When I writ y'all all across the USC Compton Watts Bank to l A from on the California Valley. The valley we represent that Kelly County. So if you're keeping it reil on your side of your town, you tune into Gangster Chronicles. Gangster the Goals are gonna tell you how we go. If I line my nose a brol like Pinocchio, We're gonna tell you the truth and nothing but the truth. Gangster Chronic Goals. This is not your average show. You're now tuned into the rail m c A,

Big James and Big Spills from the streets. Hello, everybody, welcome to another episode Against the Chronicles podcasting up with my home voice Nick Jay Jill and we got a very very special guest to Night Man thirty albums in a lot of people can't make it past two albums one that little one album. You know. I've seen him man like the late b I g C. I saw my man go from Ashley Classy started out on hyper Power Entertainment. Man back in the day. I don't knowing

meet him go back. Man. Don't done a lot of things together. Man. You know one of my favorite rappers, Man I can't put him in no category. You know what I'm saying. One of my favorites. He hard man. He've done songs to everybody. Man. We got my homeboy, Mr Criminal looping here. What's what's up with you? Man? I'm just keeping that yeah for show man. Were up here, man in your brand new facility. Man, you know I want to start off with obvious. Man. Everybody know you

put on gangster rap music. It ain't never been nothing, no different. You ain't never compromise your style. You ain't never did nothing. You kept from the day you came up there, from the day to sea was planning. You just kept a gangster. So I'm sitting in the crib one night, man, and my daughter keeps telling me about this movie with Will Smith is some aliens and stuff, and I'm like, man, I don't really want to see this, you know, but I mean having daddy and daughter time,

you know what I mean? So we got like movies. She take it serious. I look up on the TV and you know he've been about to fall asleep, and I say, hold on, I've stopped thinking she getting mad or one? Thats you on that man? Criminal? Man? How did you do it? From putting off some of the hardest gangster rep music in the world. Being on the fields with Will Smith man man, it's uh ship, I just walk the path that I feel like it's desk it for me at the end of the Dad never

tried to act in my life. I never thought about acting, never thought it was possible. Um. I got an email one day. I was on the bus with the homies, climbing around smoking blunts of Texas, and I just kept getting these emails, a real, real persistent and like a you know, uh, I wanted to get you in. This movie with Will Smith is kind of bush and I'm like, come on. I kept on racing that ship. I was like, this is bullshit, nobody trying to get me in on movie.

It's kind of like those I always joke about, like yeah, Nigerian prince trying to wire you a million dollars type of email. And I'm sounding like some scamship, you know. I kept out erasing and racing, and then finally the fifth one was like urgent, we need We're just about to start fitting and the ship. I'm like, man, let me click this ship. So I clicked it and I hit the text on it, you know, and went straight to La like, oh criminal, we will trying to get

a hold of you. You You know, David are the one that wrote and direct the Training Day. He's a huge, huge family of music. He really wants to get you in this movie. He has a speaking role for you the whole nine. I still was like, is it's real? And she's like yeah, we get your popping like right now, and they just pull up. We'll talk about this ship later or whatever. Next day, like two days later, I was in Hollywood doing fitting and came back from torn

on On sat around whist me. So that's how I can't even say other than that, Like, like you said, man, some pastors be chosen, though you want one of them chosen cats? Man, Man, you know it wasn't Independence Day, right, yeah, the man, it was a pretty dope film. It was a pretty dope picture. And then you know that Pete curiosity right there. Man home you know, I'm proud was I'm like, man, that's the home right there. So then

I look up. You don't do your stuff with shield a buff and all kind of stuff, man, So as they call it Hollywood man, man, they just started blowing me up. The next thing all. A couple of weeks later, I got an agent and then next you know, they flew me to Mexico City. I shot a forty three country in a national Spotify commercial and that ship did really well for me. Uh really changed my life. And then uh, I got a call maybe like two weeks after I got back from there to go to Canada

to shoot from a month with Kate Dunk. I still um, im me, they'll eve had fucking George Lopez. I would basically one of the lead roles in the movie called chickanover to the real Road East from my coach. Next you know, that ship just started taking off. Box show started putting me on. I'm a CBS reads. It's just like non stop. I mean just the other dad just did another one for spots, so we just not stop

out here. Man, I gotta give it up for your boy, because that's like incredible ship man not I said, I'm super proud of you, dog, because you get people out here where we at, man, Hollywood disappointing the sunshine of dreams. Right, You get people to spend their whole life calling themselves actors and stuff. But then the ge home, you just get a call. It's like people want this authentic ship right here. So I think some stuff is just meant to be. Yeah, yeah, sometimes you need uh that ambiance

of of real ship. You know, they sort of need that in some of these films, especially these films that depict or portrayed uh you know, real street life or situations that arise like that. So I directors reach out to you know, uh, brothers who associated to the streets so to speak, you know what I'm saying, or got that background that's been associated to the streets. They're just looking for that authentic exactly like somebody can relate to

criminal you know what I'm saying. When people see him, oh do some gags? You know what I'm saying. Did he a real humboy? It is? He a real only man? Like I said. Man, And so I'm gonna go back to the very very beginning. Man, I'm We're gonna go way back. Man. We're gonna go to step and as Bill Walker days, motherfucker's had to come up to the office and get their chicken chicken motherfucker's And you go

back to that man he was on there. Man. You started with the Honi Camponi and y'all met a little rider show, right, yes, sir, and we're rolling for them. How long was How long was that process going? Ship? I was signed a high power for the first seventeen years of my career and six teen years of my career, kept the loyal kept a solid did what I had to do, and it just kept came to a point where I was like, I appreciate playing my position and

