Big stails the streets. Hello, where are you at? This is o g gangster Granny and the Gangster Chronicles podcast is bad in effect, Get ready for some of that G ship and bleae up some wanna Merrow went to another episode against the Chronicles podcast. I with my homeboy Big James. Yeah you know, of course mcat is out there on the football field coach the kids to victory
and stuff. He'd be back in next week. But before we get stirts tonight, I want to address a very very serious situation on James recently lost his own father. Mr Quinn is will born and I know James, you guys, um had kind of just gotta queen it like later on in your life. And we really got acquin it at twenty two. Um, he's always been around, and you know I always wonder why he was giving mom's money and uh giving me money. And you know, I just
didn't put two and two together. To my cousin, Christine rest in peace, she basically told me, you know, that's your problem. This was at a younger age, and I really didn't put two and two together until I started going to Texas with my papas James m and his family pretty much really uh rejected me. I was telling me I wouldn't his son and and I went part
of the family and all that ship stuff. Yeah, I had to deal with that, and you know I always wonder why this dude didn't, you know, take up from me. So I learned to cuss them out. You know. Yeah, they was all bitches. They were there thing, They was everything under the table. They were bitches and everything to me. So I didn't have family like that out there. They didn't look at me like that like they looked at
my brothers. I'm pretty sure it's changed now, but now this time, well you know, Um, all of those people are going down. His mother gone, he gone, is Auntie gone. A lot of them will gone now. And you know, I really don't talk to any of them. But you know, I got two brothers. I still call him my brother, Anthony and Barry out there. Um. But other than that, I don't really communicate with nobody. Man. You know, hopefully y'all change that dynamic man to get to know each other,
you know, because family is a special thing. Man, it can't be a special thing. So I'm gonna keep you up in prayers. Brother. On that man, Max, y'all find resolution and resolving that man. And you know, you know, it was a blessing at the age of twenty two to get the meats of biological father. And that's a blessing, man, you know. Um. And we hit it off right at the top. Um. You know, he was in the motorcycle club and then asked me, come on, Shana, I love
had you in the motorcycle club. You'll bring a lot to the bike set. I was like, Pops, I'm still a game banging and ship. I don't want to do that. I can't do them both. And you know, just going up to the club and and shitting back party and with him, I went and bought a motorcycle and uh I joined the club. And you know they wanted to give me special treatment because I was too sweet sound
you know for a patch. I didn't want time and he was he man, Sean, I love that because you could have got a full patch just because of me, because you want son and man I was. I love pulling up on the yard on them on my bike and he out there they're drinking and kicking it. And you know, right now today still you know all the old gs. You know, this show got love for me. You know what I'm saying. That's a beautiful thing, man, that's a beautiful thing. Man received that dog, you know
see that that's a that's a thing. You know. But tonight man, it's always man. Um, we got somebody pretty special in the house. One of eight times. Fine, it's one of the rich negators down there, and we go get into that tonight. Um, Little Troy, what's up? What's your partner? What's going on? Stair? What's up? James at Main? Stuff for your lost man, and keep your head up. Man, you don't say thank you. I don't want you to keep keep going, you feel me. Oh yeah, it's definitely yeah.
But man, you know, Troy, you quite a history down there. Man, you had I know you started short Stop week we year did you started short Stop Records nineteen eight, so you and the other label across town Rap a Lot, pretty much started around the same time. Then yeah, like and yeah about the year before me and uh, but we all came up in the industry at the same time, learning, going through all the trial and trip relations hard not
you know, not knowing the music business. I gotta go try to find the lauder and pay him for his time to tell a certain things or not. We just figured out on I own that what I did, mostly I done. I figured this your my own. Yeah, most of the smart ones do. Yeah, most most of the smart ones doing. And the first artist you had in the label was if I'm correcting me wrong, DJ Action, now known to the world of Scarface. Correct, yeah he was. Actually he was scar facing it with me. He was scarf.
Oh so we're breaking news now, So scar Face starts before he even yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he started off as DJ actually first came to me and then we did that song together. I started Small Time Dope gang cocaine, pushing rocks on the block never broke main. You know, when we did that song, he was talking about me and my little brothers setting rocks on the block and stuff, you know, in the village and the dead End and ship.
So and when we write that songs that nobody nomber named the common scar face and then right then we just thought saying that, what that's your name, nigga, Scarf Frey, We're gonna call you scar free nigged. And that's how I started off on the album cover, you know how we did it and everything. You know, I got a bunch of us sitting on my callac back in the dead End and the village and stuff with all kind of guns all on the cover, sitting on my callac
and ship. You know, I'm saying we were we were just living the park. Where were what we were doing in our neighborhood, you know, the my lifestyle. The first face was just sixteen years old when he made that song. So he was out there on the block selling on rocks or nothing. That's what we was out there doing, you know what they me and my live brother. So you know, he kept him head a little bit and stay with my mama. You know what I'm saying, face is little my mama. So mom used to cook for
him and everything. You know what I'm saying. But okay, yeah, as I started out back then like that, you know what I'm saying. Okay, so y'all took care of But you know, on this show, man, we'd like to keep it g at all times. We're gonna definitely talk about the music because it's a big part of your life. But I want to go back to the corners, to them blocks, man, the streets. That's fun, little troit you know what I mean? Now, where are you from? Are
you from the fifth Ward? Is that fifth and fifth Ward? Where you from? South Park? South Side? When everybody says it's south side, the dead end? I related out the dead end, you know what I'm saying. So I help created a culture of what they're doing now in the dead end. Okay, I got you, and you started off like so many of us. You was out there hustling. Stay. That's the only thing we knew at the time, you
know what I'm saying. It's the only way we knew to get some money, you know, to try to fund out life, our family, and then we started to start doing business on the way we knew how to get some money was go out there and hit the blocks, you know, then start sending rocks, and then you move up to the four and a half and nine of breaks, and then you got them coming in. M That's how everybody started off pretty much. I mean, we are from the hood, We all from the streets. So it was
it was the hoodie for music. It was the hoodie any good. And my old man rested piece my dad passed while back to you know what I'm saying, he was like the next thing to guard to me. He didn't want to put me in the game, you know, saying. Old man was a merchant seaman. So he used to go out on the ships to the country and ship and bring all that work back for the Columbials here in town. Right, so you get it from the Columbias, uh, for them plumbers out the country, and then bring it
back on the ship. Here meet the ones he got to bring him to here, give it to him and stuff. Right. And then when he showed me how to cook, you know, talk me how to cook, I started cooking for them to let him know how good it was. Cause they didn't know how to cook. Oh wow, so y'allways in the game. Then, yeah, my old man put me down. So when I got ready and start making making ways and needed more and more and more, I already had people I can go to cause the old man was
already connected. M Yeah, let me tell you this, Stroy, because um, we know we got a whole bunch of mutual acquaintances and you was doing you was definitely doing your thing. He's definitely verified. You know, he's verified and certified, you know, an officials official like a motherfucker. Um, did you ever start feeling the heat? What made you want to, like, um,
diversify your portfolio? You won't jump out the game where incident happened to make you say, you know what, this selling rock ship, I gotta go do some other ship. It wouldn't never to set about till a long time, you know what. I'm uh that I ain't gonna lie. It was made too much money in the streets and
at the time to just up and stop. But I started doing music, and I played music in the from the third grade in school and then my mom my dad and then had bands, you know, I side playing nightclubs and I was a little kid, so i just go to the clubs with them, and I'm at eleven, twelve, thirty years old, watch them playing stuff, you know, and they're practicing at the house. I'm playing, and I'm playing in the band in school. So it was quite naturally. It was just in my blood. I was born to
be a huffler and too a musician. You know what I'm saying. From old man. Okay, okay, So so it wasn't no um come to Jesus moment as they say, that made you say, you know what fun this? I gotta get out the game. You didn't get robbed, you said, you kept doing your thing. I had to make enough money to uh to put this music out, you know what I'm saying. We ain't about giving some money. So you know, when you put out an album back then,
