We like to welcome everyone to another episode Against the Chronicles podcast and I'm with my dog today, Big Jag James. We was having a discussion yesterday about R. Kelly, and I kind of wanted to um teague on with that because me and you read on some things and disagree on some things. He's presently serving time right now. How many years of aget thirty? So he got thirty years, right man, It's been people that murdered people have got less time, and that people that got fifteen years is
people that't got awfrom murder. But the main thing, I mean two different scenarios. You know, he got convicted of uh trafficking, you know what I'm saying. How these people went with him willingly and came home. You know, these females lived with him, you know what I'm saying. And it's fucked up because you know, I've always heard people say, when you're taking care of motherfucker, they're good. When you stopped taking care of motherfucker, everything go back. And that's
what happened with this dude in this case. You know why the parents ain't being convicted of child abuse because ain't no where in the world. My daughter is gonna go and be going two weeks at a time, a week at a time at sixteen and seventeen years old, and I don't know where she at. So you know, I think they should be held accountable for their position. They rolled, they play in this whole situation, but they're not,
you know what I'm saying. So you know, I just think the lords fucked up when it comes to that type of situation. Yeah, it's wrong, and we're not condoning in any way, shape or form his actions, but you
gotta call a state of state. Sometimes it's like, you know, you see these parents, they were well aware of what was going on with their daughters and it was all good, like you said, when the bread was rolling, but then when the money stopped going through issue, But I mean, you know, even you know the way he conducted else, I mean, you can't say he's right. It's sucking wrong if you know, uh, you you thirty five and you're working with a seventeen year old, you know that hands off.
So yeah, he's guilty of that ship, Yeah he's guilty, and yeah he should be serving time. But I think you know the trim they threw him, the trafficking thing you know, they're almost treating like he was a pimp, like he was out there Pip and the family, Right, Pimps don't even get that much time. Doug. Yeah, it
just seems real personal with me. It just seemed like it was real first though to me, because you got a guy man, and you just imagine his mind stadiums Now he's used to being out there doing this thing, making music, traveling, going to go do shows and stuff. Now he's sitting the sale. Well, to me, our past, what we do today is gonna catch up with us, bro,
and he's not paying attention to that. You're not subject uh to to different ship because you're a sucking superstar because people see you, you know, because you can see you're not You're not what's going to that? So, I mean, what he did and what he was doing, man, he should that. He had a whole lot of time to think and reflect on how you getting down, you know,
being a rich motherfucker, you know what I'm saying. So, you know, females was so easy for this man because everybody wanted to R Kelly be around the r Kelly. They everybody, all these females want to be around that superstar, you know what I'm saying. So whatever his sexual appetite was, it could have been with a woman of age. You know what I'm saying. It's a lot of badass women his age. You don't have to pick and choose a
child to me a child. So do I say he's guilty of I say that yes, because I wouldn't do it. I don't need no female five and I'm fifty something. I don't need that. I don't know. Definitely, he's definitely guilty and he's where he should be. My whole thing was just a think with Lord James. We gotta be real careful because the punishment has to fit the crime. Now, if they gave him, if they gave him, you know, two to five years, said okay, he's gonna serve his thing.
And one thing we gotta remember R Kelly. You know, R Kelly can't read past the fourth grade left, so his level of understanding with certain things, it's kind of different. You understand what I mean. It ain't listen and I'm not making an excuse for him, but I think with him, he liked dealing with the kids, with the younger girls, because he was on the same wave Lincoln as them. I don't think he could have handled conversation with a
mature dog. If this man can right, if this man can sing sexual healing, and the way he do it he is mentality is well above talking to a woman of age. Bro. If he can't read, that don't mean he don't can't write music. He doing it, okay. So just because you don't read, Floyd Mayweather is a fucking millionaire. He couldn't read at the beginning. I don't know where his level at now, but he couldn't read me. I'm gonna speak for me. I didn't get past the tenth
month in grade. I court school in the ninth in the middle of the night. But my comprehension level is is well above a dummy, well abub a dummy. So I self taught myself to be better when it comes to reading and understanding what I read. So you can't sit in and tell me that dude didn't understand. I know the difference between a seventeen, eighteen or thirty five year one. He definitely did. And I'm not making excuses from and I will be the first who say this.
Some of the most breeding people that I know have not made it past high school. I know. I know too, billionaires that hadn't graduated high school. And then we can't blame it on his his high school school education. And they ain't got nothing to do with that. R Kelly is a is a man, A talented motherfucker. He can talk and he talked well, so he knows the difference and I understand that, I get it. But the only thing, yeah, he sucked up, but he is not the only person
in this situation that sucked up. Oh not at all, not at all. And there were other people, you know, I know R Kelly. He didn't mention nobody else in the thing. I think they were after him on purpose, James. I think he pissed somebody off and it was on him possibility, possibility. I think he pissed somebody off and he was on his ass man, because you gotta remember this dude is like R. Kelly is in his fifties, not right, Yeah, in his fifties, he'd be eighty year old.
