way and move a certain way. You have to work in perfection. I told all my keys coming up, is that bees and seas ain't good enough.

You have to get a's because you've already got a lot going against you right from the moment you walk into you already have a moment. You already have a lot going against you. So you have to do whatever you can to put yourself up on that next level of where they can't heat on. And I'm a firm believer. I told all my kids, I didn't preach that gospel about get you with the green and go get you a job. No, you go open your own business. Get your own business now. Don't get me wrong. There's nothing

wrong with having the job. Ain't nothing wrong with getting you a job until you get to where you want to be. But I think the plan for everybody should be for them to own their own stuff. Because Daly, James, you can't fire yourself from That's true. I can fire you, you can't fire your self. It's like if you work for a corporation at times get tight. It's not like you gonna say, well, I'm gonna stop paying myself to

keep Jerome up here working. All you go do what you gotta do until you know you might lay off Jerome into your own but you're still gonna be there. But it's not that easy to to start your own business. So I believe, I don't know. I don't know. Um I think the eyes are against us in a sense, yeah they are, But but you know, James, not to cut you off, bro, I'm gonna tell you something. You

know what we had to do, see the problem. But most of our people, not all because I'm not even go to the being generalized all of people, because we're not a minor lift. We're not all the same. But it's different, right, But I'll look at the Hispanic rate. For example, a Mexican would come in this country, don't speak no English, don't got number five dollars in this pocket, and they will get cardboard, palace or whatever they got.

You will see him ride down the street, they go hust Let make fifty trips today just to put food the table at home. I'll mind it because they don't have any they Yeah, they're totally different from the way we get down and our grind. You see them out there picking up cans, man, just in a month. Man, they're making maybe a hundred and eighty dollars a week. You know what I'm saying, Maybe a hundred bucks or a week just picking up cans and and and plastic.

You know what I'm saying. Yeah, for sure. So you know they don't mind, not even percent of them don't mind living together, you know what I'm saying. Where we can live in a five bed room house, just one person when they occupy each and every one of their bedrooms, and they make it easier for them to accomplish, easier for them to save money. That's why when the comedy economy get bad, it's hard us because we can't have nobody else to live in the house with us. We

don't trust nobody, may not be even family. Yeah, I want nobody else in the house with us, James, we don't want nobody in the house with us. We don't want to do certain work. If it's backbreaking work, we don't want to do it. Hell no, I'm not working at McDonald's. Hell no, I'm not lifting the palace. Hell no, I'm not lifting the boxes. You know what we want to do change. We want to sit up and wait for the cavalry to come. But I got a message

for you black people. The cavalry is not coming. Ain't nobody come to your rescue. The only person come to your rescue is you. You are the only one that's gonna come to your rescue. So you have to get off your ass and do whatever you have to do to put food on the table. So when I say open up your own business, it may not start off as no hell of a five stuff. You may have

to start off with this. You may have to start off point like let's say, if you want to buy a truck, right, and you want to go on the truck it, you may actually have to get you a trucking job and save your money up for a few years. But we have to sacrifice. And when I say sacrifice, that means maybe me and my brother get this preeup together. He moved his family and I moved my in. We both saved up and go in on something. I see him do it all the time, James. I'm gonna tell

you someonhen. I was in the liquor industry. Right. I used to visit these liquor stories in south central l A. Right. And when I tell you all those stories were once owned by black people in the seventies and eighties, right, they sold them all. Now it's mostly Asian people in the right. You know what I would see these Asian people do. I had had a good buddy of my name Kimp on the liquor store. Right. I think it's

Western liquor. Right. So the whole time I was there, I was going to every Thursday and see Kim take his order. Now, was it cool? Dude? Always tell me get you something to drink? Want some chips? You know he's cool dude. Right, I come in there. The next year he induced me to his brother and I said, where are you going? Man? Where are you going? Right? He would tell me, um, oh, I'm going to open up this other store. We just bought this other store.