I never tried to outshine my master. But at the end of the day, it's like, you gotta upgrade and get past that. For the year, a lot of mentality sometimes, you know what I'm saying, because I don't read that ship thirty three Strategies of War, and I'm like, funk this not trying to shot outshine your master ship. It's time for me to boss up into my ship, you

know what I'm saying. So once I shut that mentality home, mean my my ship just opened up and it's been blessing six Yeah, just opened up because I can't stepped on nobody's toes. Not to cut you off, but a lot of people step on toes and this people in disrespect and feel like they gotta do that, Like we didn't respect of what you didn't slammed the door going up and saw men supposed to do it. You know, it wasn't no beef because at the end of the day,

the homie help you start your career. I wouldn't be where I was if I didn't get that opportunity. And I always say that I would never a badmouth on me because first of all, I ain't no bad blood period and the second of all, fucking I wouldn't be a household name in my community if it wasn't for

that opportunity. That's really stuff because company he was out there getting you know this, and if you bought him, but he was getting down for a ship, you have to you have to respect him, you know what I mean. You have to respect the hustle on the ground man. So we gotta be both ways to you know what I'm saying. The person got to allow you to spread your wings and not hate, so to speak, so it won't be no slamming up the door on the way

out and speaking on that. It was crazy because when I posted him out, I still had to keep it real. I still owe him threat and I just seen my ship going a different questions I like mine I've been putting in so much work for this, for this empire for so long. I'm ready to do my ship, you know. And when I and I hate him, that's why I gotta keep it real. He was real with you, you know what I'm saying. He was like, Man, I ain't trying to hold you back. It's trying to do it.

You trying to do your thing, handling the ship. But you know what doing you showed him a lot of loyal because I'm pretty sure I hear the rumplings and stuff, you know, like man, you know, sex sux, trying to get that criminal. It was people because you wonder a few and I don't like to use the terms to kinda wrappers. You wanted the future kind of rappers that people in the black community actually missed with. You know what I'm saying that they like listen to I'm talking about.

I don't seen kids righting down street bumping your stuff. So you kind of crossed over, man. And I always knew that she was gonna be bigger than that, you know, me and fingers just to talk about all the time, man, you know, criminal man kind of you know what I'm

saying that I was shining the master stuff. Sometimes it's just a natural progress and people just go like this because your rhyme skills and starts just getting like, you know, like his pain just a getting really dangerous because how it was you when you first looked it with him. I was a fresh out of my fourth term as in the JUVENOCX Barding the States and Falls ten, So I was like fresh out eighteen years also eighteen through ship. Yeah, you gave him most of your doing life, you know

what I'm saying. So you was loyal. Yeah, I could see that, you know what I'm saying, Nothing but that you know it's say, man, let me go do your thing, because you did it so stepping out on your own. Man, you no longer head like that. That back and everything was on you at that point. Did you have kind of everything pre planned already? Did you already get together with your crew and say this is what we're gonna

lay out and this is what we're gonna do. To be honest with to a lot of my people were telling me I should have been doing this ship for years, and I don't. I didn't let the chicken chat to get to me. But my team, my people were like not I don't know hay shit about that. The team, they're just like, man, you I grow the situation. We could go get this money. We don't need nobody else, you know what I'm saying. So when when we actually put the trigger and executed it, my team was ready

to go. We didn't even talk about it was like, hey, we got the show pulling up and whatever state when we when we have four or five Carlos or home is already ready, people flying in with merch, already whatever. And even when we're going to like Beijing, Singapore, Chi led Brazil, it's like motherfucker's just started putting a home and got my ticket. We're about to be there. It's like motherfucker's just support. You know what I'm saying. That's

dope right there. So what you say, man, because I don't know what the movies and everything, but I'm gonna be honest with you. I didn't wike it because I would be in a McDonald somewhere. You get that one dumbmass person to come to the side even stare at you like this and say I know you from somewhere right and you're trying to order your ship, and they're just sitting there looking at you, and you don't know if this motherfucker go reaching this pinions and pull out

the ham or what. You know. It's a trip. And I tell people from being on both sides, ain't the ship like the movie Ship. I'm in movies and ship. It's a whole different pump to it, you know what I mean, It's a whole different people because you get that, especially when the movie first come out it's a major release, and they stand on the side of you, did you ever get into here? Man? Man, I've been nonstopped. It

hasn't stopped. It's like I used to get recognized a lot from being like just just going anywhere people whole ship was cracking crimes, you know. But now it's like, like I said, I got a career about the at the beach of the Marina del Rein. Sometimes I think I'll be tucked away I can ordering pizza and ship and walking to the front like, oh I got a picture with you. I'm like, God, damn, Like I can't even order down Uber pulpt makes nothing. I can't go to the damn stores like no matter where I go

in the state. But that's a that's a blessing of the at the that end of the day. That's what we doing ship for it to be successful. Yeah, for sure. And and it's cool. Man. I think if all of us in this room have experienced the whole fee on the street thing, what's the craziest experience you have? We go around the room, we man, Honestly, I don't know about crazy um shot. I'll tell you one off the top of my head that right now, I could tell

you it was just some trippy ship. So the first time I went to Japan, it was two thousand and four. I was still fresh. I was still youngster, the knuckle headed, fresh out of I wasn't out of the game bang mentality I was. I was a kid that wrapped and I was still My main goal was represent my neighborhood and put it out there. You know, I didn't have the business mentality yet. So I was over there like

naive to motherfucker's even knowing my ship. So when we went out there, I was like, yeah, I'm just supporting the label, you know what I'm saying, Like, I'm just doing my things. So we got there and all these people like pulling out my shirts, pulling out my ship, and I'm like literally like cracking foods and the homes are laughing, like, hey, don't chill out using your fans

so many don't treat them like that, you know. And I'm not just this ship, you know, I'm like, fucking put your hands on me, you know what the fund is this ship? People pulling my shirts and you said ship, you know. So next you know, uh, I gotta get to the restroom and the fucking club has packed the funk out. I mean, you can't even breathing that motherfucker like you can't even walk, you know what I'm saying.