Eighty years old, so they pretty much gave him life. He has life, and I don't know if he's gonna get the roll without how does that work? He might get action if I'm quite sure. He appealonated the time, so they might take some time off or whatever. I ain't never, I ain't there with the system man goddamned since but and the laws that's changed, so he might get lucky and get out sooner than that. But when you're sucking you in the vet's you're gonna do the
majority of that time. So as it stands now, he's looking to be seventies some years old when he come home. Yeah, and again I I gotta say this change because people haven't had it nowadays. Is not paying attention to stuff. We are not in any way, shape or form, controning this man's actions, not at all. If we think he's dead, that's wrong and he should be where he's at, well he should. I mean, JA Prince said this when you when you let me let me see it, because I
gotta say it a different way now him. We all make decisions and we gotta live. But of decisions we make choices, the choices we make, we gotta we gotta live with that. And you know it's not just R. Kelly out here that lived that way. It's not just R. Kelly, So you know, but don't come after R Kelly after twenty years, you know what I'm saying, Like they did Bill Cosby, don't come after him after fifty years and just dog him out because of a certain situation. Are
are he was getting too too too big? You know what I'm saying. So you know, we gotta watch ourselves. You know what I'm saying. When we get money, it becomes a problem for us for entertainers. Look what's happening with the rappers. They give money, we don't don't know how to to control ourselves and live right, you know what I'm saying. But you know it's just the way you do ship now with R. Kelly, Okay, he's in jail. But us as parents, how did our kids get in
that position? They was not cooking because I wouldn't know one thing you have to know about the music business, James, I worked in it for a long time, and whenever I did deal with kids, you know, anyone that was in the eight team, their parents were heavily involved. I'm talking about from the studio sessions to everything. It was always like and it was usually the mom. It's always the mom, and that was her full time job to
watch her child, you know. And I respected that. I actually liked that, And if I would have seen the kid in the studio by itself, I would have had a lot of questions about that, like where there is that? Because now you've got a liability something happened to this kid that rests on you as the company, you see what I'm saying. So, I think those parents were very well aware of the situation that they were in and they were fine on with everything as long as the
money was coming in. With a lot of people, they lived through their children. So you're pretty sure, you know, somebody's daughter as the opportunity to probably mess with R. Kelly in that fashion. You know, as far as the music goes and everything, he's a brigant songwriter, he's a brigant producer. Why would you not want your son and daughter involved with them? You understand you wouldn't want them because they're not of age to make those decisions for self.
So the parents has the right are supposed to be parents and and and make decisions for the seventeen sixteen. Exactly what I'm saying, bro, is that they should be around to manage those situations too. It's almost like the kid has a chance to make it in life, right, a boy working with this certain guy. But you still you can't just trust the fact that he is celebrity he's gonna do the right thing is you don't know
this man. You don't know what kind of defiant ways he may have thoughts he may have in his mind right of that they was trying to get a record deal, whether they was just females groupies, regardless of what the case might have been. If they are supervised, supervised by parents, none of this can happen. They shouldn't be left alone with r. Kelly. This is a grown ass man, this grown ass man, so you he have to hire a shopping wrong from my child. My child ain't going nowhere.
You're grown man. When the way ship is going to day and the way people UH conduct theirself today, you gotta be careful, especially with your kids. You gotta be overprotective. You do. You have to. I've never seen one of the games. I never played, James. Thank God, all of my kids are grown now so to speak, like my daughter just turned their team right. I've never aliveed none of those guys to go for other people's house suspending night. My whole thing was what you got to go spend
that over the house where you seeing tomorrow. I don't know their parents, and even if I didn't know the so I felt like my kids need to be in the house of my house at that time. There's just too much stuff that can happen. What Like I said, that's the difference. You have good parents and you have bad parents. And then you have parents that don't want to be parents, that don't give a funk. You have parents that want to hang out and get high with their kids and don't see no wrong. Do what you're
gonna do. I'm doing me. You've got mothers out there that want to be the home girl or or hang out in the clubs, don't have time to be parents. So that's where we fall victim too, and should happen to our kids because we're not policing or patrolling our kids like we should. And I say we to not have people think that, oh he's gonna say they No, we should be protecting our kids. My daughter went to prison, and I think I did everything that I can do for her not to go to prison. I couldn't imagine
my daughter in prison. You feel me? So I had a big issue with what the fund. Did I do wrong? Because I had her for eight years, but I allowed her to go back. So that's when everything went back. But you know, I put that ship behind me, and and you know it's You're still a parent. Whether your kids get grown or not, you're still a parent and I want the best regardless. But some of us don't think like that, bro, some of us don't think that
my days is over ship. I'm I'm a parent and a grandparent and taking care of mines a lot of that. And that's the thing, because you never stopped being a pan right now, I told you, you know, it's not like with my daughter turned eighteen, I'm gonna tell her, Hey, you eighteen, it's time for you to go making the world. No, I'm well aware. Hell, I got one that's grown as all get out. He paid his own bills, but he's still in the house with me. Right. Let me ask
you this. Your daughter just turned their team. Right. Can a thirty year old cat come to the house and say I'm taking your daughter out? Oh? No, definitely not. Okay, there it is there, There is there. We would have an issue because even though she's of age right now, for technically by the laws, she can do what she want to do. No, I'm still a parent. I still have to be responsible to say, no, dude, you're too old for my daughter. Yeah, you know how old she is?