studio time was highs hell. It's studio time was not cheat what NOO CDs burned no songs on the CD. We were burning songs on a full hi VCR take. When I put my first record out with star Face, we burned the music on a full high VHI UH
video tape. For the kids out there, they don't know nothing about everything this before the a Dad, I ain't much mather eight Dad, I gotta go and take it back for the eight dad, damn before the VCR tape is what I mastered Scarface song too, and send it off to get to get it put on wax fo high VCR tape. You know what. That was the first big technology right there. That was the first big one. So you talked about going back then everything was high and see we used to be to go to a
recording studio. Back thing changed like eighty eight. You was gonna spend any bit up anywhere from sevi five an hour, it's up to two fifty. Yeah, that's when I started. And I first met uh scar Face, him and him and him and Bruce Bruce Rose and uh Beato. You know what I'm saying. I'm a hustling, so you know, they tell me he can wrap. I listened to him on on over the phone. I'm like, okay, no, I had that big old brick ass phone. You don't that big brick phone back then, you don't say, and they
ate it, and um I heard him. It was cool. And so men Beato hooked up Men Beato. We we we were hustling though together. You know what they ain't going out to said, set the rocks and packs and everything else all out of town. When you hear a s Q say, uh Folk game bangers for freshing the crack slangers, I just knew he had to peep down my life and was talking about meeting what I was doing down here. I'm like hiding to hear this nigger. That's what we do. We go here the block, don't
on nobody out of town and set up shop. The only thing it was different that we won game bangers though, you know what I'm saying. I never I know players, criple of bloods or nothing. You know what I'm saying. I would just have been a g able to go away over folk with whoever about making some money. Let's make some money. Well, I love it here. How you did that to go on somebody else neighborhood, just fresh off the bus, out the car and then pull up
and start slanging. Now you open up shop. I knew you had a lot of enemies trying to do that. Then when you bring that work and you're making it making sure everybody eat, they loved you from out of town. Okay, that's what it was you you were passing it and looking out for everybody. Yeah, I had him working. Yeah, I made sure that when I got on the block, I finally who's really making it, who're doing it? I put him in and make sure he put anybody else in.
You know what I'm saying. Okay, I'm gonna be out there too, gonna get mine, but we all what you need. You know, No, I don't know what up he go. And I ain't just busting out ahead all the time like that, you know what I'm saying. So I know how to finess my way in the game with motherfucker's and people and ship you know what. They're not trying to come in and strong on them and just take over.
And like I'm now, I get on. But if if I don't have to, and I can get this money quite as possible and move on, that's what I do, smart man. That's the best way right there, That's the best way to get down. So what was your spots? Try what parts? You know that's a long time ago stacks with limitations. Where were you allegedly at with different spots when you can move with your hot spots all over all over Jackson Money of photo author south side
north side of the southwest side. I just go way over, man, cause you know, you know, I just my nuts, hunting my stocks. But I know I had a good mouthpiece, and I know a treat people and talk to people and make sure we got that money. It was. It was all great. But when you come over another neighborhood or somewhere else, sometimes they know of you, you know, saying people heard, oh I heard a litty yeah, okay, that's such such, So they'd be like, all right, what
the name got going on? And when I put this present this money to him, probably gonna make this money together. Hey, everything, you gotta go out the wonder. And at the time, you know, Bloods and Chris one't real real big downhill, you know what I'm saying, So we didn't really have that's sick that said like you can't go over here cause you're gonna blue. You can't go you're all ready. We didn't. It wasn't that bad when I first jumped in the game back in the day, you know what
I'm saying. And I just stayed new to the whole time. So right now you can be at my house. Back then at my studio I have blood encryption the house. At the same time, we all hustling together. Ain't nobody starting no ship and they know him new to when you come fuck with me. Hey, it's all about money and we we o g we make this money, alright, We hustles. And the where I cared myself the whole entire time I disrespect them, didn't disrespect me. They showed
me love. That's how I just wrote. Man, I still rode that way right now today. Yeah, well, let me ask you this. Let me ask you this big dog. You mentioned the crips and the bloods. Not know they both deep down the Texas, all through Texas anything now, Yeah, they're deep through Texas. When did you know this week we year, did you notice, um the gangs like that starting to infiltrate like Texas Like nineties three DNA Danny three named fold, They really getting real deep down there.
Then nine four my brother he was a five dude who you know what I'm saying, And uh, he went to prison at ninety two and I went to NATY one. He went in NY two and I got out of name the three you the five dudes who and all this? Who were friends Sam that all little big boys that was that was non ranked up. When I come home, you know they don't. They was like, man, your brothers don't put in so much work with us. Bro, whatever
you need, man, you just holler. Man, you got us. Man, I said, y'all, y'all know all players, I ain't like dying now. O G. You don't made your way already it Bro, you ain't got to. I said, I find in You know what I'm saying. My brother right now still still locked up from anti nin to them their life Simmons. You know they got life Simmons right now. Oh wow, it's already that man, like so many of us,
man locked in them cages. Dog. And you know now when that first came down there did that mediant even resistance because I remember, like, um, and this is going back first, I'm richly from Cleveland and Cleveland what happened with us. It was a whole bunch of l a cats that came now and it was funny. It was like all the Bloods came into Accoring, Ohio. All the crips went in to Cleveland, which is the biggest city, but the Bloods kind of locked down them smaller little
cities around, you know, around the big cities. Like they wouldn't go into Columbus. They would be on in Bath, Ohio or somewhere Dating, Ohio like the other little all bringing places. But I know there's more of them started coming through. Did they come down here on the hustling too? That came out of husband? You know we didn't. I didn't. I ain't never. I have not one time, And my whole entire life got into it with a blood or crypt in. My whole entire life of being out in
these streets and not being in the streets. Not one time they came down there. They were like more they started what they were doing, but they respect us hustling cause we were more ahtown. He was down there hustling together. You know that we're gonna hustle from take work the different side of the town. They said, town, come get work or whatever. We wouldn't. We weren't on on that at the time. You know what I'm saying for us, Me and my click and my crew, the niggers I
funk with. We wasn't worrying about red or blue. Let's get this green. There was never an issue with me. You know what I'm saying, I guess I got blessed to be one of the ones that never had an issue with nobody like that. You know what I'm saying, for us, no, no, no game filiated. Well to be real, you know, the be honest with you and James, you
pably could attested this. Usually the guys to get caught up in the guys to be out there and then some ship they ain't got no business into anyway, cash that used to remain new for the mind and their own they really don't have too much to worry about. Often, well, a lot of this ship came when the homies just started bringing homies out there just to kick it. Them the ones that was hanging out and going to the stove start and ship with other people. They were not
there selling ope for nothing. They just out there to kick it. But they and then they wind up living there, you know what I'm saying. But you know, because it's totally different from being in the hood. See, in the hood, you couldn't get away with all that ship. You go out of town, like going to Denver. You know, when we went to Denver, you know, it was some homies out there that shouldn't have been out there, you know what I'm saying. So he bringing I bring two cats
to the homies to come and kick you down. He bringing two of the homies to come kick it. Now they're just hanging out doing their thing, you know, the game banging thing, and that kind of sucked it up. If if if the hustlers and stayed hustling and left the homies way to yet, the game would have been, it would have stayed tighter, because it seems like Troy had this ship wrapped up tight. Because you don't you
an't even had to go out of town. Need y'all, y'all just go around Texas and be good, go around texting, be good. You know. Then? Uh, I had a group from Kansas City right called Mask One the Seven. Um they were cryps, you know what I'm saying, And they ride around the k C ship on all down here and stuff. I had to get them straight. Hell up, man, I respect what y'all got going on, y'all signing my label, but I'm gonna hustle. I'm o g in this game, man.