So obviously the brothers stay there and see Kim slipping the back of that store on a mattress. He had a little palette back there. They had a rice cooker. James and this dude he was working there. I were coming there seven in the morning, right, if I came, if you're going that store at nine o'clock the night, you would see him there. Now his brother is living in the store. Right. He don't gave his brother that story.

Him and his wife they got a little bit of room back, They got a right because they live humble. They saved their money, and these liquor stores is making money, right, making big money, so they would save their money. Now him brought him a house. His other brother don't bought him a career. Now, then they had a sister come over. They have a certain program James. Let me tell you, man, we expect someone to do us a favor all the time,

do us a solid. I ain't had nobody to do me a solid yet a life on fifty two years I've been walking this earth. I've had a few good people give me opportunities, but I had to be able to take advantage of them opportunities and the work to keep it going. You see what I'm saying. We blame everybody for our condition. True, we have had it harder than everybody else, but that means we have to work ten times harder. Right our thing right there. It's like

me having the podcast network. Dog, when I tell you I get a million people coming me every day trying to do podcasts. Right, I have, yet, I've yet the whole time I've been doing this, have somebody come to me and tell me, hey man, let me learn about the sales side of the business. Let me learn this side of the business. No, every we always want to be a friend of the camera, dog or in charge

of something. But we're not prepared, dog, because we're not willing to start here and go here and take them baby steps. Because we wanted how we we wanted, how we wanted. We don't want to live with nobody else. Like you said, we don't say, hey, you know what we can do? Good. I'm gonna tell you something. I asked one of my family members, maybe ten fifteen years ago. It was for all of them houses in North County went up, right, you know, not them house with two

or three million dollars. Right there was a house that was maybe for six fift I asked one of my relatives, Hey, man, we should buy that house right there, six bed room house, right, six bed room house. Man, I can't live with nobody else. I can't do it. Guess what, bro, guess what. Nine months later he was sleeping in my living room. But he can't live with nobody. He can't do nothing. It's like, man, we play ourselves all the time. Bro, right, we play

ourselves all the time. We stuck on the dump stuff. I don't even think we have a solution for it. I think, you know, we would get better if everybody take accountability for the ship they do and where they want to go. But I don't. We really don't have a solution. So where did we go there? Where are we gonna be? In the nixt Let's say ten years. Man, it's gonna be rough because I'm gonna tell you. I'm

gonna tell you, James, we wasn't end it. Sometimes in this country that's something parallel, dog, And I'm gonna tell you we just like everybody else. Man. You know, this is a job, man. We're not living in the laft luxury is cool, you know what I mean, it's cool. But this is a job though, and I think about it every day. Man, where this country is head man, as far as um, it's not there. You remember they

had those good union jobs. You know, you hope to get you one of those good union jobs to where you could work on the docks and make fifty sixty an hour. Those opportunities ain't there no more. Those opportunities aren't as a funditness they used to be. So we really, really man have to make our own opportunities. And that's that. That's one of the great thing about podcasting. But it's like anything else. We see something the term you know, at first it was hip hop. People saw people start

making a lot of money. They thought that was making a lot of money making music. So you got everybody and their mama want to wrap. Now it's the podcast thing. Everybody and their mama got a podcast. I'm seeing niggas with podcasts and don't have no business having the podcast because they hold premises just being missing. The whole thing is just to cause confusion and chaos, you know what I mean. So that's what it is. And it may not be no solution, man, But this whole thing with Kanye, man,

I know, nori them for drink chance. They got a lot of flag. He got a lot of flag because you know homeboys, um dudes. Family is talking about suing him. Now they actually are. I think they are taking them a court George Floyd's George Floyd's family because you know, the whole thing about Kanye saying he didn't die from that that police officer didn't kill him. He died because he had fetting on him system. And see that's him listening to the candidates owns documentary. But no, that whit

that that police officer killed that man. Everybody saw him. So Kanye was very ignorant for making that statement. Right for making that statement. So they go through the brakes off of them. They will get paid now hopefully. I don't necessarily think it's fair to nory them get dragged into that because that man was just a guest on

his show. I shouldn't be responsible for with somebody else saying if I messed around and say some crazy stuff not in the show, James, I don't think you should be able to come before that because I said, Well, they mad at Neury because Neury like too, took the show off his page, off off they show. Uh. He apologized for having Kanye only or some ship. So that's why I think people it's getting it getting the tuition because they said that he turned his back on Kanye.