Because and my thing is this, I wouldn't be so quick to blast home either, because the first thing I'm gonna do with I my ask and I'm gonna say, did you tell this man and how old you were? Did you tell? Did you tell him how old you were? Because the thing, you know, my daughter eighteen, but she looked like she could be twenty or twenty one. But would he be a predator though knowing that she eight team but still like her? Yeah, I think to a certain point, I think it comes to a point, James,
to where it ain't just about the legal ramifications. You've got a moral responsibility. Because my thing would be is the man being the age I am. I'm fifty two now. I wouldn't see no need to talk about with my wife. I wouldn't eighteen year old ain't got no conversation for me, right, right? But you know what I mean, I don't have a conversation for her. She don't have nothing for me, right, So that's that's cool. Man, but yeah, ship has just sucked up today, you know. But they're going up to
your boy bill again like you just see it. They're going out the bill calls be again, and why that man is old? Let that man live. It's like you know what I'm saying, he's out letting him do him? But you know I can't nobody and then see the cold thing about it is all of this ship happened forty years ago, fifty years ago, in his prime, and y'all want to attack this man now, just like it's a statutic. There's no statute what's called him? No, what's
called him? Statue of limitation on murder? They should put you don't like this type of ship right here? You can't come and holler rate after fifty years and I go to prision board, you gotta like bucked up? It should it right? When you know what? You know what I do think? Man, I think it's like this. I think because there here's a statue with limitations on certain things. I believe. I believe this, man. I believe a woman's body is hers. If a woman tells you know, it's
no right. I believe that you feel what I'm saying. So we're both thinking of the same wave length. Right, I think like this. I think a lot of people see opportunity. James and I want to get this disclaimer too. We're not saying that we don't agree with none of that. We don't agree with great. We think of woman's rights are her rights, and she has the right to choose to do what she wants to do it anytime, even she has started already. She has the right to tell
you, you you know what, I changed my mind. I don't want to. She has a right to do that. But what means ain't both for sayings that at a certain amount of time it should be a thing. Well, why did you wait so long to come forward? Right? I mean it holds no variance there standing on. Okay, now, you're only saying that he touched me. You ain't got no finger prints, You ain't got nothing to say that this man violated you. But you're words. Come on, man,
it's it's crazy, bro. It's money, James, A lot of it's money too. Yeah, and and and me and you talked about this even with your son. You know, being in the NFL, you know you're gonna have females look at him and say Oh yeah. You know, you got women out there today that looked for athletes because they feel they paid. Not all women, but you've got some women out there with that mentality you got, so you know you have to be careful in history. Tell you
what I'm saying, I ain't lying. There's a lot of men out there that pro athletes then got caught up. But hey, if you keep your ship to yourself, you ain't got no problems. So you know the month and this is what they saying. I wanted to find this um. And when y'all see me looking down like this, it don't mean that I'm sleeping out there looking at It means I'm looking at my damn, I'm looking at some information. You feel what I'm saying because I ask somebody tell me,
way up, steal what time? I'm like, dude, like, how would I be holding the conversation? I'm sleep anyway here. There's yesterday, a civil jury found that disgraced comedian Bill Calls the sexually abused Judith Youth when she was sixteen years old the nineteen seventy five, and the wake of the verdict, calls the team is calling it an astonishing victory yesterday, actoring comedian Bill Calls he was awarded an astonishing victory by jurors and a civil trial brought by
You to Youth. Read the statement from college spokesperson Andrew Wytt. The jurors decided to bran Judy Hoof with a five d thousand dollar verdict for voted nine three in favor of not rewarding this youth any punitive damages. So they're gonna give the girl some money. I guess then, right, the voting nine favorite not rewarding miss you for any punitive damage. It's strange to consider a verdict which confirms
cause be sexually assaulting to monitor in any sort of victory. However, the part they seem to celebrate concerns the punitive damages, which, if reward would have been caused be active with malice of pressing or fraud. Many he would have to pay a lot more money despite the victory caused these. Lawyer Jennifer Boyan plans on a pillion of verdict, stating Youth would never receive a pay there so she won five hundred thousand dollars. That's what I'm saying, James. It was
a it was a civil trial. She wanted to go get some money, right, she figured everybody else got paid, I'm gonna go get paid too. So what grounds do this is in nineteen seventy five? Know him? At what point you're telling me from nineteen seventy five to now, you're you're still a victim of circumstances of what he did to you. Come on, if he did that in nineteen seventy five, he should have been going to trial at court for that. He should have been a arrested.