I we don't just go trip called. They got on rail or they got on Grail, they got on ONNGE or whatever, so y'all be with me, and you see the dudes come around, don't y'all start tripping. They're gonna respect that y'all. They're gonna respect y'all too, because who I am. They ain't gonna just starting no ship. They know we're gonna have a big old following out if they do. So I had a group that was that was crypt and I remem I'm going to Kansas City
with him. You know what, They ain't going promote in Kansas City and go to the club. One side of the one side of the club is all all crypt, uther side of all Blood. When they're gonna dance for their dance and they go back to the side of the top they side of the club, and I'm like, Wow, what the hell out getting money like this? You know, I come down there to get some money. I brought some work with me to go for mothe for y'all and for me to hook up with everybody and down
in the city. But I just got me a new new trash spot down there in Kansas City and ship right, you know, we ain't having Crooked City and all this. So I'm like, oh man, this ain't gonna work. Bro. We need make some neutrics type ship and it didn't really work. It did, It did all right, you know what saying. But I noticed that at that between the times.
It was in like ninety six when I signed them in a six ain't sell when I and then when I signed a major label to signed to major label, they was having the issues and stiff called they couldn't go everywhere you know what they called when they go they're flagging, and where they go they're flagging totally. So now I go with them. We're going up as another side, the other side of town and stuff. Mothercker knew I was, They're like Detroit. They your boys tripping, I said, Now, many,
that's just what they're They're different Kansas City, Broy. They just done it with me, made my group. They're good. They're good, I mean, but I had to really talk to a lot of other people because they thought they were flagging. You know, if you're flagging, you bought about it, you know. And to the day, I have never learned that one of their game signs. Now, I can't throw up,
not one sign. And I had some crips with me as my as my uh my artists out of signed the lay, I don't signed a deal with the people out of New York. We're getting money. But I didn't never let them what they were doing dragged me into what they had going on. I never let what they were doing dragged me into. I feel like, no, I'm gonna drag all over on my side. One man as being a hustler, that where we can go what we wanted to go and do what we need to do. But that I felt that a little bit when I
had that group, wasn't that I did. Never. I never had no issues. No were Hey, let's pay some bills real quick and we get right back to y'all. All right, So you are there hustling and doing your thing. You see, if you went and sat, I don't do to be the ninety one, right, yeah, ninety one, I wouldn't be did a bid ninety one? Come back in ninety three, and that's when you came out, And that's when Short
Start Records really start cracking and doing anything. Right. No, I first I went to jail, already put our scar face for then. So you had already put our star face and went to jail and came back out and jump in the game again. Yeah, I went to jail and then eight and nine. You know what I'm saying. I mean, I put star faces at eight and nine. I want to jail to niny one and uh now I come back. In ninety three, I was by myself. My brothers done over, like my little Histan gangster at
the same time, you know what I'm saying. So then I started doing that when I put out masks when they're seven, you know, And I put out another little group and stuff and ain't the six and ain't seven. Then I was like, fund this, man, this ain't work. I gotta put myself out. Tell you what I put myself out in night sitting fat down South, I said, I put myself on the cuff. I got an age five hundred, big old Mercedes beings Coop, I got rolegs, I got Jerry, I got the money and people know
who I am. So what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna do my own album. Well I did my own album and then then I put um everybody out of the neighborhood on my album and it popped off called I wasn't never was afraid to go nowhere and promote my ship. You know what I'm saying, when when I had the other groups, they can't go everywhere cause they're flagging and where they go, you know what saying? So I can go to in the car watch, in the brewers shop
in the hood neighborhood. I jumped out into my big old callac or or my my coop Mercedes Beings, and I got CDs, I got concepts, and I got all this ship. I'm selling ship every motherfucking day, you know what I'm saying. I was hustling. I took the game
from selling rocks to sellers. First, I thought, I said the cassette tapes when I had scared face, and you know what, and and and to be real with you, sitting fat down South with your label's biggest selling EP of LP of all time, whenn't, yeah, sitting fat down South? You know that? When I put that one of the ball and all the other songs on there, you know what I'm saying. But that was me just putting other people that know how to wrap out my city on
with me and let me go promote it. Let me be the face instead of me putting somebody else on the face. And then they don't want to leave their high. They don't only leave their gal and they don't want to go promote. And I'm in the clubs every night. I'm in the hood every day. Every day I'm leaving out the house. I got a bunch of wax. I was selling wax at one time. To see the twelve inch vinyl, I just said twelve in vinyl and cast on the cone in the hood. Then when I didn't
sit fat down south, I put it out. And then I called a case in eight right case. And so I come back and said, you know what, I'm gonna tip of this album out. I put the album out, and while I'm fighting the case and fair case and ship the album pop off. I thought. While he was fighting the case, fighting the case, so come no room signed for some time now he is, I got a video playing on BT song playing and everything. You know
what I'm saying. So when I had them to give me some maxture time and I went on and got the promoted right kept it going. So and I shot a moving while I was gone. Before I left, I shot a moving in twel days. I saw my parts in fol days, so I let somebody let my people don't put the movie, and I went sat down in in January. In the d similar January Decemblary went to jail. I sat down there. Uh, you didn't had eighteen months come home when I signed with Universal. You didn't go
major till you came home. Yeah, I didn't know that I signed a deal with him. You know what I'm saying. I signed to deal with the jail, but I couldn't go promote or do nothing. But it already had legs. You know what they called turning drapead car and say made the people down in New York looking for you, Bro. I said, we're looking for my t He's a man universe Rugg trying to sign you. I said, Man, I'm gonna go to jail, bro. He said, Man, they were trying to holt you, Bro. So uh he put on
the phone with a month of living them. Then they flew down the next day because I had a show I was doing, still doing shows. I went to jail. They came down holiday means flew me to New York. The next day. I did a deal with him, and then I came back home. And the one later I went I went to jail. Did you tell him? Did you tell them? White folks? She was going to jail when you went down there and signed that paper with them. Now,
did I know I ain't telling them. I know I ain't know exactly what I was gonna get you, So I ain't I need to tell y'all. Not time I get this trade. Not you know what I'm saying, ain't no wrong with that. You when you say I'm gonna go get this check before I go to jail, they ain't gonna know that I'm gonna get this check and maybe gonna figure it out. They're trying to play me at first, though. They ain't think I knew. I din't know anything. I knew to new the paperwork and new
the business. You know that. They flew me to New York by myself, but I caught my lot in Philadelphia. He he flew, he throw the train down there. We end up going old paperwork and they see me reading everything in line for line, line for line, line for line, and I don't like this. Just don't take this out, take this out, take this out. I mean, they were tripping to see my law. You're not doing all that, and I was doing it. But I've been reading books
about the business. You know. Then when I go to take a ship. I said, don't read a book. Well, I need on the count the husts for a little bit. I go to then read the book. We don't have the internet then, so I had to learn the business. So when so I went to jail, I called him about four months before I started getting out of jail right and say, y'all, look here, I think, get out of jail. We need to start the big baller shot called the walk to Walk, Talk to Talk, fresh off lock.