I don't believe he turned his back. I think, you know, we don't pay attention to the ship. We save what we do or who we have as a guest, and you don't know where it's gonna come out of their mouth. But I think people need to when they do these podcasts, go back and look at certain ship and and be the judge of it before they put it out there. But they was live though, right, yeah, man, there was there was You know what the thing is, there was a pre recorded show. But you have to think about

the whole premise of Drink Champions. The show they only are getting tank and talking ship. So I think when the drinks getting going, because you could be in the midst of a conversation change that it was true. I don't think Lord Norri was telling a lot. Necessarily. You can be here from there having a good time to get the talking, and you realize the next day you get come for the moment. Like, damn, he said all

this right, he says, as I've done it before. I went back and listening to episodes and be like, damn, I don't even remember talking about all that. You feel what I'm saying for the most part. For the most part, I do think to a certain an extent though, that my man Noor he was trying to get himself up bout the situation. He's like, oh, he probably didn't amagine it would go this far, right, He probably didn't amazine to go this far, you know, So he's trying to

save your face right now. You know, Hey, if I had people trying to assume me, maybe I'll be on this doing the same thing. It's hard to say what you would and wouldn't do in a siituation, you know what I'm saying, But I knew I would have damn should have been on that scene. Hey, those are his views and his opinions. They didn't come out with my mouth father him about that, right right, hover had him about that. It's a crazy situation, man, is you know Kanye Don't said a lot of crazy ship when he

was talking about running for president. You know, with Donald Trump, you know what you think about you know him and and multiple others out there wish that Donald Trump was still the president. I mean, we could be mad to say them niggas is crazy. But you know, I got a friend that really believed that Donald Trump did get more for us that Obama. That's your opinion, but I mean, you know him, shoot you yeah, shoot you so yeah.

But but when he talked you, you know, I listened to him and then it's like, wow, you really believe like that. But you know, I'm not I'm not in the politics that way to really just say you're right or wrong. But you know, James, not to cut you off, bro, but did it really even right or wrong? Because truth, she has a right to have his opinion that far, just like I have a right, you know. And that's the thing. We should be able to disagree on some things and still be cool because at the end of

the day, to be honest with your change. Ain't none of them being then for us? Not a day I want to them. Don't get me wrong. I love Barack Obama, but he didn't do nothing. Every present think that's been in the office, every president has been in office. My life hasn't changed, not one bit. I don't care who've been in there. My life is still the same, same program, still run the same way. I have yet to go to my mailbox after succcess get elected and get it

checked for a million dollars. Until that happened, all of them the same. Ain't none of them ship to me? Right? I was I happy to see Barack Obama get elected. Yeah, it was a very pivotal moment in America to see a brother get elected in office, him his black wife, and his black children. I thought that was a beautiful thing to see them race, you know, see them brace the White House, the walls of the ruins of the

White House. I thought that was a beautiful thing. But as far as them doing something for us, no, because I don't think no president is in position to do nothing. And I think presidents take orders just like everybody else. You just just a figurehead. You just go figurehead. So do voting matter? Do you vote? Yes? I do, mhm, because I'm gonna tell you it does matter to a certain I think when you get to the level of

the presidency, I think there's so many moving pieces around that. Yeah, because one thing about it, we don't want to put the one thing we don't want to do. We don't want to put a psychopath in the White House, like I don't. I don't want my keys that have to go off the war because we got a dictator in the White House now and he praised and we over there fighting Russia and everybody else in Afghanistan whoever else, because he don't lost his mind, right. So I think

it's very important to vote. But our votes that matter the most though, the votes that matter the most of the local ones, Like we don't never go out and vote for who mayor or who are city council. We