If you, if he violated you see people get out of out of this ship. When they said, oh I was scared. I didn't know what to do. You know, Nigga's getting ready. Oh I didn't know what to do. So I didn't say nothing. That's embarrassing. No, if a motherfucker violated you, he should go to jail. I don't give a funk what. But in nineteen seventy five, Come on, man, that's forty something, forty seven motherfucking years ago. That's wrong
to go. I'm gonna take you. The thing that trips me out about the calls we think this new thing is they considered that a victory. Okay, she only gotta get five hundred thousand dollars because they did never mixed the fact that okay, so you did this Bill, Bill was off the change man. I'm not saying Bill probably deserved to do every for the time, but he did. Listen, Bill Cosbi and the only motherfucker they was touching and growsing people. You're a rich motherfucker, you do what you
want these people coming into your circle. These people put theirselves in situations that they don't have to be. If you knew this motherfucker grow to one time, you know not to be around this motherfuck again. On top of that, Bill Cosby, that black man ain't the only motherfucking man that touched people. Hell, Donald Trump say, grabbed the pussy. Well that's what I was gonna say. Donald Trump is
probably the worst one of them off. But if you notice, he had the same accusation story him, but all those people got made look like they were frogs. Why because he took a different route than Bill Cosby. We're gonna get rid of you, motherfucker's are we gonna pay you? Motherfucker's under the table for the ship to go away. Bill Cosby felt like, wait a minute, this was too long ago. I ain't did that. That was too long ago. I don't remember that ship or whatever. I'm not guilty.
So he thought that ship. He both paying all these motherfucker's off and let it go away. You see, I think I think Trump and that was with the UM. I forget the lady's name that had the accusation against Trump, the porn star, but he had already paid her off though, so she had a thing to where she she wasn't supposed to come back and say nothing. Donald Trump ain't playing on games. I think Donald Trump is probably more
gangs than all them dudes. Yes, yeah, because he didn't have these type issues and he didn't do a look at time, right, So I mean, you know, it's just it's all about the person. It's different. I don't want to say try to pull no race card and says it's all about the race. But man, let's just be drying and cut. I mean, you know, we get the hardest sentence than the next motherfucker. You know what I'm saying.
We had looked at as animals and most people eyes opposed to I committed the same crime this motherfucker did. But I get fifty and he get four what's the fucking difference. We both killed the motherfucker. Yeah, why he only get four and I get life. So I mean, you just gotta look at it that way. And I think all black people gotta be careful in any motherfucking way. Yeah, they do, you know, because we're always under surveillance. We always um, you know, shout up to my son. Man.
He just took me and my wife and my family. We just went out to Hawaiian. You know, I'm had a good time out there. And I noticed we was in a really nice hotel, right, and it was real weird because you know, you're walking the hallway with somebody ain't paying attention to him, but they could tell they
kind of work wondering about you. So I'm walking behind these m this family, right, they got two kids with him, one holding the baby, and they're walking and they were walking so damn fast, James, like, they're trying to get away from me. Then they run to the door in the room and they get that. They fight, They mess up with a little card to get the room, and they heard getting their slamming the door, and I'm like, damn, that's that's been happening. And happened to me in my
early days. You know, you're standing in the market or you're standing in the bank and a motherfucker clinched their purse or walk past their car and then you walk past them and they turn around and go right back to their car. They just they just scared of black people. Yeah, like we just do it. Like like me all by myself. I'm just gonna check you, your husband, all your kids. I'm just gonna grab y'all and just do whatever I
want to do. Y'all. It's like it's it's crazy. We've been going to that forever and they ain't gonna stop no time soon. And I'm gonna tell you what's not making it no better? James, you know, you look at r. Kelly, You look at that guy Bill calls me me, and you both know people personally that they have done things they shouldn't be doing right that may not necessarily be against the law per se, but like, man, that girl, man,
you got a daughter, her age. Man, come on, you got an exercise better judgment and that Yeah, he know better. That's what I said earlier. He know better. So I wouldn't give a funk if he couldn't read it right, He no better if if if you know she's sixteen. But the cold thing about that is some of these girls don't look sixteen and seventeen. Some of these girls are they sixteen seventeen? But saying fast, last girls out here? Yeah, so after the girls they lying at this point, he
didn't hit already, so it's too late. So I don't even funk. I old you is now I'm man, I'm enjoying myself. But the ship that he did, I mean, who ain't freaking I like the whoop a motherfucker asked and put body que pins and ship on the nipples and do whatever you know. But do you understand what's going on? She okay, that's cool. It six things, But that's what I'm saying. That's a difference you with another consenting a dot. And if y'all decide to go in