So I got to use the rest of the promoter gets into the restroom and he's crazy ass motherfucking fans follow me in the restaurant and they're like doing this weird ass sounding and were there like three or forecast doing it at the same time, like they were doing in Doncing, And I was like, what then of these dudes doing like I was getting to point I wanted to like fire on these fools. I'm like, I'm trying to take a piss. You guys are behind me making

some weird ass noise, you know. And after like four or five minutes of the ships. I was trying to get back out my homies sident was laugh He's like, dah, that was crazy, Hony the lead to your fucking main songn I'm like, what the funk you mean? He's like, yeah that they were hummering and ship. And when I put it back in myself, these motherfucker's were sucking humming the lead with my ship A lout for a woman innocent, like they're fucking bumps around the fucking fire pit. You

know what I'm saying. It was a trip. He was fun. That ship blew my mind. I was on the airplane, like, what the funk was that? You know what I'm saying? That ship was crazy? What was your moment? Man? Man? Ship? I got too many fuckers, Tomber, give me some. Give me with one crazy one motherfucker they I had to get into it with it. The godda have seven on seven games? What the two weeks? And because everybody, man, I'm telling you, crazy, motherfucking fan. I'm at my son

football game. I'm supporting the kid. You know, they're doing good. And I guess Homebroad had them too many of drinks in the car or something, and he wantn't get to just telling me to take my ass home and get the funk up out of here and shipped off because I'm cheering on my son for the opposite team. So it ended up in a crazy situation. But like I said, fans and people or you know, it could be like

you said, gifting the curse. You know, sometimes they could push the limits of their of their of their fan whatever you want to call it, because they feel like some of them just feel like their privileged to some point that you have to you know, acknowledge them or whatever. But uh, when I'm out and not on the m C eight tip, I just try to be normal and ship. I feel that takes me a long way. That was dealing with fans and ship it's crazy. Yeah, you ain't

Warring handled that, Wrange. You handled that pretty good because you're kind of blend in because I don't see you as stuff before and I don't think people even know you had your head kind of what your coaches was. The longest thing I try to blend in and ship. I try to look as normal as possible to fit in because I am I just like the average motherfucker.

So that's what I like to consider myself and even though motherfucker's feel that we should be different than what we are, I just try to tell them my fun man. I'm just like you, dude. I put my shoes on left, right, you know, get up, brush my teeth, you know, take a ship shower, you know, all that good ship feel me? Yea, how you James, you had some crazy moments. So for when I really like really felt this right here, the

popularity of it. I'm in me and my age wife is the wet green that ship come up with me. He got tattoos all in his head and ship and you're that guy ship. Yeah, I'm a name with ship. You know. I'm like, oh ship what guy? Me like Shore. I'm kind of relaxed now show I know what you're talking about gainst the chronicles, chronicles, do you mind if I get a picture with your homes? I'm like, I can't say no because this was you know, I mean, so we take the picture. I mean, my wife get

our ship now here outside. It's like four of them outside now so oh, I'm like that is the motherfucker man. I'm like, God damn, she like mabe I said, I don't know, you know from gamest Chronicles. But that's when it feels good to me because you know, and then wouldn't come to exactly with you like that. Wait I mean here gagst Yeah, you can tell his whole person, of the whole nine and just him getting at me like that and just recognize and making I get rs.

You know what I'm saying. Okay with me now, it's cool. It was cool. Yes, what I'm saying. You know what. The funniest one was a Gangster Chronicles. I was with my daughter again and at seven to eleven, and for some reason, I always get the people that just come right in my face and you turn around, they're looking at you and they just like and they never complaced it where they know you're from. I know you from somewhere. Say something and I'm like, say something? What you mean

like say something? So I said? They say, you do the Gangster Chronicles. It's that, and then they want to talk to you, and then with a trip but trips me out. They feel like because they listen to your show, well I got this idea for a cold thing, and they have fought. They fought. This dude falling way off of my car telling me what y'all should talk about this one day. And doing this had a whole idea take my number down, and I don't want you to

steal my ship. You gotta bring in and give me credit. And I just skirt the funk off on his day. It's just funny. But I appreciate it, though, dog, you know, because people be like, you know, like and it tricks me out all the time, like when we interviewing somebody like, because you never know who listening and who's messing with your content, and it never fails. Man, I'm going through um because I got a bad habit of not checking

them in boxes because sometimes it just be bullshitting there. Right, So I'm going in. I see two messages from Shack and I'm like, this ain't the real motherfucker's Shack. And then so the first what I said, Man, stopped playing on my ship. This ain't Shack. I'm gonna report your head. He said, no O, G it was everybody thinks it's James on there, O, G Mark James. I really fun was she? Then he sent the picture like, and I said, the ship that's really motherfucky Shack. So shout out the Shack.

You know what I mean, and that ship just tricks me out. I'm like, man, But like he said, going back to its authenticity. Man, people know when stuff is real. I guess you know what I mean. It's kind of different, like especially with because they out there I'm talking about out there rapping in front of the gang of people, not only the guys, just the women. And I know a lot of pushy came anyway, and just like being on on up there with with shooting them, pushy was coming.

And when the just wants to get on the bus just because you're associated with it, and by him being him and and all of those guys, they had five or six women at their motherfucked the move before motherfucker even got up to elevator. So I mean, it has this perse. But you know, goddamn, you know, they don't get the time to just relax some wine. Like you said, you're ready to you know, I'm touching me, you know what I'm saying. And sometimes people don't understand that part.

But other than that, man, I don't like to do too much mingle them in the club scene with the you know, not to be uh uh not to be a title uh try to you don't avoid the fans. But I never like the hanging out at the clubs after the ship was done. No, I'm talking to Motherfucker's

soul this. I'm done with the last song song on stage, I'm off the stage and I'm straight to the car where you know what I learned, man, because I used to go over to London a lot, and when I was performing this stuff, I would go over to London and all these other look you know, remote places and you've been in London before, right, Uh, you know they clubs is down the basements and they're real small. So he used to trick me out off on this one

spot out there. It's like you walked down some stairs and you really like an a basement and it's like the room was about two of these rooms maybe. So when you go up on stage and stage only this big and everybody right there in your face, and you know in England they used them pokers. I was seeing that.