ignore all that maile when it comes. And I used to ignore it, but then I realized, I said, man, shoot, those are the people that that's affecting my day to day right there, because when they do a little sneaky stuff like sneak taxes in their own or raise certain fees and desire that they go do this and do that. That affects you, that that affects your bottom line personally. You know. It's just like when they snuck the old

thing in there, the word we pay for bags. Now, even though there ain't number ten cent James, we voted to pay for something. We didn't have to pay for it for you understand what I mean. And they always do it under the guise of or we're doing this the same environment. This don't got nothing to do with the damn environment. You're doing this because you want to tax something. It's just like when they raised cigarettes California

tobacco presses of the highs of the country. If you smoke a pack of squares, how much of a pack of square is called? You? Now two dollars? Okay, you pay twelve dollars for a pack of cigarettes? How many packs of cigarettes smoke a week? I smoke a packet day, A little little under a packet day, so I think I buy four packs a week. So that's uh, that's what I'm saying. That's damn the two hundred dollars a month, right, a little bit under two hundred dollars a month. Just

image this. Someone smoke a pack of cigarettes every day, you feel what I'm saying. Sometimes some people smoke two or three backs. There's really people don't there like that, you know. So the thing is now, now cigarettes are horrible. I think they do horrible things to your body. Has They've been proven to do bad stuff to you. But that is your choice, is a grown man. And if you want to smokenn so that's your choice. You feel

what I'm saying, that is your choice. So so if you want to smoke cigarettes, chow the back or whatever you want to do. They're putting these taxes on because they're saying, oh, this is gonna discourage people. No, I'm gonna tell you this, home boy, somebody has been smoking for the last twenty years. They ain't gonna stop smoking them. Because you don't raise the prices on them, you just

hindering that person. Now you're taking more money from not because as hard as they helth with smoking cigarettes, well, it's a lot of people that they have quick you know, so it do throw the balance off of the money that they really would have made. But going from I remember serious was three dollars and something to eighty five, and and that's I was eighteen seventeen smoking cools m from the county jail from eighteen too to my age.

Now I'm smoking camels. So some places camels are let's say, fifteen dollars, fourteen dollars and the lawds i've seen was twelve. So you know, they still make a lot of money. They still like make a lot of money knowing that they're not good for you. Why they don't van cigarettes in in in general period? And I really believe cigarettes are bad, but we gotta get off this country. We have a problem in America that where everybody wants to tell everybody else how to live based on what they believe.

You feel what I'm saying now, does that mean that we should go legalized cocaine? And look the people, you know they want to store the smoke, cracking and all they do so freely without no consequence. No, no, I'm not saying that. But if you smoke cigarettes, if you drink liquor, if you smoke weed, ain't I'm talking about all the legal stuff right, If that's what you do,

that's if you are of age of proper age. I'm against kids doing all that stuff, not right, But if you go over the proper legal age, you should be able to do what the hell you're going to. That's the thing. We have people in government and in life theory that want to put their issues off from everybody else,

and they belief system. You seel what I'm saying. They want to tell people when we're gonna tax this because you're doing too much of this is like, that's why the federal government has happened all the way legalized marijuana yet because they've figured out a way for them to get somebody. That's what it's all about. They don't give a damn about your health, James, you can smoke. They're

making money now, not from marijuana. All of these dispensaries and all that ship they're kicking in, so they found a way to make money off of it, you know

what I'm saying. But I'm gonna tell you, James, what they're trying to figure out how to do, because I'm gonna tell you the price of marijuana has went down significantly because there's so much of it now right, so much that what may have cost one what may have cost at one time for some top tier killer, it may have been thirty five hundred pound before now you can go get that twelve hundred pounds maybe a thousand, maybe a thousand, So that knocks everything down. I'm gonna

tell you what they're doing. They are setting it up for them to be able to monetize it themselves the moment. Pretty soon, James, it's like you're gonna buy your pack of cigarettes of the store. You're gonna be able to go to the store pretty soon seven to eleven and you go see a pack of Philip Moore's up there, cool sativa indica. You know what I'm saying, um cookies. So you're gonna see all that in the store. I'm telling you, James, you can look up there in seven eleven.