there and poke each other's eyeballs out, that's y'all. Rights is grown as a dolts, don't nobody somebody, nobody should have anything to say. But when a girl is that young, and this is what I truly know, James, and this is what you know too. When you're young, you can't process, you process things a certain way. It's not necessarily the best thing for you. See there you go again. These
kids be a conscious. These kids get and get them v I P. Passes and looking sexy and older than what they are and then want to go and meet or they go to the rooms and standing by once they find out where your rooms and ship that they there. So that man and walked into that that that that hotel, and uh, you have a whole bunch of boopies right there he got he can pick and choose. Let me get them through. So he got somebody grabbing motherfucker's. He
got somebody grabbing motherfucker's out the audience. He got somebody grabbing motherfucker's that behind that line. Oh for sure, C James, I'm not seeing them. These people are innocent. I'm not saying it at all. But what I am saying is you ask any If you ask any thirty year old one in the day, they might have a sorry ass, or might have had a relationship that maybe wasn't the best thing. May have been an older cat that was married at something else. Now she got a kid and
kind of just getting hit off to the side. If you asked her now at thirty if she would do the same thing that she did when she was seventeen eighteen, them gonna tell you I would do things way different. They're actually baring their kids and stuff. So you know, it's one of those things, man, that where you do mature as you get older, because I know, I'm definitely not the same man at fifty two that I was
at twenty two. Totally different people. And I know for a fact that you're not the same person that you are now then you were when you're nineteen and twenty. It's just different. You grow and you evolved, you know what I mean, You crossess things differently. So I think with these girls with kids, I noticed they live in the moment. Well, I was like that, you were like that because we feel like we're gonna live forever. We
don't really think about stuff, see what I mean. It's a whole lot of stuff I wish I could go back and change. Well, these young girls, they like that entertainment ship they liked these same years. They like them singers that you know, the Ushers and and all that ship genuine and all of the other ship. They like that ship. They love entertainment. They love to see that's their man of today, you know what I'm saying. So, yeah, they are vulnerable because that's what they like, you know
what I'm saying. And and when you get a man that that's into that type of ship, that has that mindset, I'd rather fun with a younger female than an older female because I can tame her or my conversation is more stronger to her than a woman of age. You know, a woman of age ain't been a biting into that dumb ships say, yeah, older woman is not going for certain stuff, dude, especially when they got their stuff together. They don't give a celebrity right. They will tell you, no,
we're not doing that. This is the way this go. They gonna dictate the terms of how things are go to go. What I'm saying, You see what I'm saying. And if the major thing is still man, I'm gonna tell you what's happening to James. A lot of these um guys when they talk to these girls or whatever, it's a thing that what you say, they may know in the back of their mind to look at us, say she's look a little too younger for damn. She
finds hell, you know, she finds itself. So some people sure to choose to ignore the obvious, right, You see what I'm saying. Some people play games against the obvious. It's like, dude, you look at her. I don't care how she looked. She looked like a baby. She looked like jail Baker. To me, we will be honest, man. Some some other fuckers just don't care, just don't care.
But are they predators? Hell yeah, anytime a man up with a child, he's in his thirties and forties and fifty and you you want a tuny two year old woman, That tuny two year old woman ain't gonna make you no younger. You're still a old motherfucker. You're still a sucking sugar daddy. But you got young women out there looking for that older dude. They want to be taking
care of. They want the money. But you, you solicit your body for dumb for you know another thing that these young girls not thinking when they're messing with these entertainments. I'm not gonna say no James names James, but it is two big R and B stars right now. They've got herpes. It's a whole bunch of them running from wrong with herpes. There's a punch that I'm running around
with HIV and whatever else. So you have to be really really careful because especially with the fact um with everything is able to be managed now because of medicine, right, So you know whereas thirty years ago if you had herpes, it was almost like, man, my life is over with Now people going on with their life and they take them feels and they're not giving the damn about springing to nobody else because they have the resources to take care of theirselves. But they had to go offenstly with
somebody raw and give them a disease. And I'm talking about these girls as young ain't even live their life yet, and these people who don't give a damn. So I always told my kids without what I told my kids was just coming up because one thing is about the James. I don't care how good of a parent you think you are. You're not gonna stop your kids who want to go do their thing. If they want to go do, if they got to make it up in their mind, they're gonna find a way, just like we found a way.