I don't know. I had this one song man, whenever it would come home, and we did the MTV based tour over there for MTV when the little stations over there every So I did that song at Man Motherfucker's and that motherfucker getting jugged. So I'm up there doing my ship and motherfucker's just started shaning each other. To this day, I don't know what the funk that was about. I'm like, what the hell out some little ship for me having a something? But they're crazy over They're just

different places. So when you traveling overseas and stuff, man, I don't know if you can talk about this. Man. I know you you're married, all right, you have to married by time, but she wasn't at that time. I've been I've been with my lady fags. Okay, so we're gonna skip that. I don't even gonna talk off we get that, man, so still trying to get Yeah, we can talk about that at the word. I mean, but

you're seeing like in Japane. I know you had a phone in Japane's being um last time I was out there with glasses, y'all must have been following behind us, because I saw all kinds of Mr Criminal posters be a glass like look at the home. He got a problem. You're doing bigger thing used than your glasses. And so we was just you know, out there chilling, dug when you saw that reception overseas, Man, how did that make you feel when you like they kind of trip you

out a little bit? Man? It does every single time, and it has since the first time I told overseas to like right before the coronavirus starts, do you feel the fan base or the connection to fans overseas? Sometimes it's better than at home, absolutely because in l A and casts out here there too, too too uptight. Motherfucker's is too hard to give them prices. Motherfucker's is like, oh, he ain't from my body and here from my hood.

I'm gonna show love for from a distance. I can't be too too on them like that cast over seas they don't give a funk. They don't got that product, ain't from a different neighborhood, they ain't from They don't got that pride nothing. It's just about the music, you know what I'm saying. So it's like they don't give a fuck. You see motherfucker's looking like they're ready to come out there fucking panties and ship and they're man and ships, Like, what the hell happened to you? Honey?

You have a little bit of pride, don't We got some nuts between them? Lags, you know, but it's crazy. It's crazy, y'a. I've learned the fan basis is a little more extreme. Not to say that you don't get love from home, yeah, you know, because let's face it, you know a lot of them. What has happened here is what got us to that that you know, that latter decline, Uh, the fans that we have here at home.

But it's just something about being overseas. Uh. I don't know if it's uh the acceptance of hip hop or whatever it is that they feel, the rebellion or whatever. Uh, but it seems like it's a little more appreciated, you know what I'm saying when you go over there. And not to say you can't go to clubs and concerts here and people don't sing the words to your songs and then but you just get that extra sitement. That's

just when you head over ship. It's just a little bit more extra because I'm gonna tell you, and Japan, England and Ireland, those places, I think, like you said, they got a different appreciation because they ain't trying to be hard. You gotta remember every motherfucker over here trying to wrap everybody over here trying to do what you do.

So you got fifty niggas in the audience. Two of them might be really fans that can't enjoy the show, but you've got forty eight other motherfucker's looking like men, I'm really to hells. You know, they're just standing back there, just trying to be artist. Like lou Up. You pay your money to getting this motherfucker different though, though. That's here. You have motherfucker's don't like your hood you here, you have motherfucker's that looking at you and just like, oh

fucking me, thank you, this and that. When you go out of stating overseas, they don't know who you are. They just love your music. It's totally different. While we get that, James, that ship California has a tendency to motherfucking pick and choose what they want to funk with and how they funk with it, you know what I'm saying, especially if they fucking if it's a gangs out there rapping and he from the other side, the other side

is already uptight, you know what I'm saying. Instead of motherfucker's getting alone and getting together and embracing ship, we gotta fight. I mean we gotta have to deal with it. Right, you wake up one morning, you check your little social media,

it's just a motherfucker from nowhere. I don't know, I don't know, don't know you from like and and sometimes I have to question myself and I have to go into a nigga's DM and be like, do you know I'm like, you just woke up just hating on the nigga, just from nigga, fuck your music, just funk with you about and nigga all nigga, you ain't the G. You left out the G because the G ain't and you and all this niggas doing their little and I'll be like,

do you know me, like, because you just woke up today, just like you just said fun today and just woke up. They get all on your Instagram lives and you see a motherfucker poppy and be like, hey man, fuck you. And I'll be like, man, what what what I would happened today? But so I'm just trying to figure out why we get that, Why we just get random niggas who just wake up just like just like the perfect

perfect example, the motherfucker at the football game. You don't know me for ship you just see me walking up and down the sideline being the father, supporting, and all of a sudden and you just turned around and go, fuck you, homeboy, get a body here. I'm like, So, it questions me sometime when a natural hate for motherfucker's come from. You know what I'm saying. I know you've

been through it. We've all been through the scenario of of you don't do nothing for the hood, You don't do nothing for the hood, you don't do nothing like It just puzzles me how motherfucker's just wake up with natural fucking hate And and most of the time you don't even know me, motherfucker from what you see on

a record or a video, that's all you know. But hate moving, hate comes from that when you moved on and you don't recognize come over there on the corner of the movie because you're doing your thing having these cats don't understand what grown up me. Well I grew up. You know what I'm saying. You can be that you're still against nobody. This ship is still in you. But I just don't get down like that no more. Half of halving the homies. Ain't got no motherfucking wives, ain't

got no kids because penigentries all that life. When they when they see anything about you or anything that's when you dress code, they're gonna take off on it. Motherfucker's act like bitches too right, you know what I'm saying. And they only hate because they see they ship in a position but can't get to that position. And where you act it out shine your whole bunch of motherfuckers, and you have hated motherfuckers out there. I don't give black, brown, white,