Because they're gonna take this out the hands of a smaller man. They're gonna put it in the hands the clocks, right, and then that's when we really have to start warring, because they're gonna take some ship that came from the dirt and they're gonna start adding all kinds of other ship to it to make it to where you can't stop smoking about They're gonna make it do where you can't stop smoking because if you look at the strains of weed that they creating right now, James. It ain't

like the weed that my daddy might have smoked. You see what I'm saying. That weed from the sixties, there was just plain old grass. It's coming from the earth. Right. They are doing so much ship to this weed to try to give motherfucker's as high as they possibly can. They raised the THHC levels and this stuff as high as they possibly can, doing all kinds of stuff to us.

So I'm gonna tell you it's gonna get worst. They gonna start adding all kind of ship to it, and motherfucker's will be coming up with cans from all kind of ship. Why seat, I tell you, bick go, Why see, I tell you this a whole bunch of man that's going on. Yeah, they will have all kind of stuff going on with it, man, Because the thing is, they don't give a damn about our health. It's all about the dollar. The American government is all about the almighty

dollar from the wedding taxes on everything. You think about it. When we go to the store, we pay taxes on things we purchased. Right, how many times when you go to the grocery store? How many times? And we can go to the grocery store twice. Okay, you go twice a week. You got a growing boy in the house to stay, probably eating up all the cereal and bringing up all that you so you stay at the go. You know what I'm saying. You got a little family over there, right, so we already pay taxes on that.

You go to work for eight hours a day, pretty much eight of the morrows you work. You might well chopping up the three of them going straight to together because by the time you get finished paying for fighta So security on top of the taxes, and now remember social Security, we would never see James, we would never see opinion of social Security. I know for a fact, I'll put a lot of money into my stuff right just being you know, over the years, just being being

in this stuff, right, being in and stuff. When I turned they raised the retirement age. It seemed like every year. I remember at one time the league of the age to retire and you can get social security was sixty years old. You know what it is now? My social set when I was seventy years old, damn there. So I remember at one time, Bro, I looked at my arm so I looked at my social Security thing. It said I couldn't retire when I was sixty eight years old.

Who the hell wants to wait that late to stop working. It's not like they can give you the money. So it's like, all that money I'll put into the system, it's not like they got that money in the bank account. So we're waiting for me. So let's say I don't put over my whole life. Let's say I don't put two hundred thousand dollars into the system. Right, It's not like when I turned six or seven, they're gonna send me a shake or give me a bank deposit of

a couple hundred thousand dollars. No, I don't work that way. They go spoon feeds you the money, and when you die, it's not like they keep giving the money somewhere. If that money go, it's a hustle dog. It's the best hustle ever devised dog. It's the greatest hustle every playing dog. Because you think about it, you retire, you retire. Right, Let's say you live for two or three years. Let's say you're lucky and you live two or three years.

Let's say you live five years, you die. That's a whole bunch of money because they ain't paying nuber the couple they made you might get the thousand dollars a month. I believe some stuff like the eight hundred dollars a month which ain't really meant to leave off. So it's like, if that's what you're depending on for your retirement, you're in bad shape. You're a horrible shape. So by the time you retire and die, that money don't set up there. Just think about it. All of these people in this

country don't pay to that. They and they talked about we don't have no money though, where's the money yet? Right? Right? And for all these taxes I paid off, for all these taxes, for all these different things that were forced to pay into, I don't benefit nothing off of that dog. Where do we benefit from him? America's designed this way, James, Either you the motherfucker disk go go out and build

you a business and make your money. And if you can tuck a little bit to the side to where you could you know, you know how to work serving stuff to where you may not have to pay as many taxes. Snap Like you saw Donald Trump, They said that man paid five on the dollars and taxes. Dog one year. That was crazy. You feel what I'm saying. No he knew what the beat said. I'm I'm not mad at that. I wish I knew where his tax man was. If he can get away with that, I

want to do it too. But the thing he is broke, Jay got us set up for failure. Dog. It's almost like we set up for failure. It's almost like you are better off if you got you aside hustle dog to where you're doing something and you're making a nice little chunk of money from it and able to kind of get cash cash and carry gonna you gotta me you win it, right, But you better pay some taxes every year though, so they don't give him your asses.