They go sneak off and trail off and do stuff. They go find a way to go do it, so you have to execate them and be real what I am. I told all my kids. I said, it is very real, herpes is very real. It's all kinds of other stuff you can get to that people don't talk about with our kids today. They choose not to listen to what the parent is saying because even if they get it
from somebody else, they might believe it. But trying to school and groom like my daughter, you know, telling her what type of nigga, nothing ever with at that time when I had her. You don't want to do like your daddy. You don't want no dude like your uncle, timity your uncle out. This is what I don't want you to do. Any man that put his hands on you, any man that called you out of your name, any
man that just disrespects you, walk away. Don't deal with that situation for a year, two years, and then say I don't. I can't get out of this bullshit. You have a choice, and it shouldn't take you six months to find out what type of person you have or what you're dealing with. So you know, even though you know I explained all this, you know, our kids tend to go with the opposite because they have yet to
live that life. They don't understand it. Even if they hear they don't want to hear that from their parents, so they think they know everything or I know what to do with that. Every were those Thames for a minute, that was me. Somebody probably hear my fault my dad. So yeah, you know, I think no matter what we say to our kids, our kids gonna feel that they're old enough to make their own decisions. And and we're
not in fault for that. You know, our kids go out and think they're growing and do doing what they're doing now. They want to get high and drink because their friends doing it. And I tried to show my daughter different, but like I said a minute ago, she chose to do what she thought or what she think is right. And sometimes you know what, and sometimes it's crazy, it sounds says. Sometimes that's the best list of the
life form. When they go here and do what they want to and don't turn out right, then they are able to process and say, you know what, moms is right about that possible telling me the truth. But sometimes you don't get you don't get to come back from your mistakes. Sometimes right, it's too late. It's too late, you know one thing about it. You know, when I was in Vegas, man, I've seen these young girls, you know, coming into the casinos, you know, seventeen, you know eighteen,
They walk in the strip, they runaways. So everything every nigga out there, every dude out there, excuse me with nigga, but every guy out there that was so calling themself being pimps, there was like a they are They knew who to get, they just by how they and their little girls was dressed. So you have a lot of kids on the strip, a lot of these young women
out there being prostituted. Bro, you know what I'm saying, because they don't want to buy by nor listen to what mama, daddy gotta say that's out there right now exactly, So they run away from home because they want to be grown. But then you got some of them out there that I know, um, which they never took that right, A whole bunch of saying. You know what, man, life is all about choices. It's all about the choices that
we make, um. And I noticed what that's especially as black people, we have a tendency to flame mark choices on somebody else right, choices that we make, you know, Like, um, if I go out now and decide to go get me. Um if I decide right now to Gordon buy me anouncer cocaine and I'm gonna flip this in front of make some money and I get caught in the way back, I can't be mad at nobody else but me. I can't be mad at to do the solda to me. I can't be mad at the homeboy that might have suggested,
Hey man, I got a quick way we can come up. No, because I made the choice trail off and do what I do. You know what I'm saying. So we can't blame nobody else but ourselves. And I always tell my kids, man is hold yourself accountable because you can't a lot of yourself. You can sit up here in a lot of me and your mama all day. But don't you think that. Don't you think what you're saying right there. That's not just with black people. That's what all people
of coloring. Oh, it's with people of color period. It's it's what people in general. People have a tendency to blame other people for their problems. Like if you asked the average white guy on why he doesn't like black people. They will come with some way out stuff that's like you like that, But how does that How is that applicable to the whole black race? You feel what I'm saying. But they may have done something out of the pocket before.
They may have lost the girlfriend to a black do before and they hold that they here, Or they might have got the ask by one black person before, but they might have done something to deserve that ass whooping and they're not looking at well, you know what, I was out the way and it didn't have nothing to do with him being black, for me being white. I just got my ask for from doing some stupid ship one day. Well, you know, I look at it like this, bro.
Half of the white kids today, even that's fifty and in fifties, they don't know nothing about racism. They talked, They was taught that ship just like us. We I mean, why do we hate some of us hate white people because of what they've done to us. I mean, we don't live that history. It's our history. You just gotta be careful on how you moving maneuver around their asses. Yeah, and I'm gonna tell you this, James, I'm gonna tell
you a story real quick, man. When I first came out here from a while, You know, I came out here from a while. They have put us in these apartments to where we had. It was a coolst set up. It was like a two bed room apartment to cats steak room. Right. You know, we college students, right, uh, you know, had a walk strings riding, a nice little kitchen. There was a nice little partner. Right. So when they put this in there, and the coach did this on purpose, I asked him later on, he said, I did it
on purpose. So you gotta need to know each other. We had two cats in there. It was some cats in there from Florida, from Miami, Florida. All the brothers hung on one side of the department. The white cat sung on another side. Right. So, come to find out, the catch from Colorado had never been around the black people before. You know, my guys Miami and me, we always kind of just stayed to our own. He was from a lot of racism Florida, a lot of racists, hired a lot of racisms. So we kind of had
the tendency to deal with our own, right. So what he did was he made us all switched different badrooms. He made black. You gotta stay with him so for a room, Nate, Yeah, and I'm gonna tell you wound up being one of my best friends. And he was a person whose dad was pregnant. He had grew up being you know, like being around a lot of racism. But his mama was very different. Marlene O'Connor, one of the greatest white women I don't never met in my life, treated me like a son. She had moved out to
California to take care of him. Is like second year, right, something I thought was crazy. I was like, damn, his mama really loved him. You know, she can't way out here just to stay you know where he was at, left job and everything came. I ain't got an a partner right when she came out. Dude, he kind of took me with him. So I was staying with them. I lived a whole different life, all that struggling I was doing their first Dude. They changed, and I would
never get this woman a dime. She did at the kindness of the art, steal one for people. I know. So you come from a situation of where you can't judge everybody. Now her husband they had divorced by them, but he was a very racist man. I didn't like black people. So that's how kid was raised a little bit of until he met me and found out like, well, man, all the stuff my pops told me ain't really true. Just dude like my brother. And this is the dude
that we got for all kids. You know, I tell you all the time, kids, the biggest red make on the planet, like going hunting, like going hunting for deer, drive big trucks and everything else. You feel me there we go, yeah, my back, it's all good. Yeah, but you know you can't um, you can't like everything even always is black and white as we'd like to make it. See what I'm saying exactly. And you know I learned that, you know, with grand Kidding and his wife, with Greg
and Donna. You know, I didn't know them from for nothing, their son. When I went to Australia, man, they treated me like I was one of their own. And this is the first time I ever interact with white people like that. So no, I didn't want to stay in the same house with them when I was down there, but just being there they made sure I was okay. Uh. The conversation. Greg actually gave me one of my uh my insolent shots, you know what I'm saying. So they
looked out for me. My fucking wife didn't even give They never gave me a shot. So it's not the color of the skin that you look for. And you just see the different genuine people gonna be genuine people, bro, Just like that dude, he had to see and understand that he's in the room with a with a black man, So all his inferiors went away because you was a good black man. You know what I'm saying. All black people are not thugs and violent, you know what I'm saying.