I don't care they don't color. I think to chime in on that, it also goes back to the top. I could speak on real motherfucker's like us that really from the soil, like I'm really from my body. We are really from where we're from. We we obviously got enemies. We obviously got people that we've done, they have funk with, so they got it's a small world. Everyone knows that you got cousin, uncle, something that's related. So I also feel that percentage comes for that from some ship that

we might might have possibly did some of our homes. Gad, we're always gonna get that natural hate where they see us pop up and it's like this motherfucker's life ship this motherfucking shot my home. I'm gonna come here and hate and stop blessing a way that I just makes this fucking ship look look stupid online because they ain't got another way to get at you. They didn't handle it back into the streets, so they're trying to do it online. I know that for a fact that that's

some of the ship I've been gonna come at. That's exactly what it is. Just like a female get mad at she got a kid right she could do it is called child boy up. I mean, everything has just is ups and downs to it. But just just like criminals said, that's pretty much it. We've all done the checked or done something or happen to us where at the end of the day, in the background minds, we don't forget the ship, you know what I'm saying. So when especially when they see you out there shine it,

they automatically hate you know what I'm saying. But they take a real mother fucker to keep pushing and do what you do because if you bote you into his bullshit, you must believe this ship or it's gonna fuck you up. Fun writing into that ship if you ain't physically in front of me with the bullshit. It don't matter, It don't matter. You can hit me on Instagram, do whatever the funk you want, because you're gonna get a lot of that, a lot of that ship. That's why I

don't look at none of that ship because I get mad. Yeah, you keep and you're getting mad of the motherfucker that's somewhere in his basement something. You like, you don't know where these motherfucker's at, so you just like you even waste the energy for that. Ain't like you can find his motherfucker. You ain't gonna never find it. They don't come outside, right, That's what I always say. It's like, whenever I see ship like that, I'm like, motherfucking show

to myself. I'm everywhere I'm I ain't hard to find. You ain't gonna show it to myself. And now times I said, tell if they do, they're gonna be inligning the VP. They paid extra money to come down exactly. And that's what I'm saying. It'd be motherfucker's. Man, Like this ship, there's a motherfucker Like if you used able to really go find who these motherfucker's, if you were laughing like I'm not doing it, and it's like you

get it from people. Man. What's crazy is people that you might have came up with dog for some reason, they feel like your success is their success. And then he goes to extreme. I ain't talking about the homely they're going to come in and say, let me make the T shirts. That's gonna attribute something. It's always the motherfucker don't have nothing to offer. You're not gonna bring him to the table. But he feels like you're supposed

to just bring him along. It's like what you just can't come like it cost money to bring the motherfucker with you. I've learned that ship the first time I got to England. But you get a lot of that when it comes from like uh like my like, like my man was saying, you get a lot of that when you come from where we come from. You got a lot of you know, whatever you've done or what

can you do or what are you gonna do? And like for me, I had to transition out of that wanting to bang for the hood, even though I was making records in the beginning, like you said, everything was about the hood still, so you have to learn how to transition yourself from that to being that business, grow on up man or whatever. But I know, like I said, we've all had to come from that. You know what if you done or motherfucker put me on and ain't got shipped to contribute, I got I ain't got ship

to contribute. But we from the We from the sand box fun So we from the sand box. So you know, like I like I said, I used to get hit up with. We need guns, we need dope, guns, and we need dope. That's what we need. Fuck some fucking rap shit, fuck some beats and ships and going on tour and videos. Nigger, we need guns and we need dope. That's what you can contribute. So it's a it's a high stress and you're supposed to have if you're a

street motherfucker. Anyway, you gotta have a heat. I ain't looking for them give me a gun, I kept exactly, I got one. I ain't actual nobody to give me the ship. But being successful and being out there, being from the hood, the homies out of respect that one hunt Bam, the homies know who I'm sucking with. All the my rider dies the most of you. I can't take the whole hood the whole hood wouldn't with me. My journey was with that, my fucker, that my fuck

that motherfucker them the ones I'm loyal to. Just because your homies don't mean you gotta be Are you loyal to everybody? One? Honey, I got your bag, But I'm not one hunt. This is what you know what I'm saying. And a lot of cats in the hood don't understand that. Like dealing with Sugar, you know, we had so many motherfucker's I want to be a part of it. Just because he brings your border, say come to the office, don't mean I owe you what I'm giving him because

this is my This motherfucker is beating the motherfucker's. This motherfucker don't win one hunt for me. I owe him. You know what I'm saying. I gotta give him. I got him. So motherfucker's don't understand the difference just because we're homies, don't Maybe we funk with each other. How many how many more fuckers you got in the hood that you really don't know? Straight up? You know what I'm saying. We only accepted the ones that was born

and raised in the hood. Now, I think mother fuckers that came from watching now the claiming the hood or you you're coming on. But when you get rich man, everybody expected you to take them. You can't take everybody with you. But showing love and respecting the homies is I got the ones that was day one with me and they're good, you know what I'm saying. That's that's

that's what the respect is. And if the homies see your grind and seeing you come up from here to there, them the ones gonna you don't know what the funk you're talking about, watch them off. Don't speak on the homies like that, you know what I'm saying. So that's where the respect comes from. The homies that you funk with that got you back, and you hear that type of ship and you ain't got to worry about that bullship. But you don't have that today because everybody want to come,

Everybody want free money, definitely, everybody like um. All these experiences we're talking about, and I'm pretty sure earlier do you have to deal with any of that stuff I've been dealing with in my whole career. I've been dealing with my whole career. I ain't gonna saying no, names, but that was only from my neighborhood that was in and out. The pen got a good name the whole night.