That's when you get caught. I would pay me, man, if I had a way to get away with stacking them. Even if I had a way of stacking the extra thirty forty every year, why I had to pay taxes on it, I would still pay some taxes on something. I wouldn't just not pay taxes. I would pay just enough to keep them off my ass. Not be suspicious of me, because you see that through motherfucker's in jail. Right. If you don't pay them. If you don't pay your

tax billing, you don't take money. Yeah. So this whole world, man, pretty much it's founded on gangster principles. Dog, Gangster priscipals to me. But the motherfucker taking money from you when you can't do nothing about it. What they call that extortion? Yeah, called we're being extorted all legally, we're being extorted. Dog. I'm gonna tell you right now, if I hard called us, if I already hit us James and said, hey, we're giving y'all two million dollars the next season, I'll be

happy as hell. But I'll say, James, Ship, don't get too happy. We only getting five thousand apiece and the government taking the rest of that ship. Oh you know by the time we split up there and we can have even less, you know what I mean, Ship, I forgot about eight, right, you know what I'm saying. So

we're gonna be We're gonna be jacked up, dog. But the only thing we can do, man, I think the only thing we can do, Dog, is we need to get off this internet for a little bit, Dog and start really coming up with a master playing for ship the lives of black people, Dog, Because and and the way stuff feels now, James, I don't want to be one of them dudes talking about the young people dog because they are who they are and they either way, they are because of us, because of the predecessors. Right,

m hmm. It's it's not really the young people. It's the young people that's listening, But it's the older people that's not showing the younger people. The older people are the ones just out here reckless. You know what I'm saying, um Man, You know you can't point the finger at neither side because you know what what he said, what I say, what you say? People listening to it, Some key to it, some don't, Some don't want to hear. What what Norma James or this other person another person

got to say. But a lot of other people tune into it. So it's not balanced. We're not balanced. Social media is not balanced. So as long as you have this, I truly believe that we were better off without social media. Now that you have it, everybody knows everybody, everybody knows in in everybody's business. Everybody can voice an opinion on this person and that person, and we are biased when

it comes to certain individuals. You know, you know, I look at our Kelly said, you know, I look at a lot of ship that you know, this one person got thirty years, but this person beating it. You know what are we to say? Oh, it is difference because the circumstance as his word, and the same man working with a teenagers working with a teenager regardless? What what what could be different to be just different when you have the same fucking scenario? Man, is you know um

child pornography? Oh he only got a year because he didn't show this. If you take a picture of a boy with his shirt off a girl with a shirt off and they're under age, it's what's the fucking difference? So you know what you no, I believe. I tried my best not to get into it like that because if you know, sometimes our opinions don't matter. But you know, this is it ain't it ain't just race. It ain't just race that play a part in our ship as

black people. You know, everything is against us and then we're against ourselves. So it makes it one thirty. You know what I'm saying, This ship ain't fifty fifty. We gotta fight everybody else to get where we want to go. Now we don't fight our motherfucker itself to get halfwhere where we want to go. Because what black people understand is let me get it while I get it. It's right here. Let me get it and fuck him, fuck him,

fuck her and fuck this. Then you got some women I'm gonna suck my way to the top of I'm gonna do this to get here, and I don't give a damn about the next black motherfucker that get it. And then some of them don't want to see the friend that that that other person get it like that, you know what I'm saying. So, man, the hoys are just against black people in general, man, because we put ourselves in a situation to to to you know, man, it's it's so crazy, so you gotta learn how to