We need to start doing all this, get some ship going on, you know what saying. They was like, nah, trouble. We're gonna have to wait till you come home and all this ship is. I came home, my amost fun with him no more. Oh so you just told to give you a release? Yeah, living high Toya played this time. Right. When I come home, I tell munch of you don't think eight months here go my album coup. I want to put my album And he said, yub Man, we need to uh just my release date. He said, trub
we can't get you no release date too. We hear the music. I said, what you mean you need to hear the music? He say, well, they ain't all the department need to hear what you're gonna put out. I said, hell up out my I'm on. I'm the A and R. When y'all heard my album was always already out selling, and that that's why y'all came to me. So I'm not gonna send my music down there and let somebody hear my music and tip what they like. That's not what that's not what's gonna happen, you know. So they
didn't want to give me h release date. I said, all right, I'm gonna just put this mother out my goddamn self. Month to come on. Now, you're trying to stop my liblihood. So he said, you know what you're we don't make some money to goods. You've been great artists and no problem with you. I'm gonna release you. I said, cool. So he released me the next day. The two days later, I wait, I say, monthy, I call him any money. They ain't trub what's going on?
You're coming back? I said, Now, I ain't get that check yet. He said what check? I say that pay? He play check for one fifty? He say what? I said, look in the contract, y'all put my next album. You gotta not you gotta give me one fifty and you still gotta pay me, he said, let me call you back. He hung up. T Hey, trys in the mill you had tomorrow. I had a pair of play uh in the contract and then put my album out. They had to pay me. Now that's some cold ship right there.
So I got one fifty from him just to let me off. Let me off they label. Yeah, and if I'm correct, that next ship you put out blew up, didn't it? Now? I didn't do the world tracing blew up. I put that. I put the album I with Cots when the Cots and got the sixty farter deal. So now I'm gonna really get paid. You know what I'm saying. I'm gonna get paid paid. So for the album came, I sip team and levem to talk uh and then
up everything. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, you know, rest in peace to all the people in fact that because we're not laughing at that day. Ladies in general were laughing at the sixth pastion he was in because everybody to put a record out that week, flock everybody, the last person. It was a bunch of us. There was a bunch of us that put the record out of the day. There's a bunch up that job. I can't think anybody names, but it was a bunch of a bunch of albums that put out that day, and
everything that went with Salt, you know what saying. And and and then my my business, it took me under cause when I got a side of the Cotch, I had a big old ass like a little mansion, not now a little manti down the mansion. Really all the calls I wanted and say, that is the three my safes being the Cadilliac, the vans I had navigated, had everything, all the jey I want. So now this this deal with Cotch, I'm getting sixty four to the deal. I can you know what I say, relaxing and you know,
you know, kick back now. But ship when that, when that happened, that that made me go on the ground. I mean that took took a lot of people out of business. I just never jumped off the building and killed myself. And the you know what saying, But my money drive up, when universal money drive up with Cotch, the money driver with saltwe's wholesale. We was all just like i'na about the Southwest holesale C James Southwest Hole Sale was a big distributor down there, you know, because
New Chance, Texas was selling a bunch of records. Didn't have to war to Texas. Then motherfucker's that filed bankruptcy and all I remember his motherfucker's calling my line that day. Talk about, man, these motherfucker's don't give me my money. Somethings gonna happen. You remember that day with Southwest so Stale like filed the bankruptcy ship and Nick closed the doors. Look before they closed though. Right now I'm saying that made am like a half million dollars sucking with him
right on one bill bawling. And then when I still had about I think twenty some dollin records still sitting on the ground, as I was said, when the university came in and picked me up. I made a deal with them and let me see about my color first, for y'all put your ship out. I got some moment out there here, cold motherfucker Troit. Let me ask you this, because you gotta bringing business mind, do you ever consult? Because I noticed it's very few of the artists in
Houston wind up getting sucked over it. You know, it's a few open that do. But you don't hear a whole bunch of them horror stories. Do you use the game? The young homies up before they jump in the game. Man, they don't come ask you know what I'm saying, a cloth don't get fed. But a lot of them they don't feel by the wayside, you know, they ain't. They ain't get the money supposed to get the as then making money off a lot of this stuff they've been doing.
It's just not publicized or nothing, like you said. You know, Man, if if they come and talk to me, I lay them up, you know you you know Universal Records almost have my master's Damn me like that, James. I'm just sitting there tripping there his brothers sitting there and and you know, because I'm on the other side where you know, I've seen the pimping going on. But the pimp and
pimping is what I'm listening to right here. Actually getting your money when I when I gave you, when I gave you Universal to add I gave him a CD and they made copies off of it. You just so you just gave the albums you would already put out and saying, here, you're gonna press this ship. Make y'alls on copas. They can't. They can't remix not one song on my ship. I got the rills. So let me
ask you this. So you didn't give them niggas none of the files get Troy, you know while we're laughing, because I love it, dog, you beat the motherfucker's that their own game pretty much, and you were so hot in the streets they couldn't do them, but accept it. They don't. They asked me why back for the reels and all that I gotta give him together. I got other songs on that I gotta transform, and I ain't never gave him ship, he said he gave and just
let it go. Hey, what they're gonna come down and take it? No that I ain't gonna do it, you know what. So one thing I always wanted to ask you, because you clarify something. Scar Face had the name Scarface before he went over the rapid lot. What made you decide like like when that happened, like you don't put all your time and invested your energy into this artist. Man. You say you were standing at your mom's house and then he comes to you want to go somewhere else?