Everybody respected him. He was straight up came out, was like calling mandatory meetings in my body or like everybody had to pull up, or was motherfucker's just getting checked like he was putting like that structure back in and uh, he thought that I was some kind of sucker, and I had told him at one point he put up to my to my studio session, I'm gonna put it out there. He put out a technolomy. You know what I'm saying, my own homeboy from my hood, and I

told him, what you're gonna do with that? You ain't gonna shoot me, you know what I'm saying. You think I'm supposed to be intimidated from your body home? And they came to criminal for Silver Leg for a reason. I mean, you think I'm a bitch out because you gotta strap him now, And he's like, oh, you gotta do this, do that that. That motherfucker got checked out of my head, and none of my homeboys claimed no more. So, when you keep it authentic with your people, it doesn't

matter how much motherfucker try to go against you. Your people are gonna write for you, you know, shame my home My homeboy in the room right here, he just got out from from beating the lifecense. He had a lifecense. He wasn't coming out because it's whole everything that everything going on in the world right now, coronavirus. My other home Ikey just got off from seventeen years. He smoked the motherfucker he got it from seventeen years. They parted, you know what I'm saying. So, I mean he's in

the other room right now. I'm giving Homebusch my neighborhood opportunites right now. So like that, my homeboys, don't forget that ship. My motheruckers tried to come be salty. You think my homeboys over here that I'm breaking read with it, I'm taking care of it and helping feed their families, are just gonna be like, oh yeah, criminal to I don't go down like that, right. Yeah, that's crazy people just thinking you did with that though. We're coming from

this walk of life. That's real loyalty. Yeah, when you just explained real loyalty where you come from this walk of life still and you come from this banging ship and you make a name for yourself or you started. I don't give a funk. Even if you're the neighbor to the nigger with the sack and you it's gonna be a motherfucker. They feel like, nigga, you call the kicking in, right, I don't give a funk if I didn't put it in on it or done what it? Nigga?

You from over here, so kicking in. So sometimes you have to stay in your ground about ship. Yeah, you start your own empire. When did you really know you was on to some ship? Though? When my dad car came from David Are, I knew it before because everyone's like, man, this this, that this, and man, I'm keeping the real

my old label. There was a moment from two thousand and ten, I think through two thousand and fifteen they taught me straight out, nothing else in this label successful right now, anything else is pretty much flopping my ship. I'm not I'm not even fall back. And I dropped ship. I'm resigning you criminal three albums a year, let's go.

And I was just dropping ship. I carried that label for five years by myself, so I was like, man, doing all this I'm doing all this work, I'm like, fuck, other people are kicking back collecting, it's time for me to do this ship. And then I got that call from David. Are started getting the movies, agents started popping. I'm like, yeah, it's time to do to do this ship myself. You know what I'm saying, Yeah, man, because this is cool, right, But that's what usually happened. You know,

you get another avenue, and that's what happened. You got the other avenue outside of the music that that we're able to show you. And I do this ship on my own. Not to say it's any disrespect from what I was doing, but at one point in time, you gotta stand on your own two feet. You know what I'm saying. You got it, especially if you've got a family kids. You know, I can't be waiting on another nega to tell me when I can put a record out. I can't be waiting on another negat to hand me

a check. I need to be collecting that money every month instead of every fucking six to seven eight months, to feel me. So that's how we get it, especially for us artists who were in this game. We're trying to support ourselves. We see that light like funk that ship, Like, no disrespect to you, but it's time for me to start eating on and some people hate that. You want to eat on your own too, on your own ship,

off your own plate. You get a lot of scenarios with motherfucker's be like oh, they get mad, like Ship, I was telling you about motherfucker's getting bread and then you go, Okay, well'm gonna start collecting my own bread now, man, I got a problem with that, Like, man, I got a problem with you got a problem that I want to collect my own fucking breath like that that's an issue, like like it's my bread, Like you got a problem

that I want to collect my own fucking money. And they don't feel that that's where you're supposed to go. You asked me that the February that I heard, Oh you don't trust me? Yeah, yeah, time, but you don't trust me, you gotta go to somebody else. I'm not trusting you though it's over, but you continue to dick I'm gonna kid, I'm gonna continue to dick you. But that's all I'm gonna tell you that you trust me?

I want ship? Uh yeah, well you know they give you that slick, real story right quick, and you be back like damn, this motherfucker just got me to I'm I didn't face the same position I was in. I did all the talking for nothing. So no, some my fucker's hate, but it's it's cool when motherfucker's gonna respect that, Like, hey, you want to go do your thing and it's opportunity there and not they hate. But you man, I got a family. I got a wife, I got kids, I

got bills, you get me. I could be getting all of this instead of a portion of this because in a sense, it's all me really a certain time in you know what I mean. It's like as you build, you pay your dudes. We all pay our dudes. When you know what I'm saying, somebody let us in the door. Okay, fuck it. You know, but at one point in time, man funk that man, I didn't take my own trash shop and that fun that ship, Yeah, that's real ship. So tell me this man, this movie should go blow

your ship up to another level. And it's something of a touch on because you know, you always rock with the brothers, You always was who you was keeping gangster and everything, but you fuck with you know you fun, it would never know desension. You'll always make made motherfucker's feel love, you know what I mean? And so you pretty much did the song with everybody dog black community. Did you go that purposeful man and see, I'm gonna put out rap music and I'm not putting the label

on the ship. You know, I never liked the label. I mean I always felt like That's why always said I was a ladding the wrap. I didn't like the terms she kinda wrap. I didn't feel like that that needed to be put on us when I left that one. I'm not in no dispect, But when I think that you're gonna wrap, I think old motherfucker. That's rapping over all debts with like some doctors, sus friends, you know what I'm saying, like some rhyming the very last words like now we don't do that, we get down. I

could spare. I can handle the best of my skins. Brown. I got brown prout of my stomach on from my bottom. But that only ship I could come in and spend my everywhere I grew up, everywhere I went, no matter what it's like, I always blamed with both sides. You know what I'm saying, you always an Yeah, yes, I blame it with both sides. To me, it was like I didn't really feel like they needed to be a label,