We're talking about a dude that James, if you saw this dude. First of all, Kevin has always been real swollen. He wanted the real swollow white dudes. Man. You know, always got always lift the weights, always got on like some sweats or something. Right, right, we wound up being thick of Steves though. Man wound up just being cool and me and him couldn't be no more opposite than anything else. Should be listening to different music, listening to
different everything. But he was just today yeah right, yeah we're cool. Yeah he back, Um, he lives actually in um the Philip Pennsylvanity, the p A and got a truck in business. He got three or four trucks got It might be good to get him on the show, and let's hear how how he felt about it happening to interact with you, understand, kid, I gotta see kids
with that for sure. It would be real interesting. But you know when I say all that to say, man, like you know, I hear a lot of brothers they think with the r. Kelly stuff, it was a racism involved. And I said, you know what, maybe to a certain degree with the sentencing, I don't know if it has anything to do with racism or more versus that people are just taking a hard line of ship like that
right now. As far as mistreating women, you feel what I mean, they're taking a hard line on it right now, man, And it's an element of race. I'm not so eager to say, James, that ain't an element of racism to it. Because his sentencing was wrong. They brought in things that didn't have nothing to do with his trial. He didn't kidnap nobody, He wasn't not there forcing nobody into being sexual slaves. He wasn't forced nobody to do nothing. He just how mean, how many rich white kids get slapt
on the rig on the risk for a girl? Holland ray Bar he touched me in appropriate leg? How many of them get slapped, you know, get slapped on the risk? You know, it is a different bro It is a difference. It is about the color you know, your skin when it comes to certain things. You know what I'm saying. I said, I think it played. I definitely think racism.
We gotta be one hunting with it. Yeah, played has it has some elements James of racism because of the sense because you know, when they started talking about they pretty much him like he was a pimp, like he was like not not just a pimp, like he was a child smuggler, human trafficking and something. They like he was human trafficking. But how do you give him that? And and and he's the only motherfucker's indicted. He the only motherfucker that's doing time in prison. What about the
people his entourage? How do he get these girls? How do we do this? So they didn't give a funk about investigating that type of ship. They just went after him, not at all. And some of those parents should have went to jail. Two. I think if this happens right now, let's say my daughter five years old before and I decided to leave her here at the thing. I said, okay, I'm gonna go to the story. Of course, you stay
here and watch TV. I'll come back to the house on fire, and she on que three or four people. I'm going to jail flex that was my responsibility. I shouldn't left a five year old. Now leave Linel A Linel smarter than will, but you won't go leave Linel by itself somewhere from a long time. So what you're
saying is those parents knew that their child was gone. Yeah, parents knew from the beginning that their kid was gone, whether they cleaped out and went to uh cowbo with with with R Kelly and then once they found out, should data called the police and say this grown as man's it's working with my daughter bringing out of town when he and see my whole thing is this. If it would have been me and my daughter, I would
have been meeting their grass up there caw bow. I would have been when she came and tried to creep back in that thing. I'd have been waiting downstairs in the dark, and I'd admit them outside or whatever soon as they nick with the dropper off. He just saw my face looking at his window, because I think I would have wanted to know what was going on, because,
first of all, that's my responsibility. If my daughter is fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, James, and she sneak out this motherfucker at eleven o'clock at night, one o'clock in the morning to o'clock in the morning, it's my fault, right, it's my fault. That's my bad for not paying attention, because you gotta know your kids, and a lot of people listen to nial on who their kids are. James. I've never worked rose colored lenses
when it came to who my keys was. So if somebody came and told me your kids de sux, I wasn't so quick to say with you. A lot of my child would never do that. You don't know what your kids capable of. You got a lot of motherfucker's out of here talking about their kids pretty, but they're ugly and the motherfucker. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I talk about my grandkids. I talked about that Mama's I
talked about everybody. If you're ugly, ugly like me. If if you're ugly ugly, don't go out there acting like you this and that. But you know, and I think I hear you though, yeah, Like if you're looking at this R. Kelly stuff. Though a lot of these fingers are sitting up here boo who and this their daughters was fast as hell? Should they be accountable for that? They should be accountable for that because the thing heils You allowed it. You allowed it. You took her over
there with this man. You knew what he was about. You could listen to this man's music. First of all, change if my daughter was a singer and R. Kelly was talking about doing so. Now I'm like, R Kelly, you finally do some beats on it or something like that. But as far as I've messed with to your stuff was a little too sexy. Suggested First, he's a young girl.
