In April 1964, a woman walked into a hospital in Chicago pretending to be a nurse. She told a new mother that a doctor needed to run some tests and stole her baby. The baby had been named Paul Fronczak, and his kidnaping shook the nation. It prompted a massive manhunt. Hospitals changed their policies. Families were torn apart.