you know what I'm saying. And then and then when I started making tracks with with with artists that weren't brown, and to me, I was like, Okay, this is a level of like at the end of the day, we're trying to get to that level where we're getting recognized mainstream, and this is the way to do it. We gotta be recognized that we're working together because out here we lived together. Motherfucker's live in the same bodies, whether they like it or not, the same hoods blocks, motherfuckers sharing,

you know what I'm saying. So it is what it is. Yeah, Because so I got to see it. I saw to come up man, and I was like, damn, he got a song with him. He got a song with him, and it was like crossing nobles. Like I said, everybody working with the music. Man, did you ever get me flex from your community for that, man? Because you know, like you said, we go back to the hater ship motherfucker's said you were sending. Did you ever have any motherfucker's to hear the problem with what she was doing

quite a few times. With a matter of fact, I ain't gon send in the name of the hood. But there was a time when I did a song with the Spoder local Ginua and uh, my fuckers started getting on my line talking about they had a problem with it. So I invited on my video shoot on some shot. I said, we're about to shoot a video right here. I got a gang of bodies that are pulling up. You guys are more than welcome to pull up and let me know your issue with personally. You know what

I'm saying. So they did. They all up and a couple of old Jews pulled up and they try to get at me strong and uh, I had a couple of my homies with me and I tuk. They tried speaking. I told now, I don't speaking for myself, so I gotta told me on inside of say on me with all due respect, whatever beef you guys got, that ain't my ship. And at the end of the day, that's how I feel. My family. I'm making music to put

on for our community to be recognized. So you expect your your little petty beef and your issues to hold back what I'm doing and sucking my ship homey, don't come to me and try to tell me how to run my business like on some respectful ship, you know. And they see, you know, like ten minutes later there

in the video on the back doing the gangsher. But you know what I'm saying, It was like, motherfucker's just gotta be told like sometimes that they're stuck in the mentality that that they were trained or it was instilled in them, but they ain't thinking for themselves. You know what I'm saying. I think for myself. Homi, I'm a motherfuckering leader. Ain't following what I'm saying. You guys to learn how to talk to a motherfucker telling straight up

this is what it is. I don't know, disrespect, but I'm gonna grown ass man, and this is the rules I set for myself. Now, whatever you got going on the outside, that's your problem. But this ship right here here, this ain't got nothing to do with that ship. This is this is this is off track. So motherfucker's need to learn that too, because niggas trying to they try

to infiltrate your ship with their little beefs. Yeah, and at the end of the day, start hate anyways, because they just hating because they little honey on the block and doing that. You know what I'm saying, Because at the end of the day, if they really could splash that beef and get their people to wrap with them, he probably would. They did it them down, so you know what I'm saying. Yeah, And that's the thing. Like a gamest chronicles the West Coast platform, we said we

would have everybody on here. If you're from the West Coast and you're from the turf and you're putting on for your ship, Nope, we w have you. Only we don't give a funk what cod as long as you represent for the streets, as long as you got some history behind you, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, moms got some history behind you. So it was like, man, it's it's ship. Has me w here, dog man and shi you overre man. So as far as your label go, Man,

how many artists on there? I mean artists never started about trying. Got about seventeen artists. Um, we took some really heaving blows this last year. One of my one of my front the front and all it's my homie g Ras um passed away my home bu Diablo, and we just got locked up maybe about a month ago on on a couple of murder charges. My homeboy center he got he got locked up on it, like I

think it was like five attempted murders. So the problem is, I'll be trying to give a lot of really my homeboys, my real homies, not on streetcat not know like industry motherfucker's like, well stitcats. I funk with opportunities because I funk with him, you know what I'm saying. And some of them don't take the opportunity serious or they're just too deeply rooted in their their issues in the body,

you know. So it is what it is. But we started off about seventeen and right now I think I got about like seven eight artists left, you know what I'm saying. I got my homily anemans like I'm homie crazy Boy, got my homies. Mr Grangy in Brazil. Um, We're working with a gang of different people, my homies, sick money criminals, my homies and hood affiliates, you know what I'm saying. So yeah, yeah, he's a bar spitting and that's that's one of my homies. We keep him

touching the chamber right there, ready to go. You know, let motherfucker's know. We got bars on all day. But yeah, yeah, my homewies, Diablo and Senator, they're gonna be releasing some ship from prey and I'm still helping him. I still working. When am I just went in business and Lively then in County. Where is that I heard? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, you got you got some dudes over you guys meet over here. Man. So as far as like the movies and stuff, man, do you see that something

man that you you empire, that you building? Man, you see there's something that you would possibly get into um and first producing him yourself and putting out your own It's crazy to say that because five years ago, before even David Are called me, before anything, I was shooting a lot of videos like I produced. I put this a lot of ship for a lot of cats, and my fucker's would be like, hey man, you shoot it

was pretty dope, shoot some ship for me. So I ended up shooting a lot of ships like bone Thugs, t Q, I did some ship with ice Cube, just a lot of different cats, you know, And uh, I said fucking I could shoot for the cats, I should be able to shoot some ship for myself. So my humboy that I mentioned gras he was getting out of prisoner, I made him a promise like five years before he

got locked up. I told, when you get out, because he wanted to wrap bad and he reminded me like his energy was just like mine, mine and my my hunger when I was first trying to start. So I promised him, I said, keep yourself out of trouble home. I'm gonna give it you a deal. I'm sucking do some shift for you. He got out and I wrote him a role in the movie. It's called The Final Ride, and we wrote it and unfortunately passed away. He actually died like three days before it was released. But um,