just you know. To me, it's basically it is what it is. And then when we get older, like myself, we sit back and you know, you'll be like, damn, now I see the difference in in life and living. How hard it is to live. Man, I go to the fucking market, I get a half a basket of ship, no him, and it's two That's what I'm saying. Dog. You know, sometimes in this country, dog. I remember I went to the gas station the other day, right, and I left my own I left my debit card at

the house. You know, in my pocket, I have my wallet, but I have my Definit cards and all I have was twenty bucks there. And I was dropping my daughter off somewhere, so I said, you know what, I'm fump this twenty and I can pump games and not come back. I remember it was the time, James and twenty that much money, especially that the gas truck I drive, right,

so you know I put twenty in there. My ships still saying it was only though still saying it was on said, damn, man, I remember, you know you get used to get the pump twenty fire back to day, you quarter tank of gas. You was rolling a little bit, you know what I mean? Now you gotta mean, and it's like this. I filled up. I filled up a few weeks ago, though, and it was damn the three

like a couple of dollars. Dogins you changed. Hey, it ain't worth just riding around for nothing, because you're gonna put gas, like going to l A and back here. You you start off on the full tank and then when you get back you're down there the half you keep going. Yeah, so yeah, everything is changing, man, and the and the coast of living is It's ridiculous, bro, It's ridiculous. You know, electric Waterville. Man, I had a

motherfucking Waterville last one one dollars. I went to the water company, cut of these mother clubs out, telling them there's only two motherfucker's in this house. But what one of the ladies was trying to explain to me that they even raised the the usage how much it is for the usage of water. Now you know what I'm saying out here, ain't number fucking rocks, ain't got no swimming pool in the back, but they've raised the ship up so high you you basically pay double down their

triple in your lecture and your utilities. So they're making it's so motherfucking so hard for people and everybody dealing with it. It ain't just black people, but everybody got everybody dealing with it. Yeah, and I'm talking about it ain't no more middle class because it used to be the way you had a certain segment of the country. It used to be not a certain segment of the country. You made a certain amount of money. And he was

considered straight. I remember when I was coming out of college, I was thinking if I could find me a gig fifty fifty five thousand and year. You gotta remember this nine one ninty, this like ninety three, right, you know, a graduating college. I'm thinking, like, give me a gig fifty fifty five sixty. You was kind of like at the pinnacle. You you know you had a good life. You get married, you know it starts you with life. But that ain't she James, It ain't there no more.

It's like you know that right there? You almost you almost improbably Hey, I got this special phone called coming up. Hold on, let me see if I can get him in there. Hold over a second, all right, I got my home boay from for now we go call him John doecuse, I don't want to got some big stuff going on, so I don't want to message things up. So so tell us all this situation to curb what

exactly happen brows five two. I'm walking up point out and towards ya will shoot right, And Tany was sitting outside the party all of a cafe that that that I'm a walk past awten passed by this and they do. He started licking his lips and ship like you're trying to cruising him. It's like, you know what I'm saying, you're from the shoots. You know, his nibs don't lick the institude, you know what I'm saying. I was truly offended by all that bullshit. You know, it's you know

what I'm saying. It's just, you know, I could elaborate more, but that's really what that is. You know, I think it's she's trying to cruise and making ship. We'll elaborate a little bit more, big, don't do it? Would you that that's really really what it is? And you know, you just you know, it seems you see when he's trying to pull a move on you and shoot you out. You know, how do you get them? Yeah, I don't

get the like status such. You know, I'm sorry, you like I kind you know, he played He's a he's a C G C type of thing. You know, he switched out, you know, switchy switching. So let me let me ask you this, because we were talking about these cats that's you know, trying to get in the red game and stuff. And I was telling James about some

of these little rispals. These dudes be having Man, how often do you think that, because you are really major figure out there, how often do you think that happens in Hollywood? Man? The word dudes just really like, thank do you be like selling their souls to get in the game. And yeah, I don't even think they got to go Hollywood no more. I think they do it on their Instagram and and and the dudes who look at to do solicit them get on the Instagram. That's