How was that? Was that a hard conversation? Yeah? Long, and I don't make Monther's Street. I had made no moment's car face music. Yet that wasn't no big deal, you know what I'm saying. It was like ship, go ahead, I ain't dripping on that ship, go ahead, I get another artist. I care about that ship at the time, you know what I'm saying. And then with a James girl and put it out. He called me and told me, you know, saying, he needs to ill at me. You
know what I'm saying. So he came and talked to him. I said, Jay, man, I ain't worrying about that man. You know what I'm saying. Whatever you want to do with friends, you can do it. Phrase, I don't care about that. He said, look out, look out, try This is what I do for you. Once I get it popping, I get it going on, I'll come back and look out for you and give you some distribution to help you out some gunna weight. All right, how let me
when you get the popping there. And I ain't trib me, but after right now today he never helped me out. Get I went to him for a favor, and he didn't give me the favor I asked for. Hey, what it is? I kept it popping, You just kept it moving. Let me ask you this, when the um when your song blew up? Want to be a baller blew up? Did he come front of Hill action everybody? Then they tried to get me to put my album, my song on on the RealAge Niggers Down South album when they
came out, the realag Niggers Down South. They want to want to be a ball to be on that. I'm like, no, y'all can't have my man, and so I don't like, give you one of the other songs the niggas a bitch in my book or something. I'll have one of them songs. But other than that, we ain't had no no ties together, no kind of way. You know what I'm saying. Now you from now, you from South Park? Yeah, south side, south side, y'all have y'all used to have a lot of beef. Like I noticed down there in Texas.
This used to be the north side against the south side. That ship used to jump off, didn't it. Yeah, yep, we still went to the clubs out there. You still wanted you still when the clubs, there was a lot of niggers getting their cars, taking all kinds of ship, wasn't it. Yeah, that were back in the day. But you know, I ain't never had nobody to take my car, try to take my call, trying to jack me nothing.
You know, if I've never had that issue. Most of them knew me, you know what I'm saying, And they just got me to losing man back in the day. So you know I had that little little man that little man complex too. You feel the back nothing I have. I ain't had no big brother, so I'm my own big brother, you know what I'm saying. So we've made it through all that ship like this like that, you know, you know, because I went to I said, James, ain't looking at man. Look, I got a couple of bricks
to the side. Bro, I'll do a mask and might say, Man, give me sending the five thousand and I'll pay you back. Ain't no contracts and nothing, just allowing me the money. And that way I can have some money just to keep on flash. And I had a couple of bricks, need to get rid of here and there and ship. But he said, I say, I need some money and I need some contacts. He's a ship contact, more than poor than the money. You So just like that. I
don't forget that, man. I think we'll give me both the man, we'll talk about it, you know what they But at the time, I think I went here to lick or something, and you know, I'm saying I ain't need it, so I know back, I know when I never really went back and pursued it and asking forward, you know what I'm saying. So it was all good. Yeah, you know Troy and the thing it was, man, everybody out talked to tell me what it real cats you WHI was man and me just I was just sitting
there for the talk to you. Man. It's refreshing to be able to talk to a motherfucker that actually got some backbone to him, you know what I mean. Yeah, appreciate, appreciate, you know what I'm saying. And um, so you having all this success going on, you did another standing shield, didn't you. I just did that one and the fast thing that when I got the fair, they ain't been back.
So you've been living clean since then? Man, with all this stuff going on, and like, um, with all the stuff that's going on like in Houston right now and in Dallas, like all the killing and stuff that's going on. Man, what you think about that down there? You think these cats just influenced to influenced by what's going on TV and everywhere else. They too, They to influenced by something. I don't know what the funking is, because we just wouldn't killing each other like that at the time. You
know that, well I didn't. You know what I'm saying, You can't fuck with me. You're gonna get the business. That's just That's just it, you know I sing. But other than that, I'm trying to make some money with you. I don't give it down. Where are you from? What's going on? This makes some money, you know what I'm saying. When I was locked up, I was looking out my mother. When I was locked up in the fair and ship,
I'm looking out for mother down in the faces. I'm looking out for niggers that I got in the world, keeping them popping called that. You know, I was a manazed source, so I still was able to, you know, make things happen for him while I was didding the fas and ship. You know what I'm saying, And um. Then I had money coming in from the Universal to you know what I'm saying. So I was, I was
good and too scoff frace suit me. I get the letter, my lawyer come, my lawyer and my wife, well, my girlfriend. Rather the time they come to the feens, I said, damn Waring, what you're doing here, Papa? I got something the bad news for you? I said, what too many bad news? What's going on? Scoff Frey suing you? I said for what? He said, Well, he's suing you for a half million dollars because you put that that song that you did with him on your album and you
use his vocals. I say, man, then they've suing me for real. Once to say, man, they suing you man? And so I worked to deal out with scoff phrase. I gave him two and twenty dollars you know what I'm saying. You know, off the album Universal pay them on my behalf and then you know I got out. You know, me and him may have some little issues and ship going around for a little while. And know Beef, it was like on TV type beef on wax Beef.
We wein't there. We never had no issue. When we've seen each other or nothing like that, you know, and now today that we're good friends. You know, we talked every couple of weeks. Oh see each other. We laugh and talk about it and all that. Still, but you know, when he sued me, I was piste off like a motherfucker two and twin thought not said. We didn't need to give his bit of condo. It was just a piece of condo about all calls something. They gotta help you.
I got your start, and now you want to sue me because I put sample your voice on the songs of mine. You know what I'm saying. You want to sue me? Yeah, but I sell it with him. Yeah, but you know it. What's good to hear thold man that y'all both grown me in Abu and y'all put that ship behind y'all and y'all kicking it. You know what I mean. Oh, we took ten years. It took over ten years, old folk, before we started kicking it. Though.