You gotta have common sense. It's a difference. Now Disney is hitting me up about my daughter or somebody like um to do that type of music that caters towards younger people or something like that. That makes more sense. But this dude, everything he does sound like it's one of his songs. R. Kelly tells you who he is on every song. They should be accounting before it and see the cold thing about it is, man, people don't see it know him. Child abuse don't only come in
the form of whooping the kid's ass. You know what I'm saying. Child abuse is a motherfucker. If you allow a twelve thirteen, fifteen, six and young kids to do what the punk they want as a parent, that's child abuse. Should abuse. It's it's like you got some parents. I do some parents James and I was in high school. I had some humps. I had certain homies. You go
over their house. They was allowed to drink beer. There was a lot of the smoke weed, there was a lot of and they did this stuff all when their mother was an house living room smoking the joint fifteen sixty years old. Mims might walk by hit it and it's like, I'm looking at this ship, like damn, I'm this ship is crazy dog y'all. They're like, man, you want to know I'm cool? Well know him. That's why you know. I wouldn't even sit down and and and
get drunk with my kids. My sons, my daughter. You know, you see these these little cats hanging next to pops and and Mom's smoking weed together. That's unheard of. So I'm a kid, You're not a parent no more, you're a friend. You wanted the homies, you know what I'm saying.
So you know it's just how we're pairing. And you know, I ain't gonna take nothing from nobody because I made a lot of mistakes as a as a young father, you know, going to pre but I can honestly say I never did any type of sucking drugs with my kids. I didn't allow my boys to sagging their pants. I didn't allow my boys to have in rings. Right now to day now one of my sons ears appears northern is mine. So it's just certain things I did. It wasn't about the money factor for me and my kids.
My kids was good. But being a parent, you're not gonna go down the road I went down. You're not gonna if I caught you with Japans hanging off your grass were bee from the pipe. So there's no excuses for us with children. And I don't give a funk what type of man you are. I don't give a funk. What type of woman you are? You know, it's natural instances that that helps you do the right thing when it comes to being a parent, and everybody ignores that.
Most people ignored, such as myself. But I understood. I understood. I ain't gonna say me because I understood. My sons ain't like that. My right down to day I got. I got my son out there in Texas doing real good. M My oldest son is raised in. His daughter. She's fifteen and he's been having her since day one, straight out to her school. He's doing good. He's been working as a pharmacy tech for him. My son is thirty
seven and he's been working in since he was nineteen. Thing, yeah he he when when you know, he was going back to school at this daughter came. But he found out that being a single parent with a baby, it's a motherfucker what he is man, especially for a dude. Man, it changed. It's hard to raise kids, man. And you ain't got to tell me. I've been trying to throw Nino at the house, but for over three and a half years. I mean, you have to stop everything. And
that's what these young women don't understand. Once you become a parent. That means you're a parent. You have to protect and provide for this child. It ain't for grandmama and granddaddy to do. You had to go. You have to do it. There was certain choices I had to make, James, when I had my son, it was certain choices I had to make, and I said, you know what, I'm gonna stay Tempto was down to be the man and my son's life that he deserves. It. Hedn't asked to
be here, right, it ain't they funk? Yeah, you know, he didn't ask to be here. So hell yeah. It was a lot of sacrifices of me and my wife both had to make a lot of second plice. The first thing was us getting married. You know what I'm saying. I said, man, I won't stop the roll a certain way. So we was married, right, you know, so we married. I held it down. It's been a long time and I ain't go to the pen say it's been all peaks and cream dough. But it's been pretty good. It's
been more good than bad, and that's what matters. Been more good than that. Man. Well, I think this one right here, man, this one for the books, right here exams. Right, it's good, it's good. And then I'm glad that that we're able to voice ote opinion on certain things like this, because everybody got their own perception of, oh yeah, it's good for Kelly, not just for Kelly, everybody. Other people should have been accountable for what the fun is going on,
you know what I'm saying. And you know, it's just sucked up that some of us just get the raw handled and ship and it is what it is, bro, it is what it is.