how I'm really going down now. Like back in the day, they'd probably be having you know, casting couch whatnot. You know, they don't need to do all that ship no, because Instagram turn a chicken to a how and a tune into a cold boy. You know, if they're not doing that, they're snitching on themselves. And Pobis is watching and see only for so let me ask you this bro now, and I'm I'm gonna call you after this right now, let me ask you this bro, who you think is

the biggest victor meiser out there right now? Like, who's really like putting people through a lot of changes in the industry. Wow, it's cold, man, I Mean I really don't think that's really happens such anymore due to the fact that, as I said to you, uh, people turn themselves out now. They don't need a wrangle, they don't need to grow. They are so they out to you, Groom, don't make these guys. These guys know what to do now.

After Harvey Weinstein became kind of change in Kenned space, you know a lot of people really got sucked up doing all that type of ship, you know, and and it's just social media has changed the whole way of of of of kind of filable, you know, just human human traffic. You know what I'm saying, Yeah, for so man, for so, for so man. Well, I don't think you could. I don't think you could put a person on that tack,

is what I'm saying. You're feeling like a girl doesn't need someone to take it to the value to make a point. No more. She's just in the camera. She got her own, She's soliciting herself now on this camera. She doesn't need anyone. And that's why it's legal. Yeah, people were coming in already somewhat somewhat. Groom, you can't isn't done. You know what my man James says, so so people are coming in someone group their expectations of

what they're wanted to do, right right. Yeah, So I'm listening to what he's saying, and basically, you don't have to be solicit to to do certain ships or be a part of certain ship. They're coming in with that mindset already. I mean, it's that crazy that people already know that this is what it's gonna take for me to get to the top or to be a part of a certain kind of you know, group in the

in the business, regardless of what business that is. They already know what time and he was he said, because James, I'm gonna real with you, Dog, I've been in some parties, dog, like in the um, like in Calabasas and different places. Dog, did I've had to walk right out because you you know what I'm saying. You go use the bathroom and walk fast the wrong room. You see all kinds of stuff going. You'd be like, what the hell was having there? Hey?

Then used to had this thing in Hollywood where I think it started at one o'clock twelve or one o'clock, and it would go all fucking morning, all through the day. And when you go in there. It was underground and they had the drugs, the peels, the alcohol, the whole nine. Motherfucker's was getting so loaded. Me and my boys show boat went to one and we never went back. But you had women walking around there. You see titties, you see everything. It's it's like the wave of today. But

it was in a secluded area where they party. And that was the craziest ship I've ever seen in my life. Two, watch all of these people. You've seen some superstars there do on drugs. Remember when uh that their ship was out, Uh the drug don't do drugs? Yeah sure, yeah, man, you had motherfucker's that that that did that was said don't do drugs, but was doing drugs like a motherfucker. A man, I'm gonna tell you this bro that I'm gonna tell you what they think. He was dog with

these parties. And I don't you know, I ain't into the whole drugs and all that stuff, man, but I used to always triple them kiss because they was popping the ext and I always wonder what it was they'd be taking them A little heart shake peels were all a little weird writing on them, colors and stuff, and they take that stuff. Man, they just go to a place and I think that they excuse dog, and it's like they just started doing all kind of crazy and

wild stuff. You know. My one partner told me that, you know, allegstly, this is some of My partner told me that, Um, you know, Kim Kardashian had a whole bunch of different boyfriends, right, you know, before she married Kanye. At one time she was married to this one producing and um, my guy, he used to run you know, my guys into some crazy stuff. He runs these parties, like he runs these events for the swingers and stuff like that. Right, you know, he runs the events for

the swingers and stuff. So you see people in they're doing anything, married people and stuff like that. Right. He told me that Kim and that guy when they was together, I was frequently up there. That was the thing. You know. And this is before she got like really famous, famous and stuff. But that's what she was into, you know what I mean, That's just what she was into. It was crazy, you know what I'm saying, old man, We appreciate you guys. Tuning in is one of them conversations.

To night. Me and James had a lot of little stuff to talk about. We appreciate you guys. Well. That concludes another episode of Against the Chronicles podcast.