We were beefing, and we would be from talking about your own songs and and podcasts and everything else for a good while. It went down. So he actually got you out of your character. He took you out of character. No they no, No, he didn't take me out of character calls. It had been one of us would have been here. I feel you, feel you. Yeah, so I knew I couldn't wrap against scoff He made songs by men. You know that they're talking about men and stuff. Okay,
that's cool. I made a DVD about them. I put a DVD out on them. You know what I'm saying. I know how to win the game. Now. I'm gonna win a fight. I might not win the way you wanted to play the play the game. I'm gonna play the game how I know how to win the game. No, since sin since you are good friends now and this is all stuck this out in the public record. I never got to see the dvd. What was on the dvd? Oh, man, boy,
I look at paperwork. It was called paperwork. A friend of mine, I adin't know, a little nigga guy out of jail, and um Scoffrey was on this paperwork and he can't hell mean little short say man, here is Coffred and no talking about you, bro. I'm from I'm from Softwolk where you are, bro? Hey, look at the papers right here, man, don't let them get away with it. And I seen the paper and read it. I was like, whoa, Okay, hold up, got my angle back now because I can't
have wrap face. Ain't too many mother's round you're gonna wrap face period on a record time y'all put a DVD I at the time, and and and and and with with a with a soundtrack to it, and I had the motherucker people so scared to look at it, people like I don't want to see that about I don't want to see that's that's too real. It was too real. Record store, some of the recortoes didn't want to pick it up. Dudes are like tripping, how the
fund you get this? What's fun? I mean that was tripping on how I put a DVD together and told the whole life story with me and face in my life and everything on a DVD and with the paperwork and ship. Oh man, I will go out of town if I find out he was doing the show. I would go out of town. Where you're gonna do a show to pass our flyers and stuff? Look who's talking? Scared face of the GETT boys to give it these you stabbing me? And you know what's cold that he
was stabbing. Not only that he wouldn't have made some money off the beef. He's setting strategem make some money off this. But they are y'are the friends now, y'all? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. He came back and trying to suit me and stuff and everything again. And we we met up and talked and we we were boys. Now I can talk about the ship now, you know what I'm saying. It ain't no problem, you know, you know, uh. I used must say nothing about it too much because
we're boys, not this ship behind us. But that's the point our history, no history. You can't notot you can't omit history. That's cool. And you know that that's all water under the bridge. I feel I can cause that on the phone right now. Yeah, have the phone about birthing. Ain't gonna say, you know what I'm saying. And we laugh and talk. We did facing Willie did a few weeks ago. Yeah, yeah, yeah, facing my Li brother talk on the phone all the time from prison. My brother
got may my Li brothers will lie down. I need to put this ad on the phone, like y'all. This day got a big old thirty five is TV hanging from the burglar balls covered on the floor. Everything in prison, headphones is radio, his cell phone and everything right now. And see if I get him on the phone, that's how I really uh man, man, my brothers will lie down there, man. Chronicles exclusive, y'all guys, the chronicles that they know what I'm saying here, krip, What's I'm saying?
He plays when he was, he played, he was seven teams. He's something and he's still he all just I'm doing active. He tried to talk to him about life now called he's much older and stuff. But he all of them know him, you know, everybody know him in the prison. I mean, he just like that. We're texting right queck. He gonna get the phone though, you know he don't call right back over and call right back. WHI y'all here, week, we got we got us a little time. We got
a little time. Okay, we're gonna tap in with some of the sponsors that help us to bring your this amazing content. Now, you know, try one of the things I was gonna ask you, man, we're talking about Houston, is there a divide between Houston and Dallas? Because it seemed like Dallas like a whole different Damn state. When you hold the culture, the whole coach is different. Dallas there using like two different states. That's like northern California
and southern California. It's like two different states. You know that. We don't fix all calls up like they fixed their calls up. We don't drink like they dress. We don't have no how culs like they. Well, we don't drink, you know, we drink serve and shit down here. How we started that ship down here? They don't do that ship down and data up there and Dallas like we
do here. You know what? But now, well we tried, Dallas niggas try to come out and do songs with certain Houston niggas and stuff, trying to get on, but it's never made nothing pop. I don't know why. It's just never been a big Dallas Houston connect And they're doing a bunch of shows and songs together and all that. It just ain't never just popped off on a while time. That's crazy. You know you mentioned that, sirup Man, And
it's a big opiate epidemic in the country. Man. There's people like especially in the Midwest and the South dog and he should even know here people is on them peels. Now, what do you think about that whole serup scene? Do you think that, like, what do you think about that? Because it was a big part of the culture, man, and that ship when Nation wid Yeah, I was one of the ones that will put it out there, Troy, don't give a funk doing I don't want I want
the man one that that was that was a contribut that. Hey, but I wouldet it. Bro Well, I've been hanging out with you. Would be a motherfucker just hanging out with you a mother laugh. Oh, dog, we go to Houston, Troy will be our host. Dog. I don't want to nobody else with him. Man, I had to connect with it, you know what I'm saying. And we did it, man, I say, we did it, man. And it was nothing for us to have two three hundred gallons at the time. Two gallons and how much that should go? How much
is a four? How much do gallons like? Eighteen hundred hundred gallons at the time, gallony that should be about about now? About we engaged the crowning was we're adding up drug show. No, I'm sorry, man, you know, I'm sorry. This is just a leg that what it was back then. You know what I'm saying. I tell many of you ain't cast me back then. You missed me. You shot
straight with shot late. You know I'm saying, because I ain't been involved in none of nothing, nothing illegal and ship since I got out of prison back then when I dropped the got out from them from dropping sitting fed down south. You know what I'm saying. I ain't involved with nobody at all. But I did tell I
tell you this. I bought some laying up in susan Uh Suserville, California, right for the acres and put me sitting two plants in the ground down it right, So you jumped in the weed business then, yeah, and they made me jump right back at the police called police called me my son sent my son down there to learn how to cultivate. So you're done, then learn how to cultivate. And know I got all I'm paid by all the seeds of saw everything. We got plants in
the ground. Send the two plants. Police flew the helicopter over and seeing that we've seen uh plants on the ground coming up, they called me, called my name is on the deeds of the land. They called me, asked me that I know somebody my property. You know, grown mel I wanna, yep, we got all proposition three for whatever. The proposition was that that we had to have a grown male. Wanna, I said, we got it. She said, well, um, I see that you don't have a dwelling house on
the property and a fit the foot well. I said, well, we're working on that right now. So I go and find uh a mobile home. I bought them mobile home. But that's the saying day I get it. I called the people trying to get the whale. Did fitting for Well Doug? I can't get the well? Doug said, ain't giving no permits. Oh so that sounds like the whole little play. They got a whole little place everybody. Yeah, that's how they shut me down. Then everybody else would
have been doing it. You've just seen mobile homes and whales all over that month. But see, now, if I knew that we need a fitting for Well Doug, I could have dug the wellow time I got on the property. You know what I'm saying. It was already there when I got there. I could even said that, you know what I'm saying, before I started playing out. You know, I take a water, get off, get your plane, start growing and get big. I could have been dug dug
a well, but they never said that. And so my boy my son then went to the to the town hall meeting. Some people was cussing like a motherfucker everybody up there and through the red they've been selling men wanted to be growing it all these years. They never had to have a fitting for the well. Doug. Yeah, you know what they're saying that. I was looking at some ship the other day on TV and they're seeing men that they each them people so much with this ship. Man,
people going out of business. Dog. They said, it's forcing motherfucker's to where if you ain't got no street connects with the ship and steal hustle inside, you can out of business. They worked for them, man, Yeah, pretty much. They're making it to where a lot of people that's been in Big James family owned businesses to go back generations where that's what the grandpa did. That's just what they do. He said, Man, they thought it was gonna
be better. They pushed for bigg position. They said that ship putting them almost making them homeless. They showed knock knocked me at the box on a nice mind of land and you know, getting up them staying out there, living out my son, my son is a rapper head. Just not told him a man. Dad on something else? Right now, go down in California, still on this property during How the coulde? They're gonna be our kids kids kids kids feature you know what I'm saying. So he
did it. But the counting, you know saying, made me take all them plats up. I had to take all of this. Oh now it's good, it should be good. Now. I told the property I ain't gonna deal with it no moment. You know what it was like, you just ain't so frustrated. But you know what, if you could have held onto that land, Troy, you you have hagged your way eventually on that motherfucker dog. Because I don't know it's people making the you know what, I just
can't ye ain't gonna talk too much. I hadn't. I had never seen the landing for I just bought the land off, just bought the land. They came down in, we did the deeds and signed the paper's hill. You know they had notary hill. I bought it from somebody down there, and I've never been to California. Never seen the land that was step foot on the lane at all, Miss Green. I just was a man, I invance. I'm
an us. That's money though, that's money because even with the property, so you really didn't you lost something because of the setting two plants, of course, but you got paid for your problem. And I'm pretty sure you got what you paid for. The mores on the call. They couldn't nobody because at the time they weren'tlet nobody to grow on somebody anybody really want to buy? That's crazy.