I never got to see even see the movie. I was saving the movie to show him. So that's a surprising ship, and uh, unfortunately he didn't get to see it. But that movie just got picked up by Amazon and it's getting most likely going to be going to Hulu, Netflix, everything. So even the ship, now that's my first director's credit,

you know IMDb. So it's like without even trying to go and now I got I got directors, actors, credits, writers, credits, scoring because I got in Crossing the Inn, the movies and ship like the Hommyaden, the whole ship. Man, It's just it's a blessing, you know. Well, you know something makes up leaving God. I know sometimes, Man, when God got something for you, can't nobody stuff to stop. You know,

stop it, you know what I'm saying. So what I'm saying, man, it's like this king, you know, can't take that from you. You're definitely doing your thing. Man, what's next though, Ship, I'm starting this studio Ship, me and my Homi Critical. We're about to drop us sounds of about in Part three Urban legend Um. Should I got a car business that I just started. I'm in the middle of flipping classic cars about the first three for myself. So I'm keeping the mother yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, but I'm

doing that. I'm just going heavy on the march. The merch Uh. Ever since you know, the chronavirus stopped even before, but ever since the coronavirus started, Uh, it went like through the roof. You know what, has been crazy merchandise and it's been really good for US, US independent independence. You know what I'm saying and a street cats, that's

that's pushing that line. It seems that people are getting out of the well on our level, they're getting out of buying all the fancy bullshit and and starting to wear their own lines and representing urban lines and because you know, lines like my man producing. So that's that's also a good I mean, you gotta make moves, man, that's it. That's it. And then one of the biggest things I'm focusing on them right now is my kennel. I got crying family kennels, and I'm changing the game

with that. I got a gang of exoetics. I'm introducing uh fluffy frendcheo bulldogs to the game. I got sucking some colors and some bloodlines that my fucker's all around the world they're trying to get right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got that right talking about it. Man, You see what you're doing when I know that you've got multiple streams of stuff coming, you know, not being in your business and stuff like that, but you're doing really bullshit

boss level ship. You got this right here. How important is do you think that I don't rappers that versus Friday portfolios? I think it's the most important thing because we all know to be honest with you and the truth I come from from. I don't want to say the old school because now ship at the end of the day, it ain't that long ago. But from from old school compared to how it is now, ain't no streaming. I came from when it was physical CDs. You gotta

get a gilt. But you know if the thumb records, build universal records for the distribution, so you had to actually have a deal. It wasn't just like you get on the iPhone, put it out and everybody sees that ship.

You know what I'm saying. So um, I think I think more of the hunger from the beginning and seeing that side of it transferring to this side, it makes you just know how to how to go because, like I said, the reason why I bring that up is, back in the day's artists were always the lowest on the total poet We got the very least amount of anything. You know, we had to get up and from going to go do shows. So it's like I always was told back then. I remember one of the homies had

told me way back in the day. He's like, you just wrap Ship. It's just a wait for them to know your name and they go bang them on different avenues, hit him with a clothing line, hit him with this and them with that, and Ship. I started producing. I started slinging versus I started doing my clothing line. I built my own studio like when I was like nineteen twenty, you know what I'm saying. So it's just it's just been a blessing ever since. You know, for man, this

man out a hustle man. With all your ventures that you've got going on, Where can the people go find that stuff? That everything ship right now? Right now? Cry Family Entertainment com I mean that's where all my information to, all my avenues and my links and my strings, right. I mean you could book get at me direct, California Love Studios, my homie Critical. I mean, we're just working in so many different ways. Cran Family Kennels. I mean Ship.

You could search me on IMDb if I'm trying to get at me for some active ship on the show up whatever. You know, my man, the world was greater man, Yeah, and he's doing it. Thirty thirty I was from thirty three albums. Dumb about thirty three albums a d how many records you think ship millions millions of my first album is criminal Mentality, Universal Thumb. I think that ship did like seven hundred fifty eight hundred thousand, and that's

just ghetto, ghetto gold, you know what I'm saying. So yeah, because you know how it was building the bag over there, Man, you'd platinum, you don't know what you could use that same force, but you don't sold a thousands that I'm right there with all blue racks food, with the blue rack curb behind, we did a half a million in the streets. So I mean, I could tell you that right there, like we were just there was a point where this quote unquote you're gonna wrap was running ship.

There was nothing that was sucking with it in the coast like period. I'm just keeping really now. I was there and hit his wave, you know what, just like they get thrown bulls didn't at the one point we were killing me and at that point we were running that ship, there was nobody sucking with us, just millions

of records. Song. I was there because there was a whole bunch of the homies told about he was going to throw signs deals with criminals because he was gonna because they had the ship popping, and it was just like they had the streets on like see with the Messian homies figured out. They stuck to the script of how games reps thirty remember what easy and it used to be able to conten street. They kept there, They

kept the streets. They wasn't trying to run the radio when you sunk with the streets, dog, That's what I tell people not to this day. And then you had the co following because it's that particular ship you know me, even though rap is you know here, you got that coke following them. When you got that co following, it's like you got the motherucker's here. You gotta near, you got a near. So everybody and that motherfucking criteria. They

ain't buying nothing but that ship. They ain't buying, No eight, they ain't buying. No they buying They're following that code. So they ran the game to give me. Definitely he was because I knew me sugar free and high. She wanted to get the showing up for Bear and yeah, and we don't. It was living our stuff. We were getting some props. Man, Remember that I saw the Michigan home you started coming off there. I was like looking at them, the girl flashing, they get that co following,

We get that Jim Jones co following. They own you. That's crazy, member, That's how I was supposed to be. Do you know what I'm saying? Yeah, you know what the candidate you know That's what I'm saying. Man, what y'all? Ha Man? We got to sit down man with my home legendary Mr Criminal Man. We appreciate it though, pleasures, mom, But that's just for blessing for sure. We got this. Ain't your last time. I'm not again. When you went along, I got to hiller at you by one of them,

one of them fluffy dogs. That's all night. We will have you back on there again. We can be You can see this with a little booth over there, man, But I leave you gotta shide and smoke all day to let the rill one speak. Gangster crying the coast. What's the word on the streets.