And I make sure they're growing all kinds of ships in that property now now everybody no those from years back. But I jumped in the game. I jumped in and went at it. Have you ever had any reservations? So you got so you're not working with it no more? Then on stops about. I got a bunch of weeds, stocks and stuff like that, A bunch of bunch of stocks and stuff and a lot of its in cannabis and stuff like that, hoping that the boom in the next couple of years or something, and I'm really get
paid from it. You know what, man, One one thing I was thinking, I wish you could invest in our government dog because this seems like they know how to go out and get money from every motherfucker body. You figure they taxed some motherfucker's that go to work every day, athletes the way they taxed them. Motherfucker's are entertainment. Text every city you and they get to dig in your pockets. If you're in the weed game, they're texting you for this,
texting you for that. It's like, how does the motherfucker's supposed to stay leghit? It's a hard hard you know, it's hard. You know what I'm saying you, I don't want to wrap no more. You don't saying I gratfuly bowled out. You know what I'm saying. They adn't like I had to stop rapping. I just gratefully bowled out, Like, hey man, I had my fun, I had my run, I made some money. Most of the best we a bunch of bitches. Hey, I'm good seeing a lot of states.
I'm good. I met a lot of people. I'm good. I ain't gotta do it them all. I got a platinum plaque on the wall to show my shoe wasn't platinum, I said, I got platinum plaque on my wall back here to show that. Ain't I've been successful to me? You know that what I do it again or not or whatever, I'm successful to me? I made it to me. Oh well, yeah you sure did, man. And the thing use you said a lot of regors. One thing I was gonna ask you, though, how the hell did you
get a print sample? Clear? Because because motherfucker's argue me down, I say, that's a little red corvette in the back of that rigor you know what I mean that? Yeah, you're right. Look at after we put it out of the universe, I got it. It's going up the short They called me the trump that was that Trence on the red card. I said, yep, you didn't tell us. I said, y'all ass you say they did, But they couldn't hear everybody can't hear everybody because what we did.
You came on a special twelve inch of Prince that he had put out, and we took it and we played it and showed it down. We replayed that. That's not as your sample as we played. Yeah, they we played the hill off that ship man, because you know what, we replayed that. We re made that song like that and then Prince was like, heard it, you know, sent it to him. He's like, I like what they did. I don't want nothing from it. That's our Prince. Either
he go fun with you, were he not? That's what I heard that he either go funk with you were not? And he very much for the artist, you know what I mean? I don't know. It's too many of them out there like that that lookout like that, like like you, little Troy, you know how you look out for your people, make sure everybody got money. It ain't too many that do that. Oh no, it ain't too many of them like that. And the force of the ones that he was like that, they usually wind up up and dead.
You know what I'm saying. That's a whole another story. Because because Prince was on some ship. Man, you know, you're being the music industry, Troy. You wanted the few people who don't actually lick them at their own game and beat them at their own ship, don't you find it? Man?
You look at Michael Jackson all the because you know about publishing revenue, right, all that money Michael Jackson made, all that money Prince made, and then both of them motherfucker's was on some ship like, we don't need no record label. We're not working with y'all at all at all, and they wind up dead. Do you think it was some kind of fire play POSTI behind all that ship? I well, it's that kind of money involved, and O telling coach, you know, people don't like to pay out
when that kind of money involved. And and they had it that they had it in their control that they were they they were there to take the Troy their own destiny at the time. And then the wife was like, no, man even to cut us out. Yeah, they don't like to see us tell them out. And then yeah, and can collectively they old Michael Jackson and Prince so much money that they if they would have had to pay
them all the once, he would probably bankrupt. They come so they just so it's like you say, man, sometimes it's easier just to go just to go tell a motherfucker night night. You know where they just pray off our weaknesses, oh weaknesses. Oh look, okay, I'm gonna telling you somebody else that made a whole bunch of mother money. Theyrenn with whole bunch of motherfucker money off their motherfucking as he ate out for their ass day. Don't suck
with him. He's still doing this thing, living like here, living and stick, you know, keep ship popping, and he and and he's on a bunch of mother records too. He did this motherfucking thing. Huh, he did his motherfucking thing.
You know. The soft as a whole though. Man. You know what I liked about the South, man, what I like about the South is, especially when Houston was doing their things, that you saw a whole bunch of black people just out there with their your own ship, dog just getting and getting money and get into it, you know what I mean. Yeah, they just say I'm independent.
The money we split the splendid because because I swear man with Southwest, whole sale was cracking James, baby, and then we used to cash money, baby and let me just go on there get checks. Fucking they get two million dollars. Dog niggas was getting it like that man niggas that she would never hear outside of Texas. Dog down. They're getting money like a motherfucker living the mansions and ship. I had some many pre orders man that I go through the pick up check like a motherfucker just on
pre order. I tell him if I'm good to work on the project. Give me fifty dollars, give hundred dollars to send the work on this project. Put out. He's a all right, well, I know you're gonna put it out. You gonna put it out. I got it. You drop a check. I would do. I would drop for all the fifty thousand dollars to you. You know what I'm saying, cause you know you're gonna sell eight nine records and his money back already at eight ten dollars red it
at the time. You know what I'm saying, So it won't like the streaming right now that gets zero points here one sent a streaming ship. You know up. I don't know. That's why I stop the game. I'm like now, I don't like to see it. Man, Who who making the money off this ship? Because all this show ain't making the money, not off streams. You gotta do biggons and streams to see some money. I'm sad about car through Starwizosa and getting eight dollars a CD or ten
on my own. At eight dollars a CD, I ain't gotta I ain't gotta see that many city either may don't mind it. You feel me? Man, I'm telling you they suck the game up because Doom Times used to be so good exchange and you didn't have to be a famous forever. You can see twenty five thousand units and have a bank roll. So you say they they didn't like that just to take the money out of pocket. You know what, I think a part of I think
initially it was just technology, right. I think you know, the technology, and that the ability to deliver music fast like that was reading at first. Then I think the white folks aw away that. Okay, it's the way we can lick the game with this, because the way they paid the artists on that ship. The only people making money dog really every month is the streaming sights. Yeah, they gotta pay. They gotta pay for the license in and all that ship, though, but they're getting they're getting
money from a motherfucker title every month. Once again, why would you put your ship on there out there like that and you know you ain't gonna get paid off? Oh it's it's it's a couple of artists to tell motherfucker's don't put my ship on none of them sites. And they want my ship, they gotta come by it for me, you know, what I'm saying, you could do
it like that too. But eventually all of them dudes eventually fold and they wanted to putting their ship on there because they wind up they wind up seeing that the physical game ain't there like it once was. You know when they took the stores down, Man, when I saw a warehouse music closed down, I said it is done. I said, it's a wrap now. When they closed twer warehouse and all that ship, I said, it's a wrap now. Sam Good, he used to be record stores from every company,
every car. I had a record store. They ain't had one in company. He had Underworld Records. I had Flavored for a year in Paramount. When that ship was done, Dog, it was done. Dog, the good old days was done the niggas. But you know what, I'm gonna tell you something, These young cats don't figure out a way to make the Internet work. From some young cats out there making
some money. Yeah, but see what you're the best thing to do is to put on the streaming service like that, go to YouTube and monetize your stations, your challenge stuff, and run all your music and everything through that way. Right now, That's that's the best thing, you know, Troy. I know you hustling tips. That's why I told you. I said we could keep you. Though. We ain't gon talk about the whole bunch of music we are because it's a big part of who you are. But we
canna talk about you some days. You know, I'm gonna go back to that served thing. Do you think served in the state of Texas was more valuable than cocaine at one time? Yea, to all the hustlers hustling cocaine, ifout makes your the ad served the cause they thought that was the coolest thing to do. You know what I'm saying. Anything about you drinking served, that's the coolest thing in the world. You know what I'm saying, because you you know you thank you're having a good time.
You're chilling, and you know what I'm saying. But no, you wasn't really chilling. I remember I came home one day and I had some served, right, and I would think my mom and say, what you got in that bottle? I said, yeah, let's serup, And hell, you know what I'm saying, simple little serrus. She said, oh, well, we have to put you to seat with that serry. Back in the day with the bottle them the bottles they bottles and stuff, and give you something. I used to
talk all of goddamn time. We put your heads to seat. I think for she say, I'm gon tell you something else too. You called yourself. Won't be the latest man, right you want jump in this bed, in that bed and please your lady. You bet leading serrup along. I stopped working with it right then. My mama told me, and we're gonna kill my nature. And he killed a lot of natures around this motherfucker back then, early man. You know, and that's a wicked drug dog because when
you want the opios, James, you sin serpent ship. Yeah, that's just the wicked ship because they have where. Motherfucker can't take a ship no more dog. Yeah up, they can't take a ship more dog. That's why they got start getting on. Oh here and ship man like that motherfucker's something. You overdose from that ship. You can't breathe. I don't see motherfucker's damn. The dogs like they just loans, just colap what me though, they're going to sleep on it.
I won't know. Dogs making me go to sleep. I want to be up. I want to be seen. What's going on. I gotta be a well, I gotta go on the top of it. Well, what's going around me? But you're on that side, you you would be in the red light. You've been sitting in the chill. You're be in a line and water burger, and you start knowing, not this I'm not doing that serves still cracking like that down there. Keep them the kids working with this stuff. Not to look people don't be honest, they still funk
with it. But I don't know what they funk with and what they do. You know, they called I don't live my life in that type of circle normal. You know what my niggas that I funk with do don't do third don't they don't do kindible, they don't do that ship like that. And it's one thing I'm gonna tell people because I'm don't judge what people do, man, I don't. I don't judge nobody's life what they do.
I just wishing the best. But with that sert man um, it leads to where after while the surpup ain't gonna do nothing for you no more. And it's really what we're doing is creating a whole another generation. The heroin attics, because what happens is when people can't get them, When people can't get that sirrup, they can't get them peels. There's too much money, you know what peoples cast shape pells.
You're gonna pay some serious breath for those. And you know if three or four ain't doing it no more, oh man, you can go get you some of that brown hair and winning. And that's when they can start that ship. And this damnly impossible to kick that ship. Man, Like, we're gonna lose the whole generation of people. Man if we don't wise up with that ship. Oh no, is everybody's the country? Right? Yeah, it ain't just shucks. I think we just need to wake up and be more
cautious to what the ship is doing. The exactly because we got more to lose than the next people. You know what I'm saying. Oh yeah, because I had a whole I had a big as bottle the serp dog in my cabinet for the longest, like one of them big ass you know them big ass leaders they give you. I went from my ass but one time, and they gave me that in a bunch of ship. I head up in the cab and I took maybe one thing
that that ship that knocked me out so much. I took a teaspoon and was sleep for like twelve hours. Dog man, I tell you what happened, right, I'll tell you what happened. Now. This ship had been sitting in my cabinet about four or five years. When the homies come by and I'll take the ship out because I'm looking for something else from the pantry, right and you see that. He says, still, you know what this hells? You got right? I said, yeah, I know where it deals.
He said, yeah, he said, he said, let me get a dog. He pulled out some money. I said, man, this ship three or four years old. Dog ship framed? No good, no more ship. You know. I let him going to take a dog. But ship. You know it's like man, he that like that was something he had shake that ship up. See Troy, thinking went out. That have been gone many man, I can I can imagine what it's like hanging out with you, Brouh, just a free, spared person. You know, I know you'll be out there
having a good time. Man, I know you'd be having a good time. Well, I have a good time here, and that you know, I don't got married and everything, and I got a brutiful, brutiful wife. I'm saying a lot of business. You know what I'm saying. I last year I went into a rental car business and bought a bunch of rental cars and stuff. So I've been
in the rental cars out then. Um two months ago, but three months ago I went to truck driving school, got my CDs and brought my eighteen wheel or something about. Come a teen wheels and stuff and coaust of them. You know you've been this man, Man, you're talking about change lane. I'm serious, Troy. We could come down the Dog and the nixt when we get this. That's what we do, James. When we get this other situation closed, we need to go down the Houston dog Man. We

There was a background of my podcast, my doors right now. I had a podcast I started, and then the COVID hit and I didn't want people come to my house. I didn't want
to do all the day. I really want to do in person, and I had different people lined up, and then I just stopped doing it. You know, with me, I start something. If I ain't feeling in the next week whatever, I can that project, do something else. I'm talking about getting on the motor shocles. Man. Oh yeah, but you ain't do no club though, I gotta I know everybody down all the clubs, right, I'm not. I'm not in the club. They'd be all asking me. Man,

Yeah, I don't want to, you know, I wanna free spirit ride and I want to ride. That's right, that's the best. You know, I'm thinking about redoing mind cause I heard some other people that was jam and I'm like, damn, I think are hitting it. But then I don't know if my ship tuned up right, you know, saying you got certain places that that's not a tune tune the music up right too. So but I'm happy with it myself, right, I'm happy with it myself.

grand babies to tell my story. Now she's been wrong for that cause she said, you need to tell your story in the first person because you know more your story than they're gonna ever know about you. But that that mean they just gotta do a lot of research and find podcasts like this shill. You gotta yeah, you gotta leave a blueprint, though. You gotta leave them. You gotta leave them. You gotta leave them with that, that
diary of Little Troy. So when they get when they read the diary, everything else is easy because they already got this right here. So just I never thought about that, you know, leave a diary form for them, for them to put the story right. You know. My wife said, baby, you don't did so much everywhere you go.
